Rilakkuma and Kaoru is a breath of fresh air and a relaxing show to watch. It's wholesome and adorable, it's funny and each episode has different life lessons and important little messages to send across to the viewer.
Rilakkuma may look like a kid's show but anyone can enjoy it, it has many things to teach young people and adults a like and a lot of things to enjoy. Just from watching you can tell the creators put a lot of heart and soul into this show and it's totally worth checking out, even if you are unsure about it at first glance.
The story follows Kaoru
...
over a period of time and her companions and how they grow and experience life over time, the anxiety of making several different life decisions and how you don't need to worry and sweat every little thing. The show is simple but important and has a lot of positive messages to send across and each one can touch different viewers in different ways.
The presentation of the show is amazing, the unique stop motion looks beautiful with trippy dream-like sequences added in. The animals in the show are adorable and the animation is all insanely impressive. The sound work is wonderful too with peaceful and catchy music.
I watched this show with several friends and we're all adults and took tremendous joy out of it, looking forward to seeing more like this!

Kakegurui follows themes for sure, but does it fit those themes well? Well ehh, no, not really, but is it a damn fun experience? It is subjective but god yes, I was never left un-entertained watching this anime.
It follows the premise as being a gambling anime but is not really that as there is never really any stakes, and always seems to find a safe way to do things. The more you watch the show you get a grasp of how it does things, and it becomes very predictable, you usually are always aware of the outcome, but how you get there, pushes you
...
to watch more and find out. The gambling games presented in the show are very exciting and unique and seeing how they are played out is very entertaining, however the stakes always stay the same no matter what they seem to put on the line.
The art in the show is beautiful, there are many scenes that look pretty good but mainly the characters are something that catch your eye. The girls are all very pretty in their design and the facial expressions are what really makes Kakegurui, Kakegurui. The faces are so unique and exaggerated and convey such a strong feeling of emotion, it's just so thrilling to watch.
The soundtrack in the show is marvellous, the OP to the general soundtrack. The songs in the show are of a jazzy feel and are usually exciting and fast paced but still have a feeling of dread in them. The intro is very catchy and the sound effects used throughout the show are very powerful and add a strong sense of feeling to each scene. The voice acting in the show is also wonderful to listen to and adds so much to the characters.
The anime is presented in a very colourful and exhilarating way, making everything seem so much more exciting and fun to watch than it really is. The feeling put into each scene with the art, the music, the sounds, the voice work, it's all so powerful. Although the show is very entertaining to watch I cant stress enough that it is rather predictable and that makes it feel less intense. I feel that the show would highly benefit by taking risks and being more brutal, having gore or real stakes on the line, but it takes a safe route so that all of the characters you love can stay healthy and happy.
Overall the show is a joyful experience but is lacking real consequence which makes everything predictable and feel less strong, although the show really artificially pushes those feelings in with its spectacular art and sound work. I recommend it as an exciting game show with wonderful art and many a waifu to pick as your favourite, but not as an actual 'gambling' anime or something with any kind of risk.

Wow, what a journey this was. Made In Abyss Is the first manga I have ever read and It was an amazing experience, I never thought that I would love reading so much. It started with my passion for the anime, it became my favourite and I couldn't wait any longer to see what happened next, so I read the manga (from the beginning).
The story is outstanding and full of mystery. The idea of this abyss that has never been fully explored and the history behind it not being fully known, along with its relics and creatures. Everything that happens has you on the edge
...
of your seat, you always want to keep reading chapter after chapter to see what happens next, and I can say that I was never disappointed. It sounds silly but I never thought that a book would make me cry, I felt a range of intense emotions, I felt sad, disturbed, anxious, it was truly a wonderful experience.
The art in this manga is marvellous, there's so much detail and every character keeps its consistency, emotion is conveyed so well and the action looks so intense for a still image. The backgrounds are conveyed so beautifully and you can really feel out the environment through the pages.
The characters are so sweet and lovable and you cant help but love (almost) everyone you bump into in this book. Their designs are all amazing and all have unique personalities and motives, which makes their actions all the more emotional when they happen.
With a manga to anime comparison, the anime does the manga so much justice, putting colour into these wonderful characters and worlds, and adding so much to the world with its gorgeous sound track. The anime has some extra scenes that are not in the manga, but I wont argue with that, they were still very enjoyable and added some more feeling for the story and its concepts. However the manga has some more visually strong representations of things such as fighting and shows more nudity than the anime.
I cant wait to see what the anime does with the rest of this lovely story and I cant want to see what else is in store for the manga too, it's been a wonderful journey with these fun and lovable characters, and I'm so excited to feel all of these crazy emotions once more. I highly recommend this manga to anyone who loves a story that really makes you feel these dark emotions and has a hunger for mystery and twists.

I was in love with the No Game No Life anime, it was colourful and beautiful, the characters were funny and likeable, the games were exciting and the way they would always outsmart the opponent were interesting. However, the anime felt like it was cut short and like there was so much more left to be discovered, like Blanks journey was just beginning. I had very high expectations for this movie and I can say, I was really disappointed.
No, you do not get to see Blanks journey continue, in fact the main characters are not really even in the movie apart from a tiny part
...
at the end. You do get to see Dola and Jibril a bit though.
Instead this movie focuses on two "new" characters, in the war ridden time before Shiro and Sora turned up into the new world of games, which was far more colourful and peaceful. However the new characters Schwi and Riku look and act extremely similar to Shiro and Sora in some ways apart from their relationship and circumstances being different, so on. I can't say that I hate these characters, I do enjoy them and find them sweet still.
The movie had good music and some VERY beautiful animation and graphics, some of the backgrounds were breathtaking and learning about the previous world was interesting and provided you with some cool lore and fight scenarios, but there were no games and the movie is VERY different to the anime in how the action plays out. It felt like there were too many exposition scenes where characters would sit around and talk, and just nothing going on. I left the movie feeling very empty and like there was basically no action at all.
Sure the movie looked very nice, but to say the characters barely moved or did little of anything at all, bored me to death. I was so excited and waited for something epic to happen but it never really did. There is a fight scene or two, but compared to all the waiting you have to do, they do not really make up for that at all.
Beautiful movie, but it's boring and slow as hell. If you are invested in the No Game No Life universe and all of its lore, then I can recommend you check this out as it fills you in about the previous world without all the peaceful rules. However if you loved the anime for the characters, colour, games, action and humour, then I think you should give this one a miss as it is not really similar to the anime apart from starring in the same universe.

First of all, finding this anime was quite the journey which I think is what made the show so enjoyable for me and my friend. It started off with seeing tons of fan art on Twitter, which was all very cute but I was confused, another one of those art trends? It looks funny, it looks weird. One day someone posted the "lets pop together" music skit on Twitter and I though oh that's where its from, its a music video. I told my friend about it and searched it up on YouTube. I then found a series of VERY short skits, then I though
...
oh its some kind of YouTuber series of short skits. That's when my friend said wait a minute, its an anime, a whole anime. After constantly being surprised and confused, I was amazed, how the hell is this an anime, seriously? We have to watch this.
I can totally understand why people wouldn't enjoy this show, it's very random out of place humour, all in a line. Some of the jokes are weird and some of them are funny, it all depends on how you look at it. I can say I enjoyed the show a lot with my friend but I really did not like those 'bob team ebic' sections (the ugly paint ones). However some of them were extremely creative and some of the references got to me and made me laugh.
There is no story, the whole show is very short random skits put together. There is a lot of parody scenes and poking fun at other series and you either love it or you hate it. At the end of the day you only need to see one episode to figure out if you'll enjoy the show or not. The episodes are also rather short, which makes them easy to watch since they are 10 minutes long each, one female dub and one male dub, so pick your poison.
If you enjoy the humour, It is a refreshing show to watch in small 10 minute bursts, if you don't then I think you'd want to drop this one because every episode has different parodies and jokes but follows the same kind of pattern.

I'll be honest, when I first started watching this show I was not instantly drawn in, I thought it was a bit weird, a bit slow, I got a little bored, however it ended up being my favourite anime of all time.
The animation is great with some breathtaking visuals and awesome voice work and a truly outstanding OST. The story is extremely intriguing and has so many directions it can go in that you cant help but be excited for what will happen next.
The concept of the show, the mysterious abyss and the consequences of the curse, pull you in and make you want to
...
explore it alongside the main characters and see what the abyss has to offer too. There are a lot of funny sweet moments and it pulls you in with a child's curiosity, slowly turning into a dark corner. There are many moments that are beautiful and make you want to cry and a lot of moments that give you goosebumps and makes your jaw drop.
There are a range of characters with all kinds of quirky personalities but id say most of them are very charming and likeable in their own ways, as everyone is working individually and together to discover the mysteries hidden with-in the abyss. As scary and weird as some of the characters can be, you can come to understand it somewhat due to the concept of their world.
Compared to the manga, there is not much to be missed from this segment of the show apart from some fighting visualisation and more blunt nudity and such. However the anime has some extra parts in it that the manga does not that give the story a bit of an extra kick and shows off more of the amazing features of the story. The colour and amazing OST also does the manga a great service.
Overall this anime is a breathtaking experience and leaves you wanting more, makes you emotional and has a lot of chilling moments. If you are into plot twists, dark themes, emotional stories and a world full of mystery, you will love this show! If you are looking for a cute and innocent story about children exploring the unique world, you might be in for a shock though, so be wary of that.
A lovely show and a breath of fresh air for me, I highly recommend it!

Are you a fan of the Nekopara game series? That's wonderful but there Is no need to watch this painfully boring OVA. As a hardcore fan I can see and be happy by the fact other people might enjoy this movie but for me it was a painful experience I got no enjoyment out of at all.
I have not played every Nekopara game (I have fully played through Volume 0 and Volume 1, and own Volume 2), nor am I a huge fan of the series, I find the story boring and kind of laughable but I can admit it has some 10/10 artwork and
...
voice work. The series is wonderful as an erotic hentai type thing but as for a touching story, it puts me to sleep. But again as I said, I'm no fan and especially not fond of the slice of life genre.
If you are someone who also loved Nekopara for its lovely artwork and hot raunchy scenes, the OVA contains none of that what-so ever. It is a scene for scene recap of vol.1 of the Nekopara games missing out on all of the lewd scenes and any kind of sexual themes, pretty much.
I watched the OVA to try have some fun with a friend but it wasn't even "so bad it's good", It was just a bland experience that I couldn't wait to end.
