Your lie in April is one of the worse animes ever to be written. The animation is the only thing saving this pathetic excuse of a show. Honestly, this was the most lacking emotional anime I have ever watched. Violet Evergarden was even better than this sorry of an excuse anime. The characters especially are horrid, the main female lacks so much character development it makes me wanna puke. Honestly, I was crying. Crying with tears from laughing so hard.

Pathetic. Honestly, anyone liking this and protecting this has no taste in actual emotional anime, or actually animes that make you FEEL for the characters. Animes ... such as Clannad, Air, Kanon, Violet Evergarden, Macross Frontier, and so much more you really need to get better XDDD

I have appreciated this anime/manga since it first came out. From Vampire Knight to Vampire Knight Guilty. To picking up the first volume of Vampire Knight to now Vampire Knight Memories. This Manga has given me a roller coaster so far, and have me waiting for more moments, more chapters. However, it seems the characters are a bit forced in the chapters concerning Zero/Yuki/and Kaname. In a sense that Yuki seems to force herself to Zero's side when in reality we know our main heroine hasn't had the proper time to move on yet.

And suddenly our cold knight Zero, pressures Yuki with his feelings even ... though she looses the man she loves. The journey between the two seem.. poorly written and could be written better by the author. It doesn't show much in key moments. Such as Yukis death in the last chapters in the main manga. Or the effects it leaves her children and the other characters.

And even some characters, seem forced as well outside the main trio. Such as showing random characters into the main plot. Like Shiki and Rima. It didnt add to the story and we should have more focus on Kaname as a character with his past. Which seem to be lacking, and not what Hino is giving to the fans. As she said so herself. She didn't give Kaname justice in the main manga. And therefore I believe she should give him more of a spotlight.

Howver it is good overall.
