I'm sorry I enjoyed the first 2 seasons but this was a clip show for the majority of it (They practically break the 4th wall to tell you such). It felt as if I was just watching an ad for the character soundtrack. I felt there were a few areas that still were left open which is never good for anything that has a "graduation" in it as a graduation is supposed to leave a note of finality leading to new beginnings. Also knowing the next season doesn't have the same protagonists doesn't offer much hope on that front. I was so angry by ...

Mixed Feelings
Sorry but the series was so much much better than this "OVA" I too feel that there's parts missing to this story, though I can accept that whole heartedly knowing if I want to see the in between I can just read it. The Lazy... lazy way the animation and art direction was done is the reason I was wanting to write this. I think the art is just too obnoxiously distracting. Every scene with extras makes them appear as pink and blue ghosts no details... no expressions. It made every scene feel entirely empty, even with extras they interact with they have no distinction ...

Karin (Manga) add
Basically I recommend the manga here 1000% The story of Karin is actually quite moving and quirky from beginning to end. I actually dislike the anime because it is so much filler and the characters don't really grow as much.

In the manga you actually learn about Kenta Usui and his mother. You see the struggles and the romance that builds between him and Karin. You actually learn some history of the Maaka Vampires and even meet other families. You learn about Karin's condition of releasing blood and what it means to the vampires as well as to her future among them. It's a much ...

DearS (Anime) add
It really is a predictable storyline set up. I did find some amusement in some of the humor, but literally my favorite character is never seen on screen once (The DearS obsessed shopkeep's wife). All in all there is no real stakes. The Antagonists just stand around acting liking they are going to do something about Ren and then nothing really comes of it. When they do get to it you as the watcher never really believe they are capable of follow through. The R rated suggestions are kind of teases. I personally would not have been at all satisfied if the ecchi was ...

Mixed Feelings
My recommendation is to just stop after Vol. 1. The story was a bait and switch. I love Vol. 1 and my score would be a solid 8 if it just finished off there. As the pacing and the character progression of Tae in her desire to get her crush's attention. I found her very easy to like and want to see her in a better place. I even found Jung- woo far more developed in this opener.

Vol. 2 through 5 is a completely different story and I find it weak in comparison. I personally felt that the story between Jung-woo and Que-min was ...
