Okay , first of all let me start by saying that this anime had a lot of positive reviews and opinions, and given the rating, I expected a good one , But I'm sorry to say that It was a total letdown. I understand that most of you feel that this was an awesome anime , But I didnt feel that way , I am omitting the good points however few and concentrating on the demerits.
Minor spoilers ahead
The way the anime progressed was the biggest letdown of the anime , It had a pretty descent start with the introduction of the kind yet ,seemingly
...
cowardly king and the childhood affairs of princess yona and soo won , but the story didnt pan out the way you would expect it to.
Okay so on Yona's 16th birthday there is a huge party and Soo won ( Yona's childhood one way sweetheart) comes to see her all handsome and shining , and he sees her as a little sister(wow! like we havent seen that before) but ofcourse Yona desperately tries to hang on him and drags Hak into some comic situations which forced out a smile.
Then there is some guy who serves snacks there too , well he dies too soon for me to remember his name . Okay on the birthday there are some scenes for yona an Soo Won .
Yona presents her love for Soo Won to her father who inexplicably denies it and says that is impossible, (yeah maybe he knows genetics and about inbreeding depression)
thats just awesome! , I'm skipping some scenes here , Then during the night she goes to convince her father again of her feelings , but alas there are no guards and the kings' chamber is slightly opened and she opens to see what, Soo Won has stabbed her father to death (shocker) and then she mopes and they decide to kill her and then miraculously Hak beats off a whorde of men and comes to rescue her , she Hak and the guy (irrevelant guy mentioned prior) makes an ingenious plan , the GUY puts a robe around his head and runs ever so conspicously into the open and while Yona and Hak make a break for it , and all the guards chase after the robed guy , yeah that was original and it might not have worked if the guards didnt have mush for brains, but they were guarding the palace so they couldnt have been some random potatoheads.
Now moving on to the point were she escapes from the wind clans' territory, and meets the priest and he tells the legend of the dragons , Now I was starting to like it and thought they anime would take off from here . Whoops!! I forgot about the part where the prince from the fire clan chases yona and hak and in one scene he literally freezes as he sees Yona's eyes (because they are so fierce) yeah really , more of that to come and I would literally die if I dont mention Yona and Hak falling off a frickin cliff and surviving, I mean c'mon , fighting off an army was one thing but that , I'm pretty sure that Hak was superman ( only asian) .
Then they go in search of the four dragons of legend who will supposedly help Yona in her quest whatever that was. Meeting the dragons is kind of interesting and each dragon had a pretty decent backstory except for the yellow dragon , I especially like the blue dragon's backstory with Ao.
Yona trains really hard and she becomes a master archer within 10 episodes , ( believable since she shoots 300 arrows a day or so).
The part about Yan Kumji was pretty decent , but I feel that the part about the dragons were very rushed and not well told , they could have dropped the useless parts about Yona and Soo Won and added some more about the dragons especially the yellow dragon. The anime had a good pace through the first 3 episodes then slows down and then picks up again during the 16 or 17 episodes.
If I really loved something , It was the awesome background score which always gave me goosebumps , but the story was lacking in overall and it didnt give insight into the lives of the characters much. There is sure to be more in the second season and I hope they improve on the faults.
All in all it was a decent anime but totally undeserving of the hype it got.

I liked this anime, I loved this anime , I hated it ,I've mixed feelings about this anime.
I have now confirmed that romance anime arent exactly my thing, cause when I watch I become the character but I also have my preferences , I want me to end up with the girl I like.
From The beginning onwards it was pretty predictable that Takesu( I watched A Dub this time so I dont know the exact spelliings and names , so bear with me)
and taiga would fall head over heels for each other , I mean that much was obvious , I mean how many times
...
have we seen the same thing? But I wished that wouldnt be the case ...
I wanted Ami to hook up with Takesu ,I mean like she was the person who first showed any interest in him and had all those romantic incidents , But NOOO!!! , Takesu doesent see her like that and whenever she tries to say something he apparently is deaf , he should really see and an ophthalmologist about that , but wait he only doesnt hear HER say it ,, what a drag , and she is like the dog barking up the wrong tree , she just keeps embarassing herself ,and in the end she doesnt even tell her I love you instead she keeps mump and stays a saint .
And what the hell is up with that kitamura or whatever giving the tough guy act and falling in love with whoever , I hate his guts.
Toward the second half , Ami just becomes someone who comes in cheer or scold Takesu , Whats up with that.?
Anywho , I didnt downright hate it , mainly because the story was pretty good and I enjoyed it to the last moment.
I know its an old anime(comparatively) so if you havent watched it yet you should give it a go , you're sure to enjoy that. And I know its late I kind of sorry If accidentally squeezed any spoilers up there.

This anime had its ups and downs, of which I would care to mention are the downs. The story was pretty plain and simple, a bit exhausted type though. I am more of a 'in depth' type of guy who enjoys a good storyline , but unfortunately this anime didnt have that much to offer, I really hate an anime that leaves too many loopholes in the story even if its for our enjoyment.
This anime had too bland a story to begin with , Yet you cant expect much depth from a 13 episode anime, it is rushed , it takes an aweful lot
...
of time to depict the silly love relations of bell yet, kind of tones down on the battle scenes which really drive the anime forward.
All said and done, I really enjoyed it , I'm sure that not everyone would have the same appreciation. Almost every female character has a crush on bell and it kind of seems cliche'd and the MC has a mysterious ability that allows him to become very strong in the limited amount of time.
When I watch an anime I naturally envision myself as the MC , naturally( although overrated ,) I loved the anime.
It is pretty obvious that the creators havent given us the last and there is still more to come, depending on the rest (if it will come,) the anime cannot be satisfactorily critiqued.
The antagonist is apparently the goddess of beauty(I didnt acre enough to remember the name) and she plays a rather subtle role in the anime. There are ties and backstorys that need to be said, and they didnt focus on Hestia's or Aiz's past.
If you enjoy the girls falling in love with the MC and the MC becoming stronger very fast and becoming the hero then this is the anime for you.
I like that sort of thing and therefore loved it.If I enjoy an anime I tend to overlook even the obvious faults.
It really does need a second season for it to fully emerge .
In a nutshell , this anime is not everyone's cup of tea, but it can be pretty sweet to some who enjoy it.
You should really think before you start up on this or you might regret it later on.
Opinions to improve my reviews are welcomed.

Most of the around 13 episodes anime that I have seen so far had one thing in common ; eacch of them would suck us in at about the five episode mark.
So I expected something big to happen , I kept expecting , until pretty much nothing came up, so I thought that this was some boring romantic slice of life anime.
I even started seeking the episodes and the scenes in which especially kariu cries and whines.
But towards the end I was shocked to find that I was actually interested in the story and what would happen.
I read the synopsis, thought it would be like
...
the english movie 17 again , but the starting pace wasnt maintained.
And then it completely took over me towards the end and I loved it.
Especially there are huge twists at the end , leaving you
What now??
I'm pretty sure that anyone who sees this would want a second season.
This is surely one of the must see anime of 2016 , if romance in school is the kind of thing you are into , then this is the anime for you but with certain twists and turns.
The anime is packed with comedy and usually focuses on the mindsets of teenagers.

I actually wanted to see an anime with action and romance, I dont think I got the whole package I bargained for but nontheless the experience was truly one of a kind.
The artwork was really spectacular in its own way and gave a fresh tinge to the anime. The story is not much to work on , and I find anime that dont give the complete details of the story irritating. But this managed to keep me interested in the storyline and not wonder about the obvious trivial questions which were unanswered till the end.
I really loved the hint of romance between Mary and Haruhiro,
...
it seemed very subtle and not overly expressed or accelerated. The story develops faster than you would want it to, I personally would have loved for it to be a 25 episode anime, really i wanted to enjoy more but the ending was pretty good.
We always want the animes to end in our own specific ways in which it would be happier or the pairs we wanted would get together , but that would rule out the possibilties, as much as I hate that, I also admire the way in which they leave out for us to complete on our own.
In the fair sense it does have some drawbacks which I would not rather point out.
As a whole the series presents a refreshing adaptation, and sure to be one you'll enjoy, but as i have found it has not gotten the recognition or attention it clearly deserves, just a clue that not all low rated anime are as bad as they are depicted.

Hello Everyone This is just my take on Shigatsu wa kimi no uso.
I wanted to see this anime simply because I saw it on a lot of guys' list and when i checked It out It had a pretty good rating. And I was totally into a bit of romance. And when I read the synopsis I thought it would be like Nodame Cantabile or La Corda primo passo , both of which I'm not really comfy with as they are music anime.
But when I started watching It was instantly clear that this was different. This has to be the best romantic anie of all
...
time.
The story presents a simple background and the character development is exquisite. The MC really gives us an inside scope of his life and thoughts.
I watched each episode hoping to god it wouldnt end. I usually become too involved when watching an anime, in the end I cried my eyes out.
Not to forget the musical sequences with their vibrant imagery really do not bore you , much to my surprise. Her lie in april was truly what started it all. It truly is a heart touching story.
This is a must watch anime.

When I finished watching Akame Ga Kill I got an idea why it is named so and I didnt like the reasons for obvious reasons( It would be a spoiler).
The story is pretty solid one with very simple plot and backdrop. But the plot intensifies as the story moves on. It may be noted that the anime features extensive brutality , bloodshed and gore. In one way or the other all the characters against the protagonist is viewed with a beastly ambience.
The anime has also mixed the essence of humour in many occasions like the gay Bulat
who scares Tatsumi or the twisted love
...
affair between Esdeath and Tatsumi.
The fight re well sequenced and it exaggerates the sins and vices of the corrupt capital to a large extent.
In a nutshell Akame Ga Kill deserves atleast a single viewing as the anime has tried so hard to keep up with the manga . all though it is only a farcry.

The second part to tokyo ghoul is a total rip off .
the anime appears to have not even scratched the surface of the potential of the manga. It is pretty damn obvious that
Touka has a thing for Kaneki but still they dont get together she dosent even confess her love and guess what the anime leaves a lot of
loop holes in the plot it doesnt say the true objective of aogiri and in the end keneki just dies surrendering himself to the doves , now I can understand his stand about Hide dying but It
solve anything . The true one eyed owl still
...
escapes and the aogiri make a run for it.
The anime fails to explain many aspects like the two twin sisters who came into cochlea seeking their elder brother.
Who were they? How did they become ghouls?
The ghoul who beat up Kaneki in cochlea . Who is he?
They dosent sya much about Rize.
The plot while lacking in content still managed to keep me interested till the end.

When I first started watching Tokyo Ghoul I had doubts if I would like it . But then the plot took off and i started enjoying the anime.
Tokyo Ghoul is pretty heavy anime and is not meant for the light hearted , many aspects like cannibalism provide a not so pretty image .
The battle scenes are well orchestrated and the plot twists and turns and keeps us hanging. The anime has kept a tinge of fantasy.
I hope that the second part keeps the same flow as the first . But I think that the anime goes a bit too fast.
They could have added
...
more episodes to give more content. If the second part doesn't make up for the first it would be a total rip off.
If you are interested in watching this anime I would advise you to watch it till the end.
All said and done it is a awesome anime.
