I've been using this website to check out anime news and stuff, and keep track of the ones i already viewed; my process its simply "add to list - put my score - go next anime" so never i've never felt the need to write a review. This is my first review.
Why now i feel like i need to write somethin about this anime?
Because i saw a lot of high score here and there, people talking about very good animations and interesting plot/characters and after reading that i wanted to watch it. Im currently at episode 7 and honestly, i can't agree with other people

Animators did a good job at using "perspective" and colors to make action scenes more attractive and give a sense of "high quality" product but really, this anime animations and effects cannot compete with others 8/10 anime out there suchs as Demon Slayer, Fate, Mob Psycho, One punchman, Dororo -- and i could list way more and more.. giving more than 7 would be an insult to above mentioned animes.
Characters all look almost the same, their faces are just ctrl+c and ctrl+v here and there; rest of the world (background and such) are mostly diversified but you will mostly see the same spaces over and over again (for example, there are a lot of scenes where the mc has to retrieve his books/sword from a school locker, and this scenes look always almost the same, the camera doesnt change and doesnt show something new).
About the story itself, there is nothing special or new that can stand out and make me think "that's interesting, i want to watch more"; of course, plot taste is subjective.
As mentioned from other reviews, all characters most of time have awkward dialogues and interactions, some story choices have no explanation (im not talking about plot holes or stuff that has to be revealed) and everything seems so... cringe? (never used this term before, i just discovered what it means).
All of that to say that this anime as a whole cannot stand next to truly masterworks (in the same score area), and i don't understand why people put so many high scores for this.
I will update this review in the future with some spoilers so i can make examples of what i meant.
