Both are amusing manga by the same author, Nishimori Hiryuki. His characteristics are very distinctable in these manga: -Well-written comedy -Characters that you slowly, out of nowhere, start to adore -Smooth mood shifts -An occasional cute art-style If you have read one of these manga and enjoyed it, chances are that one of the reasons is stated above and you'll be sure to find it in the other manga as well. Hope you try 'em out, have fun!

While these manga are very different from each other in a lot of ways, the plots are both very similar in the fact that both protagonists go through a supernatural change that causes them to get a harem. The comedy is also very similar and pretty good.

Calm and silent main characters traversing a dark fantasy world with unique monsters and beasts. Soothing and harmonious sound-design. Exceptional events with slow and cool story telling. Edge-of-your-seat moments with fascinating climaxes. This is probably the best way to summarize these amazing and extraordinary anime.

"Goblin Slayer" and "Redo Of a Healer" are both non-isekai, fantasy anime who follow a protagonist that has gone through a bunch of psychological horror and trauma, on their quest of making their traumatizers suffer the most gruelling pain. Both of these anime contain a ton of gore and adult shit and genuinely have a lot of controversy surrounding them, since a lot of questionable things happen in both of these anime. While most aspects like animation, side characters, dialogue and storytelling, are average in both shows. What really make these anime shine is their vengeful protagonists with their twisted sanities.

Supernatural beings that infect several amounts of people and turn them into monsters reflecting their inner most desire? A bunch of realistic and intriguing characters with actual good dialogue? A depressed MC that goes through a great deal of psychological horror and character development? Unnerving and disturbing horror that'll make you question human desire? Both of these series answer the questions above with a fat 𝙔𝙀𝙎. If you took joy in one of these series than I highly recommend you check out the other. Even if you didn't, I still recommend you check out the other since there are major differences in story telling for example. Genre is another example; Sweet Home is more drama thriller while Jagaaaaaan is more of psychological and action series.

Both of these series follow a post-apocalyptic world after a majority of humanity turned into despicable monsters reflecting their own desires. Another thing in common is the wimpy protagonist who goes through heaps of character development. Lastly, both of these series have a rather slow start and really start to shine later on in their respective stories.
