Really similar animes. (Love triangle, drama, focus on the main character, slice of life etc..) Kimi No Iru Machi is way more fast-paced, and Golden Time is generally better in his story-telling/animation and characters. But both shows are really enjoyable if you like romantic comedy with a lot of drama.

So, If you enjoyed Kanojo Okarishimasu you'll love Golden Time : • The both MC are college students and they both live alone • It's a rom-com too • The romance is pretty fast-paced • Both animes take times to show how they main character thinks, and with this, we see their ups and downs, in Golden Time we can even talk about mental state Though, Golden Time is clearly better than Kanojo Okarishimasu
