the season sucked.it lacked content and was childish .but believe me this anime is a REAL GEM.
they are putting very much effort into the manga but the thing is that the anime wont make any impact due to these ABSOLUTE SHI*TY ANIMATIONS that's not suited for this anime. I mean it.go read the manga those who are not satisfied and you'll realize what I meant. the anime LACKS ORIGINALITY, ARTS, ELEMENTS, SUITABLE EFFECTS that is shown in manga. but above all the flaw is the arts.they are shown in the manga as in top quality yet in anime trashiest and sh*ttiest quality. they ... are overdoing animations in few occasions but usually its not making impact with arts at all.this STYLE is not suited for anime as shown in manga. in the anime they are only putting much effort into cringiest things you could find such as "waifu elements" ,"OP MC type" ,"adding supportive characters OP elements "and thats all. the original wasn't this cringe or childish it added up with the flow of plot, which is essentially "netherworld and only human".the anime is taking that apart and putting effort into useless things. I personally dont think that the animations are THAT bad, it's just they are simply focusing into characters too much and overdoing it contrasting simplest things on animations
