I've started this manga out of pure curiosity because it resembled Record of Ragnarok. But I was surprised to be different in so many aspects. The character development is still as present as ever with both parties being equally well described and their motives are clear from the start. The story is also well written, with Oda Nobunaga being the big bad as the ruler of Japan and needing to see bloodshed before he dies of old age. The other non-fighters are also drawn differently to see the difference between them and their fighters but their connection is well represented.

I will write a short review since I just finished watching the anime and well...it's something. For someone like me who has watched 7DS since the manga first aired I can say the first season of the anime is kind of ok- ish. Not my cup of tea but for some out there it may be an enjoyable watch.
The visuals are good, WAY better than the last seasons and it made the watch far more enjoyable. Also the voice acting was good, the one I disliked the most was Percival's (it grew so annoying after some time). The sound tracks are good, I like the ... Sep 19, 2021

After reading the story which is not finished, there are pros and cons to it.
The pros are like it shows, the art. The artist has really done himself using full colored pages instead of grayscale ones and it shows even better the emotions of people. The story is with both pros and cons because it's entertaining, it has character development of both the main protagonist and the rest of the main crew but sometimes it feels rushed. There are indeed many scenes where the minor characters get a little bit of background story but others don't and we can only guess. At some ... |
