No spoilers: I will only discuss what has been covered already. I will keep this short.
Kaguya-Sama is back to bless us with great writing, hilarious moments and hijinx this spring season. As a manga reader, I can assure you that the content will improve from here on out, not like the first season is bad.
Story: 9
-The story is very simple, whoever confesses first loses and Shirogane and Shinomiya have immense pride in having the other confess first. But this season, we noticed how closer they've gotten with various events going on, like the birthday arc, the election arc etc. There has been an on
...
going narrative alongside great comedy moments in the middle.
Art: 10
-A relatively yet iconic art style and direction unlike no other. The art is standard A-1, still great but the directing and art direction this season is phenomenal and glorious for the eyes.
Sound: 9
-Lots of new tracks for this season and they are still memorable. The OP is funky and catchy, while the ED is still good, I prefer the first ED. Also, great sound direction and used at the perfect moment to capture the scene and atmosphere.
Character: 10
-One of the strongest points of the series is the character, every single one has a unique characteristic that helps identify who is who. Everyone having a unique quirk and not going out of character and VAs that give the character life is impeccable. Remove one character from the series and you will notice a downgrade in the dynamic and chemistry, while adding a new character just improves the interactions. It is easily noticeable this season on how far everyone has grown since season 1.
Enjoyment and overall: 10
-Great dose of romance and comedy makes a perfect series to just sit back, relax and enjoy. Everyone needs a series like Kaguya-sama especially during the pandemic going on. With season 2, there is a change in atmosphere for the better, it feels like things are starting to go forward, we got to know the characters so we are rooting for them plus whichever decision they decide to pursue. This season proves how this series is a comedy series that will always be remembered as one of the greatest in the anime medium. Even if the jokes do not land, but seeing how there are no shoujo cliches which might harness the chances of the main characters to confess, the series focuses on the journey to confession, rather than who will confess to whom.

Everybody's favorite red panda is back with more rage than ever.
This season, we got an introduction of a new character to the office, Anai, who freshly graduated from college and into the office. However, he seems to know more about his personal rights which adds a hilarious chemistry with the cast.
We also move a huge step forward in life, with this season focuses more on the concept of marriage plus relationships which can affect the dynamics with pretty much everyone in your surroundings.
We might have gotten less screen time in the office but we get to see more of Retsukp's personal life and her problems
...
she has to face, from arranged marriage to obtaining a new license and more.
Overall, this season manages to retain the same atmosphere as the first and is still solid, however I just wished more of the old supporting cast had more screen time and this season feels a little bit too short, wish it got more time.
Overall, a solid 9/10.
Hopefully we get too see Retsuko again next year for a season 3 if we get one.

Boogiepop (2019) is a faithful adaptation of the novel/manga and is not an original story like the one released in 2000.
Since the series had recently started airing he fourth episode and it is a new arc, it gave me the sense that the series will be focusing on different arcs and different characters, emphasizing on the fact there will be amazing world building that we will see really soon.
-The story focuses on the theme of humanity and immediately as the series start we get to see the disgusting nature of human beings and how the good characters are more 'obvious' to our eyes if
...
that makes sense.
-Soundtrack is top-notch, OP is great and ED is decent for my taste but the background music gives you a sense of tension and mysterious vibe that fits the anime really well.
-I will get straight to the point, the story seems to do something that I wish more anime wold do, like Baccano, it gives you a different perspective of the situation which adds a sense of mystery and intrigue plus life to the anime.
-The directing is really good, it has great cinematography and storyboard and captures the weirdness and absurdity really well.
-Animation and art is pretty good, it seems to be a style similar to Sora Yori or A Place Further than the Universe in English.
-Characters are not really given enough time to be attached as we still do not know who Boogiepop is or what she does exactly but the anime reassures that we are on her side alongside some other interesting characters.
-I really am enjoying it and it is too early to say the show will be a masterpiece or a disaster. The pacing might be slow or too fast at times and a little confusing so it requires immense focus. All I would say is that this series has potential to be one of the best in the mystery genre.

As someone who played the visual novel, I can say that this is a better version of the game (so far)
I will keep this short. Potential spoiler as of episode 5-6. Do not worry.
This takes place in the Beta world line where Kurisu is dead and cannot be saved (episode 24 does not exist, theoretically). We get to see Okabe going through depression as he loses the woman he loves to protect his childhood friend who he shares precious memories with.
Story-10
This is not a random story, it is hinted in the original (and the VN more vividly) about Kurisu's project in the US, we got
...
a more explored version here, and it doesn't need to rely on Okabe building a time machine rather other organizations having access to time machines since it was leaked through Kurisutina's father.
It is going to be an interesting ride to see how every character grows into something amazing and breaking out of their shells, trust me on this.
Art-9
It kept the same style which makes it Steins;Gate, but there are some inconsistencies which resulted with some cheap animation and still frames but I can deal with it, there are moments with high quality animation, as long as it will be fixed in the blu-ray.
Sound-10
Steins;Gate 0 has a stronger and stellar OST compared to the original, it features remixes and unique memorable sounds like the original to make it stand out, at least to me.
It also fits the theme perfectly well and used correctly for dramatic or sadness emotions etc the director knows what he is doing.
Character-9/10
I would say a 9-10 since we didn't see everyone develop yet but the old cast are pretty much the same and Amadeus is basically Kurisu but with less sass at times which is hilarious and nostalgia to the original.
Plus the new characters aren't bad, like Fubuki who is secretly Chie from Persona. You have Judy and Maho and the Finnish Alexis professor who are all fleshed out and we get a general sense.
Enjoyment- 10
Obviously since I finished the VN, I know what is going to happen and I am pleased since White Fox managed to fix many many errors and wrong doings from the VN and made the anime much better experience, trust my words, they replaced scenes and shortened it and kept the memorable moments. It turned out perfect with great directing skills so far.
Overall-10
So far, it managed to make me feel pretty depressed and we got to see more Amadeus and she has a personality unlike the VN.
The anime is doing a much better job and I am pleased.

"Don't judge a book by it's cover"
I am actually shocked with how this show, with the most childish art and animation style, is one of the greatest anime I had seen which tackles mature and relatable to adult struggles and in an office in particular.
We see how the main character, Retsuko, a red panda who is frustrated with how her life turned out to be and how it is like in an office where she is fed up and looks for ways to avoid that alongside stereotypical office people you will end up meeting. I am shocked Sanrio approved this and it is probably their
...
best move since Hello Kitty, I will explain why and as short as possible.
This wonderful anime has all characters which one can relate to, and we haven't seen an anime like this in a long time and its charm hooked viewers like me who wouldn't even give this a shot just by looking at it, but I just happened to see this in Netflix.
The musical number towards the end and the overall love for heavy metal is just amazing and symbolic plus memorable and this anime is on my mind after completing this, I love it so much. It also helps us, the viewers, get to understand how adult life is going to be and how much we are going to struggle when you reach that point in life. For me, I am glad it stick to this sort of art since it helped me understand that it is okay, and not everyone is a jerk, there are nice people there who are considerate like Mr. Tone and we see his nice side.
The romance between Haida and Retsuko is amazing, I like how pure Haida
and it is just beautiful at how he is the most mature anime protagonist you will see in a long time, plus Fenneko who is Retsuko's friend is also looking after them both with a nice romance with no drama or complications, just simple, mature adult love romance which is something pretty fresh into anime now.
Overall, this is one of my favorites, it is short and charming yet beautiful and had left a strong impact on me, I love that bird and gorilla so much and glad they got a lot of screen time. I will watch this again, it also has a strong re-watch value. Praying for a second season.

I actually liked the first episode of the series, thought it was going to focus on the photography aspects of love and romance, but as time goes on, I noticed something, this is basically every single cliche in romance plus comedy bundled into one, does not make it a bad thing.
I will keep this short so bare with me.
Story-5
Mislead for me from the start, I just expected something else.
Why a 5? It just seems rather cliche and seen before story, a weeb comes to Japan with her friend who so happens to be a guardian and vows to protect her, yeah I haven't seen
...
that before what new revolutionary concept, take notes J.C Staff.
But yeah, from the episodes that happened later, like the photography chase and all, it just felt anti-climatic and one sided and plus that monkey guy just seems a pain
The Rainbow Shogan joke didn't get all at all.
Art-9
Really colorful and bright plus very fluid most of the time, just some moments there are slip ups but I like the art style and constituency
Sound-8
Nice op and Ed, background music, not at all, just your typical romance anime background music.
Character-4
Cannot stand a single character other than the blond dude, you have the blond weeb who loves Samurais, the red head chick who wants to protect, a black haired stoic guy, the glasses girl (obviously she is the representative she has braids) a blond play boy and a friend seen as a animal, creative bunch of people.
Enjoyment-5
I do not know what to feel, it just got old in a few episodes and the amount of cliches is starting to bother me as there is nothing new being introduced.
6 overall.
I expected something much more, but it turns out to be your everyday typical romance anime, I had seen enough in the past and I want something to stand out and introduce new elements, at least this is a relaxing watch.
Rainbow Shogun got old the second weeb said it.

Proofread and has no spoilers. I will give a review of both the first and second half because both are vastly different in quality.
As someone who partially read the manga and finished the anime, I just want to say that in my defense, The series has 12 episodes and I loved the first 6 but it lost its charm during the second half (episode 10 is the only good episode in the second half)
Anyway, I will try to keep this short.
7 for story
This is not really a spoiler, it is just how you view this anime, this is a romance plus achieving goals/ ambitions
...
type of story, and it did it really well with great story telling and narrative.
However, why did I give it a 7 and not higher, some character interactions are pretty weak and drags on for a while and some unnecessary drama with sub characters getting a pretty okay character development.
10 for Art
Come on, it's WIT. The background and animation is fluid and works well with good directing to make the scenery look outstanding.
9 for sound
Intro and Ending are catchy and memorable and iconic.
Background music or OST gets annoying after a while on repeat.
6 for character
Other than Yuuta and the blonde chick at the restaurant and the managers friend from University, all other side characters are pretty dull and annoying and sometimes doing actions that are out of their characters like Drama Queen Haruka.
Side characters keep getting introduced and never mentioned again countless times. Akira friends show up so often and never did we get to learn their names or if Akira likes them or not. We have no clue, it isn't Detective Conan for crying out loud.
Weakest aspect in my opinion with unknown side character resolves, only the main characters get some development.
I do not even know if Akira's dad is alive or not.
Enjoyment, I will give it a 7 overall. First half gets a 9 and second half gets a 5.
With these flaws mostly noticeable during the second half, it made me cringe so many times and I ended up forcing myself. For the first half, time went by so fast and I absolutely loved it. As if they were two separate stories.
Overall, I will give it a 7
It is not bad in the end, the ending is pretty good and it feels rushed at times but the atmosphere and the story and the sound plus outstanding WIT art style made the anime enjoyable, even if the story and characters might fall flat at times, it was a enjoyable watch. Re watchable, I don't think so, probably I will watch this again up till episode 6 and end it there.

Honestly, this manga made me laugh so much to the point that my stomach hurts, heck I have the strips saved on my phone just because of how absurd and hilarious it is.
The amount of Japanese and Western parody such as Annie, Michael Jackson and Disney Classics such as Aladdin involved reaches out to not just Japanese audiences, but to the rest of the globe (basically not a niche). However, there are some puns in which Japanese might only get and require some Reddit guide but when you get the joke or not, you'll laugh due to the comedy genius and meta humor.
This is a
...
fresh piece of comedic art alongside being downright hilarious and random and deserves a read as you will not regret it.
No story whatsoever.
No character development (does not need it as it will ruin the whole series in my opinion).
I do like the main characters and how well they contrast and stay true to themselves with running gag not being repeated and re-used through out the whole manga.
It is a short read and you can finish a volume in 5-10 minutes without laughing. Legit took me an hour due to how hysterical I find it to be.

I am going to keep this short as how this prologue made me wish I have short term memory. Here we go:
The visual novel is pretty good, I am around 35 hours deep into the game and my god how terrible this is.
For starters, this is heavily rushed, like doing a college thesis 2 hours before its due. Episode 0 is supposed to give you a general impression of the series and what to expect, I will expect to see a game over 50 hours long composed in 18 episodes which is 23 x 18= 414 minutes of rushed content.
Nothing is explained properly but minimal
...
plot holes at the least (my only praise)
Do not get me started on the voice acting, RIP headphone users more like it. It sounds like the VAs recorded their scenes through an iPhone messenger or Skype. It sounds really cheap.
I do admit, for a crowd funded project, the animation is pretty decent in the matter. I expected less with the art and the OST is pretty good as it is re used from the VN. (Not a bad thing)
Other than that. This is a mess and feels absolutely random at most.
Only thing you will get is that this is during the Nazi era.
It is as if you are caught in a web of lies but decide to lie more lol a terrible example.
Characters. No comment.
Plus, I think it is too early to judge but since I wrote this much of a review then may as well submit it.

One of the most underrated comedy anime in my opinion.
No spoilers, I promise.
Story- 9
Honestly there is no story, but that is the point and along with self aware jokes that does not drag and not being so repetitive and when you are linking this to the story which is the MC (Kusuo's everyday life with psychic powers) is expected of a comedy anime.
Art: 8
Could be better for a 2016 anime, but does not ruin the overall experience, heck makes it funnier.
...
Sound: 9
I actually like the soundtrack of the anime it is memorable (shocking tbh)
Just repetitive.
Characters:10
My god they are all so funny. Literally I am crying of laughter because everyone has such a perfect chemistry. (Only one character *cough you know who *cough* annoys the crap out of me).
Enjoyment: 10
Re watchable as hell. You can watch is as many times as you want and still not get bored. Although some segments might be a pain but still not bad. Also, all memorable.
Overall: 9
Give it a watch! You will not regret it. As long as you do not take this anime seriously anyone will enjoy this as much as I did.
