Similarities: Both have the same basic plot where it involves high schoolers doing a man's job where it puts the grown ups to shame, it also has the same trigger happy female character and a sweet female character. Romance wise both MC doesn't have any romantic direction at all. However, the setting where different cu'z Rail Wars was set in some alternate place where Japan's Railroad system remains public, while in Amaburi it was set in some theme park where fantasy was the main theme. Also, in Rail Wars, the MC has a harem competing for its affection, while the MC in Amaburi doesn't have a harem to begin with, in fact there is no competition between the two main females character's for the MC's affection.

Well, it is pretty obvious that this anime has both harem, school and Giant monsters in it and I need not explain further, except in one anime the guy's harem focuses on two girls, while the guy's harem in another anime is more on his sister. Also when it comes to setting the guy in the other anime is the only thorn among the roses, while the guy in the other anime is a rock on a hard place. Also, one was more on the sci-fi side while the other is more on magic.

What the 2 have in common: They both have the same harem genre, where it involves 1 obnoxious guy and 4 cuties in a club room where for the most part the 2 have nearly the same plot, except for some minor modifications. However one relies on a quasi-supernatural and comedy, while the other has romance, also their were some difference with the character setting but even so, the harem's relationship with the guy is still the same.

Similarities: Both of the exhibits a sotacon complex ( older girl to younger man). Both Feamle lead have special abilities, but has to relay on the male lead for their addtional abilities. And, aside from pant shots there were also nipple shots as well in both animes. Disimilarites: The addtional genre in "Kanokon" is comedy and superntural, while in "Freezing" the addtional genre is Action, sci-fi and shojo. The main female lead in "Freezing" trys to avoid his male lead at frist, while in "Kanokon" it is the feamle lead who steps into the male lead's life. The female lead in "Kanokon" is a tease, while the female lead in freezing is more of a conservative type.

Similarities: Both are a reverse harem. Both female leads functions more like a 2nd lead or a support lead than a primary lead. Both animes are Bishonens fan service. Dissimilarity: One is a full length anime while the other is a short ONA. The female lead in YNSH really has romantic feelings for one of the male leads, while in SS, the female lead has romantic feelings for all the 12 male leads. In YNSH there were only 4 Bishonens , while in SS there were 12. And, in YNSH, the female lead is quiet a handful for the 4 Bishonens, while in SS the female lead is game for the 12 bishonens.

Similarities: Both were tagged as supernatural,Vampire,Romance and harem. Both involves the lead male character who is human and a lead female character who is a beautiful vampire who's fond of the latter's blood. Both were in a school setting. Dissimilarities: One has to protect his human friend (or living blood bank) from other yokais (Rosario + Vampire), while the other has a human friend (or her live blood bank) who has to protect her secrets of being a vampire ( and I'm referring to the lead female character) from getting out (Fortune Arterial). Though both were tagged as harem, in "Rosario + Vampire" the harem really does have romantic feelings for the lead male character, while in "Fortune Arterial" the members of the harem are more in the friend zone with the lead male character and only the lead female character has romantic feelings for the said male character. One is more of encchi and comedy , while the other is more into supernatural and romance.

Similarities: Both lead male character's (Minato and Muneakira) first kiss involves one of his harems falling from the sky (Musubi and Jubei). Both animes features a lot of panty shots and boobies. Both lead male characters always has someone in his harem that he fears the most. In both animes the one that is closes (Jubei and Musubi) to the male character is the most naive and ditsy, but had the most potential of all the harems. There were also the youngest in the harem that makes the male character look like a lolicon. In both animes it is the ladies that does the fighting for their lead male characters even if they are reluctant to allow them to (the ladies). Also, in both animes the ladies reach their full potential when kissed by the male character. Dissimilarities: One has more women in his harem that the other, however, one has more partial boob exposure and full panty shot that the other. One has caught 2 girls falling from the sky, while the other has only caught only 1. One has to watch out for 3 of the girls from his harem that he fears, while the other only has to watch out for the 1 who is the most jealous and his lady lady too (who is not part of his harem). One has a member of the harem which the lead male character is not sure he can trust, while the other one has a member of his harem who was a dude before, but turned babe which the male character was reluctant to kiss at first. One has 2 girls in the harem who were very young, one is flat chested but smart, the other is well endowed but stupid, while in the other anime the male character has only one who is very very young, adorable to all but very powerful.

Similarities: Both were tagged as Harem and romance. Both lead male characters got into the harem by accident. Both harems often give their male characters a headache or other bodily sufferings that they received throughout the season of the anime they belong to. . Both lead male characters are not doing very well with their studies (not making it to "Tokyo University" also qualifies). Both lead male characters has one female member of his harem whom they feared the most. Dissimilarities: In one anime it is the harem who came to the lead male character, while in the other anime it is the lead male character who came to the harem.......by accident. One male character (Keitaro Urashima) is a hopeless romantic (not until Naru declared her love for him) , an accidental (and unlucky) perv and a wuss, while the other one, Chitose Hitotose is a bad ass and a laid back loner. Though both animes have a "Harem" tag, in "Love Hina" Keitaro is a (reluctant) lolicon* co'z he's older than the women in his harem (according to info there is a 2 year age difference between Naru and Kietaro), while in "Happy Lesson," the harem was mostly a bunch of sotacon* ladies who have the heart (or hots) to help Chitose. *it maybe a bit off but, I just like using the terms. In "Love Hina" Keitaro Urashima ended up with Naru Narusegawa (which is obvious), while in "Happy Lesson" though Chitose may have kissed Mutsuki Ichimomji ,the story it still left unanswered as to who Chitose really likews among the 5 women who were in wedding gowns (final OVA).

Both lead male characters were once caught by mistake of being on top of their lead female characters. Dissimilarities: One is the sister of the lead male character while the other just pop out of no where (I just like saying that) and just appeared in front of the lead male character . One is a comedy/ harem while the other is a comedy/harem/supernatural/ with a bit of drama. The lead female character in "Oreimo" is a otaku and a b**** while the other lead female character in "Kannagi" is a Prima donna and a fumbling deity. Finally, If I can have it my way,I would really like whoop Kirino's ass for being a bitchy brat against his brother and I would love to hit Nagi's head with a rolled up newspaper.

Both do have either a shallow or unstable plot. Both characters (Souta and Ika) never intended to work in the restaurant in the first place. And both have little bit lesbian that goes in it. Dissimilarities: One was set in the suburbs of Hokkaido while the other one was set on a beach somewhere in the southern part of Japan (In Okinawa... I think). One has 2 characters that no one in the restaurant would wanna mess with ( Jun and Shirafuji) while the other only has one characters which one should beware about (Chizuru). in one has a main character who is so naive about living on land which always get's her in trouble, while the other the main character always gets his face whoop by an androphobic co-worker. And in one, the character has super abilities, while the other has super tolerance for his sisters and teasing from his co-workers.

Dissimilarities: The other anime involves a trio of perverted minded ladies (except for Suzu), while this one, has the female character who fantasies about having a lot of Fuck Buddies. In the other anime the male character is too reluctant to go along with his sempai's perverted thoughts, while, this one has both the male and the female characters whom are having horny thoughts with each other, the bad part though, is that both parties were reluctant to express it. There are no banging , near bang or kissing scene that occur in the other anime, but this one has a couple of near bang and kissing into it.

Both female characters are brave in the face of evil. both female characters get to kick the butts of their male characters Both anime deals with the supernatural. Dissimilarities One anime is set in the early 20th century while the other is set towards the new millennium. One female character is herself a half spirit and half human, while the other is a full human. One look good in a yukata while the other has a bad sense of fashion (except in a school uniform). However, Zakuro doesn't seem to look good naked, while Maya is way hot in the nude (even with the towel on). One female character has her own supernatural powers to fight evil, while the other rely on her associates, charms (her father's notebook), weapons (crossbow) and her bodyguards that she doesn't know she has, for help. One didn't develop any feelings towards her male character until the last 3 episodes of the anime, while the other one already has feelings for her male character, though she would display some hostilities towards him.

Though both were classified as ecchi, both anime has the potential to be more of a hentai than ecchi. Dissimilarity: One anime is a comedy, while the other is drama. The male character in "Yosuga no Sora" is actually related to the female cahracter, while the other one in "Kiss X Sis" the male character is not related to his sisters. In "Yosuga no Sora" the male character was able to bang other female characters (though, not fully shown), while in "Kiss X Sis" the male character nearly bangs one of his sister.
