Both anime features superpowers that cannot be obtained by normal peoples. In Kill la Kill, their uniforns gave them superpowers and their powers is based on how much life fabrics their uniforms has. Im Mekakucity, they unconsciously gained theit powers when they are in worst sittuations and suvived. Both anime is a refference of each other

Both anime focuses purely at solving mystery, crime, etc. at first Both will show their love towards someone at the end of each anime

Both anime has an Absurd element. In dog days, the 'war' in the story is less than you expect with the hero defeating enemies while learning the rules of the battlefield. In ben-to, the premise is fighting for half-priced bento and taking it seriously. This is a good anime, so don't judge an anime by it's premise.

...then you might like Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou desu yo? add

Both anime has problematic characters that cannot go well with other peoples. Mondaiji-tachi has its view mainly on the problem childrens that are bored living their life. This anime is worth to watch because it only has 10 episodes and every episode you watch makes you to want it. Sakurasou focussses on the problematic peoples that lives on sakurasou(the dorm that they live) and show to us the development of each characters. This anime shows us the gap of commoners and geniuses and this anime suceeded at doing this. The first few episodes does not show any of this but it will be shown in later episodes. I personally thought that this was your typical romance anime at first but after watching few episodes, then I thought this is a good anime and is worth watching for.
