Story: 6/10
Usually when we start a manga the first impression is usually the one we use when we decide if we want to continue reading or not. For me and mushishi that was not the case. I read the first two books and felt completely confused, so I continued reading. after about the 4th book I understood everything and the story started getting interesting (why wouldn't it be? it's about a guy who roams the country in search of scary insect thingys (mushi) and tries to cure people of them, now that's dang interesting). But once I finished the 4th book I noticed a
...
repetitive storyline. He goes to one village, cures it of a "disease" and quickly runs off to save another village. The other repetitive part was that the diseases were all related to people's eyes, hands/feet, and ears. There wasn't anything related to any other part of the body that could provide a change from the basic routine.
Art: 8/10
The artist really knows how to weird it out. He drew the weirdest things to use for mushi which would add to the effect of mystification. The people that were drawn didn't look anything near inviting to look at, but it added to the effect of the hardships they face with the mushi.
Characters: 7/10
Ginko is really cool in the fact that he is really calm and it sometimes feels like he isn't human because he knows all of this about mushi, and because of the setting and the events. The negative part about the other characters is that compared to Ginko, they are either really superior, or really inferior, there is rarely a good balance between the power characters have over one another and/or the intelligence of the characters.
Enjoyment: 7/10
I enjoyed this manga for books/chapters 5-7. Then I got bored but for some reason kept on reading it. Probably cause I didn't have anything else atm. But there's something about this manga that kinda makes people want to read it till the end, where there's nothing left to read.

After many recommendations and (forceful) encouragements from my friend to watch Higashi no Eden, I finally gave in and decided it was worth watching. At first, like with all anime, I felt that it was too boring and that I should drop it, which is what I ended up doing. after a while I came back to this anime to finish watching and by the 10th episode I was like "why the f*** did I not watch everything" but once I finished it I then thought of it with less fondness due to the ending, which I would like for the creator of the anime
...
to expand upon, since I have no intention of watching the two movies.
Story: 7/10
The first episode was the best starter to any anime I have ever seen which made me want to see more, even though the next episodes made it boring. As I advanced through the episodes I noted that there wasn't much action for the people that like action anime, and that there wasn't enough emotions for those who like meaningful anime with emotions. However, after understanding the problem behind the phones it made me curious how someone could make Japan a perfect country using money.
Art: 8/10
There are those animators that draw fat little people that just make me want to turn off the computer and never turn it on again, and there are those that make every single person look perfect with sharp cheekbones and other features. This anime has it balanced, meaning that the main characters were (of course) close to perfect since we have to see them every episode, while the ordinary person looked like an average person that is just living his life.
Sound: 7/10
I'm really picky about sound and I would say that the intro track was nice and made me want to hear it again and again, as opposed to the anime I'm currently watching. I gave it a six because I'm a music freak and fellow musicians might understand my partial disappointment with the songs and melodies chosen for this anime.
Characters: 5/10
I seriously didn't get what was up with this guy, he came up with a great idea for an anime, and then he gave it two people without a personality. For example, at the beginning, when Yuki meets Takizawa, she acts like a complete robot, doing everything he asks her to do, and then somehow falls in love with him, even though all evidence is to suggest that he is a terrorist. Takizawa on the other hand would randomly yell out random phrases whenever he was surprised, and when half the country depended on him to do the right thing, he just says, nah, I'll just release these 2,000+ people into the streets of Japan so that they try and find me. and possibly kill me and thousands of innocent citizens. I don't know if that argument sounds rational, but that was my impression of him.
Overall: 6/10
Even though I really loved the concept of the story, the anime was still really boring due to the lack of activity, in the first few episodes while the guy is trying to figure things out. Those first few just ruined it all for me. and later, closer to the end, the whole story just ended too suddenly, in only a few episodes the whole conflict was resolved before I could even understand what the conflict was (well, I did understand it enough ATM, I'm not THAT retarded).
To sum up, if you don't have any anime you really want to watch, or you just want something to pass the time, this is a good anime for that, but if you want to sit down and plow through the episodes, I wouldn't exactly recommend this.

Clover is one of the worst manga i've read (i've read more manga than my lists say, cause i don't remember what they're called), its practically got no story cause theres a guy trying to get a girl to this one place only she knows of, but in the end both of them get sent back to their starting points and the girl starts thinking about other people like her and how they survived. to add on, there would be pages covered in black with some cursive on it (presumably the lyrics of a song) that just distracted from the story and made the manga
...
even harder to read. and the pages that do have stuff on them are about 95% empy space that has nothing on it and makes it even harder to read. all in all, i wouldn't recommend it.

Studio Ghibli is the place i go for anime because i know what i'll get from them, either the anime i see from them is crap, or it is amazing, (more often than not amazing) but this particular anime surprised me by being in the middle and leaving me confused. I like this anime because it depicts a lot of peoples lives, when they have or had to decide what to do with their life and what they're going to do about it.
The girl decides to write a story and often says that the story is "corny" which coincidentially sums up the whole anime.
...
I found as i watched it there were some really "corny" moments and moments where i truly felt that what she said was true, for example there was the moment where she was arguing with a guy and what he said, how he said it, his voice, and his actions made it all sound like it was either a joke to him, or like what he said wasn't geniune. On the other hand there were moments when the girl realises that her friend is persuing his dreams while she is still reading books and being a "wierdo". This motivates her in her future.
What i also like in this anime is the people, the junior high students act like average junior high students, agressive, hyper, gossipy, and prefer to stay in their own groups. But the older generation is calm, peaceful, and likeable. It is this group of people that bring out the kind girl in Shizuki that we so rarely see when she's at school or with friends. The main reason why i mention this is because it depicts how we all act, we love our grandparents and we are usually crazy and hostile with schoolmates. its like there is two of us, one for friends, one for family, and one for grandparents.
Lastly, we all at some point are deciding what to do with our lives, where to go, where to work, where to live... and everytime the question stumps us and some of us think of other people and try to see how those people got through, yet we don't actually know. this anime shows us that our dream could come true, we could go to the moon, or mars, we could invent some environmentally friendly lifestyle, if we had the education, the will, and if we put in some hard work.
All in all, i recommend this anime to people, but i'm warning you, it is a bit corny round the edges.
(wow that was a corny review lolz)

I don't get it. Haters are all just complaining about the main character's terribly fat animation design, and the cliched shounen themes present in this anime. While, fanboys are all just about the action. For one, this anime just seems like another copy of Guilty Crown, however, there are significant differences.. For example.. The two main protagonists totally aren't both just losers who complain about everyone...and Kaji, Yuki totally isn't the voice act(or/ress; I'm not sure) of both Arita, Haruyuki, and Ouma, Shu... And, the plot isn't totally garbage. .. Oh and there's actions scenes, which isn't done better in mostly mecha anime. So, yep.
Great
...
Animation and Sound, it seems like the director spent the money mostly on the visuals. And that's cool with me, because I base 50% of my opinions of an anime on those traits.
Since adapting manga is a very good way to make money, it's not like Accel World was just a way to gain more money or anything. In contrary to all the opinions I've said, I think my own series is outstanding because, after all, everything the producer of low value mecha anime/mangas do is a masterpiece.

After elegantly spectating the complex maze which subsides in the harem genre, meeting a reverse-harem anime immediately triggered an alarm in my head. The usual problem with the Harem Genre is the stupidity which the main male protagonist simultaneously seems to preveal. Just when you think it can't get any frustrating, it just gets worse.
The Reverse-Harem Genre seems like it could be just as bad. However, assuming is also considerably naive.
The plot of Arcana Famiglia resides in a very unique setting, where seemingly superantural themes are just being thrown randomly. Actually, it is. The central plot is the result of anime trying to adapt
...
other cultures, and in this case, the Italians. The story centers around a Female named Felicita, who is a fine piece of 'ss by herself, and the plot basically sets up an indirect reverse harem of many guys chasing after her. It's more enjoyable than expected due to all the characters' foolish actions...
ahh running out of time so...
Characters create a fine atmosphere, aren't as frustrating as most harems. Developments are bond to happen between characters.
This anime should be listed as a slice of life, because that's all that's been happening. I recommend this to be picked up by romance/harem fans.

i'll start off by saying that its not an anime i would recommend watching again. i personally liked the action parts of it, but the emotional part of the movie was pretty boring/uneventfull compared to the action. there are those movies that have emotions mixed in with action, well this one keeps them seperate and makes it boring.
other than that everything is exceptional compared to other anime, but as i said, i didn't really like it that much

i seriously would give this a 9.4-9.7 because its really fun to watch over and over again yet its confusing to watch at first and therefore takes multiple times untill you completely understand it.
the problem with the story is (as said previously) the fact that it is confusing at some points. the story is very romantic at some points and at others its violent/rushed so there's definetely variety in it.
the art is amazing, the characters faces aren't rounded with a dumb-founded look on them which sometimes annoys. especially cool are the scenes where there's water because the water looks magical even though in reality
...
its normal water.
the soundtracks to this anime are the thing that i like the most, i tried learning to play the theme on piano, but i can't play piano so didn't work out well. but the theme is... i don't know, cool, calm, peaceful. i don't know how else to describe the music here.
characters are all good in this anime, there's enough of good and evil, except for parts where it appears that the character has changed into a different person altogether which makes those certain scenes stand out as the not-so-great ones.
overall i recommend this to people who like peaceful-ish anime.
(tons of people say that my reviews are horrible, and i'll admit, they are, so can you help and comment on my profile and tell me how i can improve? it'll help a lot, thanks!)

k so, i'll make this review short and simple. the only reason i gave it an 8 overall is cause i recently watched anime that are better than this one. This is a REALLY good anime for people who haven't seen it before or haven't seen Karugashi no Arrietty (The Secret World of Arrietty)
Other than that I recommend you watch it if you like animes that are made beautifully. Also, if you've already watched Karugashi No Arrietty then i guess you could give it a try, but i don't see the point since Arrietty is a much better version of this.
NOW, I HAVE LOST
...
MAH LAZINESS AND WILL PROCEED TO WRITE THE LONG AND BORING REVIEW:
The Storyling was okay because theres this girl that find a forest spirit and hangs out with him, just summarized the whole story for you. The story itself is nothing special, i just like the emotion and meaning behind the story.
The graphics, art, and the way they display the emotions is good, not the best, but i can't say i'm complaining about the cat-bus thingy. :)
Same with the sound, there isn't a memorable in it. so if you hear it somewhere, you won't be like "That was from Totoro!" ya, not gonna happen.
The characters were the best part, the girls have tons of spirit and energy and are pretty entertaining to watch as they try and comprehend what is going on, my personal favorite is Totoro himself because he doesn't say much, but if you pay attention, you'll see what you need to hear.
Enjoyment was okay, i only gave it an 8 cause of the cat-bus thingy (my fav thing)
Overall its a 7 even though there's more eights and nines, i would say it deserves a 7.6

So first i'll start off with saying that this is a good movie.anime for anybody (except horror-lovers) due to its suspensefulness, action, magic, mystery, and other cool stuff i won't spoil.
I decided the story gets a 9 because the movie has tons of cool moments, the only reason why i took off one was cause there were moments where all the people did was talk about something that already happened and ur just sitting here being like "i get it, get on with the story" other than that it was perfect.
The art and sound are my two favorite things, the vocals at the "theme" fit
...
perfectly with the melody of the instruments and the instruments in the background in certain scenes convey the story without need of a screen. i don't understand japanese, and i watched it in japanesse with subtitles, but half the time i was off 5 feet away just listening to the music and in the end i was able to retell my friend the story perfectly.
The characters are really cool, especially Shiro. He's the boy that was almost killed in the previous holy grail wars (watch fate zero) and was rescued by a man who later raised him as his own, and because this man saved him, Shiro wanted to save somebody, or more exactly, everybody. He knows he can't because *spoiler* and in the end he finds out many important things about himself and his family. The other characters aren't really as meaningful as Shiro, but some you might want to watch are Archer, Saber and Rin
Theres tons of aciton and tons of meaning, overall i loved it! i recommend it to all!!!!
