Well I've actually been waiting for the adaptation of Luger Code 1951 for a bit now and can say I'm not disspointed. Extremely happy how it came out.
Story - I previously read and left the only review for Luger Code 1951's with the assumption it was getting a fully series adaptation. I was extremely disspointed to learn it was getting a one episode ona release, which is why I'm giving an 8. Otherwise, the story sticks pretty straight forward to the , with little things here and there that aren't that big of a deal. More of a bit of a rant/pleading at
...
the bottom.
Art - I think the art was pretty good and straight forward with it's animation. Studio Deen apparently has some trouble with its quality of animation and I saw a little bit why, mainly because a few scenes looked a little out of whack, but nothing terrible. Great on the eyes and enjoyable.
Soubd - This sounded amazing honestly. No intro or outro, but there was a credit's scene that had some amazing music playing. The ona was just beautiful on my ears and everything sounded great with the show.
Character - God I can't empasize how well the characters are, espexially Yonaga, the wolf girl that the entire "plot" is centered around. I loved her character in the and I think she's even better in the ona. She was pretty serious toned in the , and that translated over well. They also gave her a few scenes of slight cominc relief that eased tension. She aslo had a couple scenes when she blushed, and god damn it was so cute. Love her so much, defintely a new top tier character. Every other character was played extremely well compared to the .
Enjoyment - Now this is obviously the most biased category because I just happen to enjoy this genre. I also love cutesy type moments, which Luger Code had a few of. This is something that just appealed to me extremely well.
Honestly, I feel this series would get so much feedback and praise if it got a whole season. There's so much you can do with the storyline and I think it would make an amazing action/romance/adventure genre. For the love of god please someone make this a full length series. Yonaga is one of my favorite characters from Fall 2016 so far, and I don't know if that'll change anytime soon. I'm so happy I was able to watch this, and I hope other people can see the enjoyment I saw in it.
If you like cute and amazing wolf girls, Yonaga is the one for you my friend.

Now just for everyone to know, just because I gave it a 6/10 doesn't mean I didn't enjoy immensely. It's just not neccissarily that good lmao.
Will be calling it Okusama throughout the review. Any spoilers will be makred prior.
Story - Okusama is only 8 minutes each episode for 12 episodes, so the story is pretty subpar honestly. It's an ecchi obviously, so there wasn't much hope for the story in my eyes and I was right. Now this doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the concpet of the show and how events have taken place, but there's just no solid storyline.
Art - Whenever I review
...
I also just give Art an 8 or 9 because I'm not a stickler for it, but Ecchi is different. Ecchi si something where I actually pay close attention to the art style and detail, and I was impressed by Okusama. It was pleasing to me and all. I know some people will say it's bland and in a sense it is, but I personally don't like colors popping out everywhere at me. Everything from the backgrounds to the nipples is done nicely to my tastes, but hey, that's just me.
Sound - Sound isn't something I look too closely at because it's not that big of a thing for me. Same instance here. Characters weren't annoying and it all sounded fluent.
Character - Now here's something I think shined, and for good reason as well. As you know by now, this is an Ecchi, and characters are usually one sided or bland. In a sense, Okusama'a characters are that as well, but for some reason I really enjoyed them. The main female Ui honestly looks amazing to me and I love her character. The main male character Izumi was also very nicely done and wasn't a cringey MC either, which is also a plus. The side characters are all one sided as well but not annoying, which is there redeeming quality to me. All in all, good characters for an ecchi.
Overall - I see people judging this harshly and I understand why, but I feel as if this isn't something to take oh so serious. It's just an 8 minute episode ecchi with a love subplot. It's not supposed to have the best story out there. It's supposed to provided fanservice and happy feels, which it did in its entirety. That's why I'd rate it overall 6, but personal enjoyment at 9. I just enjoy shows like these.
This is a category I am only gonna do for Ecchi.
"Arousal" Factor - Ok lets be honest, arousal is a part of ecchi and happened to all of us at one point. I always factor it in for rating Ecchi to myself, and I'll share it here with you guys that read this. I don't like Ecchi that will my me "aroused" the entire time. If I wanted that, then I would go watch real porn or hentai. I like a series that while sometimes had its calm moments, I still got "aroused" at certain points because they were done good. They weren't cringey, cliche moments that make me regret watching. They were either hot, attractive moments that were enjoyable on the eyes, or a cute warm moment that I happen to love personally. I'd give this category a straight up 10 if I could.
Overall, if you like Ecchi and are ok with little to no story, you'd enjoy Okusama. If you want something deeper with a linear story, this isn't for you my friend. It's something fun to watch, so enjoy yourself.

I actually kinda feel weird about Twin Star Exorcists. I'm very glad I didn't write a review at around episode 12, because it would be entirely different than now. I'll explain why below.
Story - The stroy, while unique in a sense that I haven't personally seen it before, is still pretty vanilla. Excorcists go around exorcising Kegare, teenage girl prodigy moves and meets teenage boy prodigy who doesn't want to be an exorcist anymore. Boy mc likes the Girl mc, and there is another girl who is a side character but is best girl. Very cookie cutter imo. Doesn't mean it's not good though, it's
...
still a enjoyable story.
Art - Like I say in every review I post, I'm not a stickler for art. That being said this just looked a bit weird for me. Not bad, but in a sense out there. Still nice to look at but something iffy moments for sure.
Sound - Honestly sounded great to me, but thats because I fins it hard to mess up sounds lmao. OP 1 & 2 are also very nice.
Character - Now this is something I was iffy about for around the first 11-12 episodes. I just didn't enjoy the characters and how they played out. Now mind you there probably isn't much of a difference between anything after episode 12, but it just felt like there was. Show also has a girl I really love named Mayura, who is the male mc's childhood friend that also has a crush on him. He obviously just thinks of her as a friend, so you can kinda see the Shounen popping through lmao. Regardless she's a good character and makes things pop a bit.
Overall - Now I'll be blunt. I nearly hated the first 12 epsiodes, mainly because it seems like everything was forced. This show has some dark tones to it to give it life, and I just don't think they were applied correctly early on. The episode that I think for sure made my opinion 180 was episode 16 and 17. They do something else dark but it also messes with the male MC through psychology, which had always been a point here, but this was a newer degree. After that, everything became a tad more serious, and that made me love it for some reason.
Great show, really improved after the first 10~ episodes. Can't wait to continue watching more. Only actually wrote the review now because it seemed like a good stopping point due to there apparently being a time skip in the next episode.

I guess I'll be the first review for Luger Code 1951. I actually only chose to read the manga because it's getting an anime adaptation this fall season (2016), and it just caught my interest honestly. I'm actually kind of impressed as well, because if I remember correctly, this was just a contest submission and yet it's pretty good.
Story - The reason this is ranked lowest is purely because the manga is so short, only 3 chapters to be exact. It's basically a story about a war against the Loup-Garou's, which is just another word for wolf people. They can change and males can take
...
form of humans, while females can change to regular wolfs at night. I enjoyed the little conflict they went through and the intro of the characters nicely. It's very open ended, so it's leaves a lot of room for expanding on the horizon. It's actually one of the main things that worries me about the upcoming anime, because I'll be pretty dissapointed if it spans the entire 3 chapters over the entirety of the anime. Yes the chapters were moderate length, but nowhere near enough to fill 10-12 episodes sufficiently. I'm hoping the anime will expand on it's own story.
Art - I'm not much of a stickler for art, but this looked very pleasing to the eyes and I enjoyed looking at the well induced features it offered. I hope more will come or that the anime does it justice.
Character - This is actually something I quite enjoyed, mainly 2 people. There are 3 main characters introduced in the manga. The male MC Testa, a young genius. Sergeant Rossa, Testa's senior during the operation at hand. Finally we have Yonaga, a Loup-Garou who was captured in order to crack the Loup-Garou's code. Yonaga in particular looks amazing and so well designed, but I guess I might just have a thing for cute wolf girls.
Enjoyment - I guess this is just me being biased in all honesty, but I just love war anime/manga like this. It just catches my interest and I like to read or watch it. I enjoyed the premise and hope the anime contiunes it and doesn't ruin the series but makes it even better.
Overall - Overall I think this was a great read regardless of how short it was. It gives you plenty of room to imagine what you want to happen because of how open it ended. Can't wait for the anime adaptation to air in October, very excited. Will probably post a seperate review for the anime standalone, and will likely refernce this one in it as well lmao. It might be a bad thing, but I have pretty high hopes for this, hoping Aniplex doesn't let me down.

A section will be marked if it has slight spoilers, because I can't do what I would find an acceptable review without them.
Story - The story itself was actually very nice. Boy goes back and tries to save everyone that's in trouble. It's enjoyable to watch for me. I actually have a bit that irriated me, but I'll leave that for enjoyment because I feel it would fit better there.
Art - Art was art I guess. I never am one to complain about bad animation unless it's truly horrific. Everything looked very nice and clean to me. Pleasing to the eyes.
Sound - Sound is exactly
...
the same as art.
Character - Now this is personally where I think Erased shined to me. I absolutely loved the characters and how they played out. My particular favorite was the mother of the MC, Sachiko. She was just an amzing character and a great mother. She wasn't cliche or annoying at any time, which made me fall in love with her. I also loved Kayo, the main girl Saturo (The MC) is trying to protect. She just was very nice on the eyes and while reclusive at first, she was a great character for the show. Characters made this show amazing.
***SPOILER IS HERE BE WARNED***
Enjoyment - Now here is something I can say is good and not so good. I enjoyed episodes 1-10 immensely enough that after I had watched episode 10, I was initially going to give Erased a score of 10, but episodes 11 and 12 changed that quite drastically honestly. Satoru and Kayo were so well together as MC's and they were so cute and perfect matches for each other. Well nope, Saturo goes into a coma and wakes up and Kayo is married to someone else, with a child. That honestly both threw me off and broke my heart kinda. I hate that two characters that went so well together aren't doing anything, especially since they were so close and important to each other when they were younger. It just truly doesn't sit well with me at all. I know it isn't even classified as a romance , but still, it mad me really sad. Besides what I just said, this also mixed comedy and drama extremely well together, not putting any uneeded comedic situations where they weren't either needed or appropiate. Erased made me smile with that aspect.
***SPOILER ENDS HERE***
Overall - Overall, I loved it for the most part. It was a good and I think it's something that people will enjoy for a while. Yeah, episodes 11-12 disspointed me and took away a decent bit from the series, but I'll try not to let that impact how I feel because of it's biased reasoning. Lol besides, I'm going to jump on FanFiction.net and see if there's any decent Saturo x Kayo works up. I'm sure I'm not the only person to feel this way.
Either way, great and I recommend it to anyone that likes both humor and heartbreak. While I wish it ended differently, there isn't anything I can do to change it. Well worth watching. Thanks for taking the time to read my review.

I'll be completely honest, my expectations weren't entirely high because I see most shows labeled under horror to be over simplified and cliche. This actually wasn't the case.
tl;dr at the bottom
Story - The story is something that is defintely praiseworthy. A lot of horror animes have generic storylines that you could guess easily and basically know the entire synopsis by episode 2. I did what I usually do with most shows and made educated guesses earlier on about what would happen, and usually I'm pretty accurate, but nope. This story is original and in depth, way farther than I'd anticipated. I thought it'd be the
...
typical run of the mill "Theres a ghost girl that I can see but no one else can.", but it's so much deeper than that. I won't spoil anything, but the overall story aspect is mind blowing when you look and think about it in depth.
Art - the art was pretty good honestly. I enjoyed it personally, but I've never been one to critique art style extremely hard, so that's probably why. Animation was very consistent and it didn't go overboard when it was a gore-ish scene, which there was a few of.
Sound - This is what I think made it stand out best as a horror genre. Usually peoples definitions of horror are subjective to there own tastes, and for me, the sound made it fall nicely into that category. This isn't jump scare every 5 seconds, but more or less you have a never ending bad feeling and anxiousness, and for me the sound it was made those feelings pop. You will have to watch a few episodes to understand more in depth.
Characters - The characters were very nice, but be mindful that there is a decent chance your favorite character might die. From even the characters that had an extremely short time, they were great to me, and they played out well. Whether it a character goes from happy on the beach to psychotic in a lodge or alive and jumpy to dead and still, they still played it well.
Enjoyment - I just can say I enjyed it a lot. Parts that you'd think would be basic and lacking like most animes were actually really in depth and had a lot of background. Parts you'd think would be drawn out when they shouldn't have been were short and easy. This show was just satisfying and enjoying to watch. It also had what I would consider a very satisfying ending in my eyes. It just went great with how it ended.
tl;dr Overall 9/10. Great and good in the horror genre. I would recommend to people who enjoy a good thriller. Great pace and absolutely amazing story. Ending was great as well because it left you feeling complete and satisfied. I think most would really enjoy this.
Also little side note I Lol'd at. You ever see that video on facebook that has brutal deaths? One of those is actually in this . Very beginning of episode 7. If you've watched the video then you'll defintely recognize the death.

Being someone who's relatively fresh to manga, I can truly say this was something else.
Ishida is a bully, picking on Shouko because she's deaf and therefore different. That alone caught my attention. It's a unique start to what would be an amazing journey for both me and Ishida.
This manga ended up giving me a sense of most emotions, such as happiness, sadness, and even anger. The way they're protrayed throughout the story baffles me because of how well done it is.
The art is incredible, and it's consistent as well. That's something I consider rare nowadays. Every character, in my eyes at least, was unique in
...
nearly every way.
Overall, I truly loved this work. It brought a lot of enjoyment to read it, and I honestly am still kind of blown away by how it went. Some people might not enjoy the particular way it ended out, but for me it was satisfying, and for that, I'm giving this a 10/10 all across the board. This is a work of art.

I can actually say that when I started this series, I had pretty low expectations from it. It instantly blew me away.
Mind it, romance is something I'll watch regardless of good nor bad, but Mysterious Girlfriend X is different. It's unique in so many way. Tsubaki (Male MC) isn't a Gary Stu and actually has a really good personality that's interesting. Urabe (Female MC) isn't a JAne Doe and she might be the most unique character I've seen in quite some time. It's just smething kinda uncommon these days.
One of my favorite things was Character design. Urabe is one of my favorite designs for a
...
character of all time. I love how she's portrayed and love the weird girl persoanlity to compliment how she looks. I also think most of the female designs in this anime were top tier as well. They all looked unique in there own way, and they all were pleasing to the eye.
I'll admit, the series is weird to someone watching it first, but it gets so much more in depth and enjoyable after a few episodes, mainly because you understand why stuff happens in a sense. the bond between Tsubaki and Urabe is between Drool. That's weird, but it's unique and done correctly. They're not making it disgusting or overdoing it. It's a fine balance of everything right.
Honestly loved this anime to death. It's easily in my top 5 of all time. I'll probably re-watch it a bit after this review LOL. I'm kinda disheartened that there never was a season 2 though. There was a manga (which is what the anime is obviously based off of) that ran for like 10 years and ended in 2014, but I hear it was really a dissatisfactory ending, so I'm personally not going to read the manga because I'd like to keep the series in high esteem to myself. Sadly, if you want more Mysterious Girlfriend X, FanFiction might be the only thing you have.
Either way, amazing anime. I give it a 10 honestly. This anime is almost one of a kind. Must watch if you love romance.
