Both are positive anime with a lot of beautiful and likeable characters + it's both about a all-boys school with shounen-ai. It's both containing comedy, romance and a little bit of angst (but telling what would be spoilers for both of the series!).

Kurosaki Ichigo and Seiji Sawamura are very similar characters! Both of them is orange-haired and into fighting until they meet a girl and start to showing their soft sides and in that way get to know new friends (but in Bleach the girl are not on love with him). Both of these books is about school girls who feels very bad. While Confidential Confessions is about many girls with different problems (rape, stalkers, bullies, drugs, suicide thoughts...) Life is about one girl who have a lot of problems! The reality in both seems very harsh and dark, but also contains episodes of happiness, courage and friendship. It also shows how people can still carry on in very hard times.

...then you might like Tokyo Mew Mew add

Karin and Ichigo are really, really alike... They act and look the same. Ichigo tries to hide the fact that she is a heroine and Karin tries to hide that she is a "vampire", that plot is the same for both anime. If you like Karin as a character you should see Tokyo Mew Mew as well!
