To be honest, I did not expect this to be a 10/10 nor to even pass the 5/10, but after watching this, I had to write review:
The story is not at all original, and we could even call it a trap to get us all to convert to the religion mentioned in the anime. But I will focus on the major point of focus in the story:
Loss of innocence. (Yes this is going to sound like an english lesson)
What marvellously worked is when the movie transmitted feelings you are going to feel them; When the atmosphere is bright, the music follows and you feel
...
joy. Then, the atmosphere darkens and you become scared. You feel what the character sees and I still don't know how they managed to do that.
By the end of the movie I had a bunch of feelings bundled up together, and upon hearing the sentence "You don't have to run anymore" and follows, I shed a tear, as though everything got released at once
I connected a lot with this anime for some reason, it might not be the same case for you (no my mom is not dead).
The bad part is obvious, it's not an anime focused on its story, so the story is really mediocre.
The growing up of the main character Kanna was executed well, and the twists and lies were very well made. I love Spirited Away, and Kamiarizuki no Kodomo did as good when it comes to theme and topic, minus the 20hour train scenes.

Starting off I'd like to say,
this movie follows all the tropes of what a usual anime enjoyer likes; dark emo-like main character that gets his life turned around by a beautiful kind silent girl, a kuudere basically. Now put this world into parkour and give it a sportish theme with a touch pf Akira genius. Brilliant Idea! until it wasn't:
Bubbles, tried their best to give us a good anime movie, failed terribly.
It feels like a very cheap anime. The characters are so obvious it's actually funny.
A good point though, is the animation which really made me dream.
The ending was obvious
...
and the story was pretty much incoherent.
If you liked weathering with you, this might be a perfect anime movie for you.
If you identify as the main protagonist of every animes, this might be a perfect anime movie for you.

RIGHT, I LOVE EVANGELION, but there are several things I hated in 3.0+1.0.
If you check my acc, you might stumble upon the numerous 10s Ive put on the evangelion franchise, but, Thrice Upon a Time disappointed me as a finale.
In the first part everything is executed to perfection, the art, the music, the aura...REI...the only thing that bothered me was Asuka, but we all love that tsundere attitude anyway. So if it finished there, in that part, it would have probably gone to a 11+ score here.
Though as you can see, the second part was... different? We get lost, why, why, why
...
and WHAT?! What a faint excuse for all his actions? what a unrealistic reason to do that? You could have also done this. Thats truly how I felt in the "second" part.
I knew Anno was always very realistic in the actions he made the characters do, so it bothered me in some sort how the second part of TUat made me believe at how much of an anime Evangelion was. But that wasn't what bothered me most. Because in the end, we kind of feel a redemption of Shinji, we look at the Evangelion main protagonist and cant help thinking "Wow, Shinji became an adult, from a 14 year old teenager to an adult", so for the people who watched Evangelion at 14 and saw 3.0+1.0 when they were adults, you'd start understanding how much of a journey our "baka" went.
THE REAL PROBLEM WAS, why did they take their time to make Mari the best girl?! I love Mari now, but did they have to make Mari so special? And it's not because you are 28 mentally that you have to become completely different Asuka. I really tried to wrap my head around the idea that the last character we see is Mari?!
I understand the idea of a parallel world to EoE, and all those deep signification behind small details. But was Thrice Upon a Time really meant to be the last Evangelion? It didnt seem like it. Ending the Evangelion series at 3.33 with the 3 children walking towards the horizon in a messed up world would have been grandiose for a finale. I really couldn't enjoy Thrice Upon a Time like I wanted to. The parts seem too different to be from the same movie.
Don't try to rely on art.
Also, naming spears as romans was confusing with Longinus which I thought was referring to the guy who speared Jesus, but made me doubt when I remembered that Cassius, the other spear was also referring to Gaius Cassius Longinus so, who is the spears referring to, the assassin of Julius Cesar or Saint Longinus?

First of all, I'd like to make a thing clear: the anime in itself (as a whole), isn't bad. At all.
Horimiya here Horimiya there, for a time Horimiya was a really famous romcom which pulled up my expectations as I love rom-coms & rom-drams (you can skip the brackets [] )
[ so watching stuff like GAMERS! (which obviously isn't that good of an anime :'D ) and Toradora (one that y'all prob know if you are making a mal) makes me laugh and I enjoy those moments where I chuckle or when I start to sob because the story starts getting sad (DISCLAIMER,
...
I CANNOT PHYSICALLY CRY AFTER DOING THE TRIO OF YLiA, Anohana & Clannad After story!!!). Basically, My hopes were very high for the (back then) up and coming great series Horimiya.
Though at start the fame really drove me away and all those HM pfps made me puke, I decided to watch.
My ratings are 7/9/8/3/7/7, I'll go one by one explaining my choices:
-The Story is fairly average, several animes follow the same "basic" storyline, with the characters first being a bit awkward but finally understanding each other, but with lots of complicated love stories between different characters developing throughout the story and basically "slowing down" the development of the 2 characters we actually give a damn about: Tooru x Miyamura (Fight me on that point I dare ya)
-THE ART WAS GRANDIOSE, nothing more to say. Art is really a thing that changes perspective on the anime, and they were able to ace the colours and the scenery.
-Do you really have to know sound?.
-Right. Characters. I think they were all too rushed. They were unfinished, things certain characters said *coughYukicough* basically had no sense whatsoever and the pace at which their relationships developed were truly bad. The only character which was digestible was probably the girl named Sakura, who was the most interesting character to watch. Miyamura seems very interesting at first with a mysterious past and how it "haunts him" but the more you learn the more you understand that he's basically just a normal kid who just is a bit more self-centred than usual, I understand how characters such as Miyamura makes 12 year olds with "depression" but Oh boy it pissed me off. Then most of the characters just acted like middle schoolers: Tooru skipping from one love to another, Yuki never admitting loving Tooru infront of him but breaking another girls heart selfishly, Honoka not liking boys because she is scared of them ... (RIGHT I MESSED UP, SOME ARE GOOD CHARACTERS OTHER THAN SAKURA :( )
-Even after hating the characters, I have to say that some things were really positive and I enjoyed clicking on the "next episode" button. I laughed at the quick skits that sounded natural between friends, and the characters (boys, the girls were a bit boring) had a real synergy between them like real friends. The 2nd last episode caught me off guard and the 7th (CH37 :O ) has some turning of events ;).
Overall, right, If it weren't for the cheap side romances, the characters that were forcefully added (aka honoka), the episodes devoted for Yuki's self guilt and the very "deep looking" shallow past of Miyamura...(Ive got more but thats not the point.), the very cute feel to Horimiya did hit somewhere around my heart. And the main "idea" was positive enough to not make myself regret watching it. Though I should admit to changing tabs and doing other things cause the story became too generic, I enjoyed watching HM.
The anime is talking about a part of my life I have yet to experience, and watching this made me realise that 3 years is short and that, so long as someone needs you, you should be happy. As Doggy Kun said: "I wanted to protect her (...) wanted to push her (...) but in the end, she was also the one protecting me (...)" something like that, I don't remember much :P. ]
IF you have free time, watch Horimiya so that when someone speaks to you about HM you can proudly say all the reasons why the show is too childish even though "They did it withoyt protection" :V

First, let me start by saying that, Last crusade is of course not a 1/10.
I watched this a had a really good time looking at the great animation it has to offer, certain fights are absolutely magnificent. That would be my first point on why I loved this anime.
The story is somewhat generic, but original animes are awfully complicated to find nowadays, but this really felt like I was watching Asuna & Kirito in an Isekai and I found that hilarious.
The story pacing in the first few episodes is perfect and they did really well to fit such action into only 12
...
episodes, but in the last episodes they introduced new characters & new intriguing events for s2 that just can't be missed.
Certain characters they created for the anime are all really interesting, but whats even more interesting is probably going to be all the new characters added in the episodes to come.
As you can see, I am writing a lot about what we will see in the future, but that's because s1 was more a basis to support for whats to come. We were introduced to this unbreakable bond between two characters, we were also introduced to inner conflicts in a Nation and we even saw about how certain traitors would go all out to win these inner conflicts.
Seeing s1 as a base for the seasons to come is a good way to see s1 where we were left with questions such as:
"Who tf is On Zoa Nebulis and why is he so annoying" or "Who was planning to kill the queen" etc...
That's why I just HAVE to watch the episodes to come (or i could just read it tbh) to see HOW the plot develops and WHAT the relationship between Alice and Iska is going to evolve.
Is this a helpful review? probably not, but I just had to write down that I completely disagree with this anime having such a low score, even though what they gave us was great.

The anime in itself isn't bad. The story is generic, but it is a Romcom & slice of Life. Also this is obviously a story about hilarious misunderstandings that should't be taken seriously. GAMERS! for example was about the same style. The story & characters are ment to be simple to read or understand. DONT TRY TO COMPARE IT TO EVANGELION (for ex.)
I laughed several times, the jokes are easy to comprehend and the characters are easy to describe. The Lore is really bad, but it has a charm of "that bad anime". Very generic, but fun.
Since this anime is still only
...
at 5 eps, I this is very incomplete, but i have to mention that the first 3 episodes were very well made: They set up the scene for the MISUNDERSTANDINGS.
I would not rate it High, nor low, because rating animes such as these ones is awfully complicated; the stories are boring, yes, but I could binge watch them any time!
If you are just looking for a fun anime, (hopefully you are reading this when the anime is over) just binge watch the whole thing!
FUN & SIMPLE, lets see the positive!
