It starts off with a Bang but slows down immensly to introduce us to the world.
To know how the dungeon works, what it actualy is and what creatures lurk inside stays important to the story so far.

For now we have:
1. Some interesting characters, each with their own motivations, stories and goals.
2. A massive world which gets even more interesting as the anime progresses.
3. Some well animated action and
4. Some well drawn and deliscious looking food.

What I like most about this one is:
... 1. Characters who have an ACTUAL STORY
2. The humour
3. The mostly tasteful fanservice
4. That it feels like good old fashioned fantasy
5. There doesn't seem to be massively overpowered stuff yet

So, if you like fantasy that isn't Isekai,
enjoy characters who arent as bland as white bread and actualy bleed,
get hungry from well drawn food,
have the attention span to not get bored when there is 5 minutes of dialogue
and like surprises
then I recommend you give it a try.
