Quite disappointed to see people giving Asadora! lower ratings than what it truly deserves. If any of you have read other works of Naoki Urasawa (Arguably the Greatest mangaka of this generation & all-time) like MONSTER & 20th Century Boys, you will know he starts things off a bit slow and it takes a while for him to set everything up perfectly for the story to become a masterpiece worthy title. The first few pages of Asadora! immediately hooks you as you see Tokyo Olympics 2020 in shambles after a monster attack. Then we jump back to 1959 from where the main story starts. It's ...

This is the most heart wrenching and painful movie I've ever watched. It shattered my heart completely, I just couldn't stop the stream of tears falling from my eyes, such a tragic story ans depiction of the struggles, hardships and agony the innocent people have to face during meaningless wars that virtually achieves nothing but suffering and despair. Such a beautiful yet heartbreaking representation of the anguish of innocent victims of war. This movie truly is timeless, the message is still relevant as endless innocent people have suffer greatly due to wars even today which is a poignant truth we cannot ignore. Animation is still ...
