Hanasaku Iroha is a very impacting and high quality slice of life anime with a touch of romance that you don't see very often. The story starts of fairly simple and won't get that much more complicated as the anime progresses. However what many people don't realise is, is that very complex stories aren't automatically good and neither are simple ones bad. This is the case with Hanasaku Iroha, a very relatable and simple story with near perfect execution.
The difference between this anime and other similar slice of life animes is the depth of every single character. What really caught me by surprise was
...
how much I actually empathized with the characters. Whenever I see a conflict rising up between the characters it feels like as if I'm the one who's caught up in it. Hanasaku iroha has really done a great job at bringing out the characters and managed to make them and all of the watchers feel more alive.
I have to say that this is one the most enjoyable animes I've watched in quite a while. The precise art, the catchy opening song, and the realistic story all complement the quality of this show. Watching this anime makes you think about life and all the decisions you have to make in the future.
I suggest you give this anime priority over other ones and watch it asap if you haven't already.

What if your favorite hairstyle?
Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu is an anime that you'll either love or absolutely hate, it's about a boy in love with the twintails hairstyle and becoming a hero because of that love. I found myself enjoying this series quite much by not questioning the characters' logic too much and viewing this anime as more of a comedy rather than something serious, because there are many things that occur that don't make much sense in the real world.
Story
I have to say that the story was quite generic up until episode 7, it consisted mainly of very cliche things. The
...
characters just gained superpowers and rids the world of evil every day, there weren't any particularly interesting things in their fighting style either, just the same old scream out the name of the attack/power and wreck shop. After episode 7 the story suddenly takes a turn and becomes much more interesting.
Art
I liked the artstyle in Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu quite a lot, the girls were all very cute and would always put a smile on my face. Unfortunately the quality of the art was a bit lacking. What I noticed was that the close ups become slobby in certain situations, either the facial structure was a bit weird or the eyes become very 'intriguing'. With that being said I want to clarify that the art quality was still far from being horrible and still pretty good despite its flaws.
Sound
The only song that I took a liking to is the opening song, I would often find myself not skipping the OP to listen to it another time and that's a good sign.
The background music in the anime however was nothing special and neglectable, it did set the mood well and complete it's duty.
Characters
This was the weak part of the anime, the characters were all quite flat and didn't develop that much aside from the main character Souji. Souji start off as someone who undeniably loves twintails until his doubt of his love kicked in, that's when things took a twist and when his character started to shine.
Enjoyment
Comedy is one of my favorite genres and Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu was a great work of that genre. There were definitely some lame jokes that left me speechless but that's also what makes this anime so great. But again enjoyment lies on your own mind and there are a lot of people that would undoubtedly hate this anime to its core. But nevertheless you should give this anime a try and see for yourself!
After watching this anime I think I want to touch some twintails myself.

As a huge fan of Kyoto Animation I couldn't wait to dive into this anime!
Having watched almost every anime of Kyoto Animation I have to say that Amagi Brilliant Park is unique on its own and yet another stunning creation.
While most high school comedy animes are of course set in a school environment this one takes place on a very magical place, Amagi Brilliant Park!
Story - 8
The story is fairly simple yet entertaining, the main character Kanie is set out to save a amusement park from the brink of extinction.
There aren't really a lot of plot twists and unexpected events but that doesn't mean the
...
story is bad.
Sometimes the process alone of seeing people come together and overcome harsh trials is heartwarming, Amagi Brilliant Park did a great job at presenting that.
The only complaint here is that the last episode isn't actually part of the main plot, so for those of you who don't like OVA you can just skip it if you want, as the anime's ending is actually ep. 12.
Art - 9
Oh it's the part where we talk about Kyoto animation's art again, I mean are there really any explanations needed here? The art is very refreshing, the colors are vibrant and exciting, the characters feel much more alive than those of any other anime. The art just feels like it's on another level. In short, Kyoani's art is love, Kyoani's art is life.
Sound - 7
The music in Amagi Brilliant Park wasn't anything particularly special or very memorable, but it did achieve what it was made for, it set the mood very well and didn't stand out too much. I think a 7 is justified here as I think an 8 or higher should only be given to music that touches your heart.
Character - 8
I really liked how the main character Kanie seemed reluctant at first, but quickly makes up his mind because of the dire situation the park is in and the consequences it has if the park breaks down. This really shows that deep down Kanie is actually a very good person, that tsundere side of him makes me go cringe in joy. What slightly disappointed me was that you don't get to see a lot about Sento, the girl that lured the savior in. Other characters played a very comical part and were very entertaining to watch, my fav was definitely Tiramie.
Enjoyment - 9
Even though this anime is not a masterpiece by any means, I still got a lot of enjoyment out of it. The comedy was great and made me breath more air out of my nose numerous amount of times. Even though the ending wasn't anything out of expectation, I was still quite touched by the moment.
Conclusion
This anime is definitely recommended for people that like comedy, the anime also contains a slight bit of drama but I'd say the comedy in this show is worth the most. For those of you who are perverted and like fanservice, there is some of that as well but luckily not enough to overpower the anime.
note: I didn't spell check so there might be some mistakes.

Before I started watching Love Live! School Idol Project, I was a bit hesitant about going into it. I'm not entirely sure whether it was the fact that I was a huge K-On! fan and didn't want to accept other similar animes or the fear I have for too many main characters at once because I dislike overly complex/confusing stories.
But I have to say that all my hesitations were blown away right at the first episode, as I continued I discovered that this anime is to one of the most lovely anime I have ever seen.
Now onto the 5 parts of ratings:
Story -
...
8
I found the story to be quite original in its own way, the dream to become an idol isn't anything unseen in the anime world but Love Live! School Idol Project managed to set it up in a magnificent way. You don't often see students doing everything they can to save their school, and in this anime they do it in a very uncommon way.
Art - 9
Very high quality art, lots of bright colors, I love it.
The first thing that really caught my attention was the way their eyes were drawn. Eyes of other animes really pales in comparison to these. I found myself looking at those shiny pearls way more often than necessary, maybe Honoka will say :" Hey! My boobs are down here." if you know what I mean.
But nothing is perfect, the only thing I slightly disliked was the usage of CGI in far away dancing movements, but it wasn't a huge deal because the close ups were drawn.
Sound - 10
Remember when I said that nothing is perfect? Well here is a 10/10.
The music in this anime was not only pleasant to the ear, they all had a meaning behind them as well. The way that more and more characters come into the music everytime and make the music even better than it already was is just beautiful. As of today I still listen to many songs of Love Live! School Idol Project regularly.
Character - 8
This section is what I feared in the beginning because there are simply too many characters to go over. But Love Live! School Idol Project managed to do a great job at presenting the various characters that appear throughout the show, there are a few characters that we don't know too much about but the stories behind the characters that were showcased more than made up for it.
Enjoyment - 9
I think this will be one of those animes that brighten up my day whenever I feel despressed or lose faith in humanity. I'm also very glad that they made a season 2.
Conclusion
One of the most memorable animes I've watched till now, and I was even hesitant at first.
For those of you who like slice of life or music animes this is a must watch. And for those of you who only watch macho stuff and think this is too sissy/girly, you should at least give this anime a try, because trust me this is no generic school anime that you despise.
