Major SPOILERS ahead-
With this adaptation, I have finally lost all interest in the Fate series. I am fed up of being disappointed again and again. The movie might have the best animation ever and ost produced by Kajiura Yuki herself, still the lack of good characters can turn any show bad. There was a time when I had finished Fate/zero , I had declared it the best anime ever. Since then, it's just been disappointment.
After watching UBW, I was ready beforehand for the show to have no good characters. Hence I focused more on the plot. So I watched the first two movie. And
...
honestly, they were pretty decent as they had good story building and the overall plot is great. Then we come to the third movie. Here, the first half was very much predictable and not a lot happened. Then we had some good fights. It goes without saying that it easily has one of the greatest animation ever (Ufotable as usual). Rider vs Saber Alter was amazing (tho I'd say Saber Alter vs Berserker in Movie 2 was slightly better). And then we had....... Rin Tohsaka. Rin has a huge fanbase behind her, but to me, she's always been annoying. Her conversation with Sakura annoyed me to no end. Anyways, after that we had Emiya vs Kirei. There was Emiya vs Archer in UBW that had some of the most pointless dialogues ever in anime. This time those pointless dialogue were used here. Dialogues make a fight amazing. My mind goes back to Gintoki vs Takasugi in Gintama. Or even in Fate/zero, Kiritsugu vs Kirei - the dialogue elevated the quality of the fight. Here.... We have Emiya. Arguably the most boring and bland anime protagonist whose plot Armor never runs out of gas. He has a plot Armor heavier than any shounen anime protagonist. Anyways, the entire plot development that happened till now went haywire after the Rider vs Saber fight. Things just happened for no reason. Earlier, Kirei had killed the ugly bastard (old man Matou). But guess what, he was still alive. Sakura had killed Kirei. But guess what, he was also alive. Then what the hell was even the point of showing that? Nobody cares. For the first two movies, there was a certain True Assassin roaming around killing other Servants. We don't even get to know who or what he is. Poor guy was just a filler character, I guess. The music in the anime is given by Kajiura Yuki, who is my favourite composer. Still, the anime lacked good music in the first half - which was compensated in the second half that had some really good ost.....
All in all, it was a disappointing watch for me. I'd definitely give it points for animation and soundtrack and a decent first half. But still, this movie just made the series boring for me.
7/10.

Honestly, read this if you want to be dissapointed. The first few chapters of the manga are pretty damn good and it seems like the story will build up into something amazing. But as the story progresses, the quality just declines until nothing is left. Almost every chapter ends on a point where it's like - "Ho something big is about to happen" and in the next chapter it turns into some sort of bullshit. After writing all kind of stupidity, the mangaka decides - This is not enough. Need to add some other sort of shit in here. And thus the ultimate bullshit ending
...
is produced. All the relationship, character development up to that point are thrown in the bin and Japanese love for blonde girls bloom. The ending is so bad, I regret reading the manga. The mangaka used all the permutation-combination and somehow ended with the most predictable and stupid end possible. When a mystery manga becomes predictable to this extent, you know it's no use reading it. All in all it was not a good manga. The art is great and so are the first few chapters but everything after that is just.... Dissapointing.

" I need to apologise to my friend for saying bad words to her"- says a girl while sitting in front of a corpse with intestines hanging out and teeth completely smashed in. Lmao. I am going to keep this review short . A little spoilers ahead (Maybe).
Ok. Is this show a complete clusterfuck of plot and characters? Definitely. Did I enjoy watching this show? Definitely. The story is about a bunch of kids who get transported to a haunted school and all hell breaks loose. Now, how and why they got transported doesn't matter. Coz it's a "horror" anime and we don't talk about
...
that here.... What follows is a gruesome turn of events with kids getting smashed to bits and pieces, kids getting stabbed in the eye, kids getting their tongues cut off again and again and again. And Intestines. A lot of intestines.
The genre of the show is horror but honestly I didn't feel any of that shit while watching it. If I had to name the genre, I'd say - Gore, Comedy. Sometimes the death scenes are so funny- there is literally a scene where a box falls over a girl and her head comes off. Now how tf do you do that... As for the characters, what do you expect from a 4 episode long "horror" anime. Nothing much to say about anything else in the show. Obvious turn of events, obvious plot twists and an obvious ending. (But , the OP is good.)
Having said all this doesn't undermine the fact that I enjoyed watching the show. I'd not recommend this to people if they want quality content but if you want a little bit of entertainment and can handle all the gore , then go ahead.
Overall 5/10 - Solely based on enjoyment

Ugh.... Such a waste. Such a waste.
I have watched both the 2006 Fate series and Fate zero before this. And, the epic show that Fate zero was, I had similar hopes for this one as well. Also, I had heard a lot about how this show was 100 times better than its 2006 companion.
This show has, what I can recall as one of the best action animation sequence I have ever seen in anime. Ufotable clearly made its name through Fate series and it's visible. Also, the soundtrack of the anime is also amazing. From the song that plays in during the battle scenes to
...
its opening and endings are all really good. So we can clearly see that in the department of aesthetics, this anime clearly leaves behind its 2006 counterpart (I will not compare this to Zero coz that would be a sin). The plot of the show is pretty decent. Even though there were few subplots that felt stupid, overall the plot of the show was good.So where did we go wrong?
That brings us to the characters of the show. Ugh. What an absolute mess. I don't know what happened to the writers of the show that this horrifying mess was presented to us. This was the department where zero excelled and made its own name. And this is the department where UBW went down. Even the characters that seemed decent and enjoyable in the 2006 version felt downright annoying in this series. 2006 series had Rin Tohsaka as a side character. I was looking forward to see her as a protagonist but man she turned out to be the MOST annoying FMC I have seen in recent times. Best tsundere, my ass. She even made me question my love for Tsundere female characters. Then we have our MC Emiya shirou. Another one of those annoying MC's. Well , he was annoying in the 2006 series as well so I thought how much more can he be. Lo and behold he exceeded my expectations and became even more annoying. One of the absolute downfall of the series was his pointless , useless long-ass chatter with Archer. If you take your mind off from the amazing battle sequence for a moment and actually pay attention to what they talked about, it would seem as the most stupid thing you have ever heard. Saber, who was a great character in Zero and a fairly decent FMC in 2006 adaptation was absolutely wasted as a character here. Gilgamesh seemed to be the only character who was better from the 2006 version but having seen him in Zero, even he was disappointing. I don't what the hell they did with Illiyasveil and why they did that. No other character was able to leave a good impression.
Overall, the aesthetics of the show are top tier and it has a fairly decent plot. The characters are ass level. Me personally, I will keep this on the same level as it's 2006 counterpart and not even dare to compare to Fate/Zero.

I watched the movie when I was new to anime. I had watched around 10 anime and was amazed by how good this movie was. It's been over a year now and I have watched over 300 anime( I watch a lot of anime). As time passed by and I thought back at the anime I believed the show to be a bit overrated and not that good. So I rewatched it yesterday....
And I remembered how I actually felt when I watched the movie first time. I was astounded by the sheer epicness of the movie. Each and every aspect of the movie has been
...
handled beautifully. The art and animation is so majestic, it feels like the whole scenario is happening in real. The immersive realism of this show makes you forget you are watching an anime.
Before rewatching the movie I remembered the anime to have a really good ost( Kataware doki) and a couple good songs. After rewatching it I can say the movie has a number of epic ost that again immerse you in the epicness of the show. And yes, Kataware doki is as beautiful as ever.
The plot of the show is beautiful and the characters so amazing, I can safely say it's one of the greatest romantic movies I have seen in my life. The depiction of characters in the show is done in such a way that you get connected to the characters in just 10 minutes into the movie.
Today a lot of people are calling your name overrated as I did before. I think they need to re-watch it to relive the experience of the movie.
A show is called a classic if it stands the test of time and gives you the same pleasure you got while watching it for the first time years ago. And having rewatched the movie I can safely say that Your name is an absolute classic.

Ok so I have finally caught up with the show ( after dropping it a number of times in between). Seeing the hype currently created by the show, I would like to talk about it. It wouldn't be long so let's start.
Plot 8/10 . Art 9/10 . Sound 8/10.
Out of the 4 basic aspect of an anime, Black clover excels in 3 of them. The plot is really good (though it sometimes feel like a basic shounen plot) as it's based on the manga by the same name which is also great. Animation of the show is top tier and the soundtracks ( especially
...
op) are amazing.
Character 1/10
That brings us to the 4th aspect of anime, that is characters. The characters in the show are absolutely ridiculous. First of all , I don't understand how much the show is gonna copy Naruto. You have got Asta for Naruto, Yuno for Sasuke, Noelle for Sakura, Yami for Kakashi , Wizard king for Third Hokage , Maereoleona for Tsunade etc... The entire Black bulls is full of the most annoying characters in the world who have been given the most cringe dialogues and cringe scenes in anime history. Voice acting for some characters (Yami) is good while for others , it's pathetic (Magna). The show arguably has the worst bunch of characters in shounen anime.
Overall 6/10
The overall score gets very much affected by the characters. Another problem in the show is that it's rushed( mainly the latter part). The whole reincarnation arc was rushed so much it was difficult to understand what the hell was going on. Even the final villain boss was not given any screen time.
If the characters improve over time the show has the potential to become amazing but currently it's not.

Let's begin....
When I watched the first episode of the show, it was pretty entertaining. I enjoyed it and thought that this show had the potential to be the best rom com of the year. As it turned out it wasn't anywhere near the best. Tbh it was pretty bleak.
Plot 5/10
The plot of the show is your general harem anime plot with introduction of a new concept of Rental girlfriend. The overall story is decent but the subplots are weak, pointless and sometimes pretty annoying. Comedy in the show is on-spot.
Art and sound 8/10
The art style and animation are really good. But the best
...
part of the show in my opinion is it's soundtrack. The soundtracks used are different than usual and all the ost are used perfectly in suitable situation.
Characters 2/10
Now let's get into the dark side. The protagonist of the show is one hell of a bleak character. Many people said that he was relatable and he does seem so at times , but for the most part he is just delusional idiot(and a living "bruh" moment like someone said) who is just doing anything and everything under the sun. How can you relate to a guy who stalks a girl?
Then come the girls... First is the main girl. Everybody is head over heels for the girl but tbh she is just another shallow character with no depth whatsoever. She has been declared best girl coz she agrees to whatever the protagonist says whether it's right or wrong. As far as the other girls are concerned, one is a manipulative bitch. I don't know what to say about the people who like her. Other girls don't get much screen time so just let them be.
Overall I gave the show a 7/10 coz the show was entertaining with a decent plot and ost that hit the mark. Every other aspect of the show is pretty much forgettable.
