Since it is my first review, i'm going to make it simple and understandable about this anime.
Name an anime that give you a high exception and in the end crush up completely your hope?? Glasslip. That's the name. Glasslip. I "repeat again, GLASSLIP!! That's it.
Glasslip plot is simple. They start with a new transfer student name, David and become friend with Touko. And Touko introducing Yuki, Sacchi, Hiro, and Yanagi. After that, the story begin.
The story begin quite promising with Touko had the ability to see future. Soon after that revealed that Touko need to be each other with David to see this fragment of
...
future.
I really interesting with this plot and keep waiting and watching for the next episode.
Then, the really disaster begin.Each episode is out and is getting more,more, and more confusing.It seem like this story doesn't have any plot.This anime just show you what the characters do in their
daily life, and is extremely boring!!
Then what happen to the ability to see future?? Here's what happen.
IS NOTHING HAPPEN.
Almost all of the character apart Yanagi and David doesn't have any purpose in this anime and the plot as well!!
- Hiro's sister keep doing the "tee-hee" thing with the Hiro.
- Yanagi keep with the "EHHHHH!?" thing (And it's extremely annoying)
- Sachi keep reading the book from the episode 1 till episode 13.
- And Yanagi relationship with Yukinari still doesn't solve anything. Are they just friend? Or dating?? Or what??!! They just leave it unsolved.
And here's the truth, I'm almost fall asleep around episode 5 and 6.To make it more confusing is when you realise that Hiro and Sachi sudden;y become a close friend.
How's that happen?? The only thing they do is reading book together without saying anything. And they become close. What a stupid plot...
In comparism with Nagi No Asakura, is truth that the character resemble lots of similarity from that series. But the plot nowhere good enough with Nagi No Asakura!!
Nagi No Asakura is an anime that capable to make anyone shed a tear, but for Glasslip the only thing that anime capable is to make me feel boring and fall asleep early then my schedule.
Well, after all the bad thing i told you guy about this anime, let me tell you the bright side of it.
The OST and the animation really are remarkable.
The opening song give you something harmony to hear and made you feel relax.
And the ending also not bad. I keep hearing over and over again and thinking why waste this good OST while you represent the worst romance anime ever??
And the animation really awesome.Properly the only thing that made me keep watching Glasslip is their nice graphic and also the comparism with Nagi No Asakura.
But again,such a waste, when the studio that manage to made Nagi No Asakura,one of the best romance anime, is the one who made the worst romance anime,Glasslip.
I don't recommend this anime to anyone.Is not even worth to waste your time on this.And plz don't made this series second season. Just please!!! I had enough with it.
As summary,
here's my final score. 3/10.
