Both have the same feeling of a city over run by a large massive supernatural sphere where anonymous large demons/human beasts invade cities and cause destruction. Coincidentally, the same male seiyuu plays the main character (Hiro Shimono) in each series.

Both male and female characters in each story have a similar vibe where they have a special relationship, and are at each others side. The girls are very skilled with undeniable fighting abilities Rie (expert swordsman) and Kagari (workshop witch), don't show much emotion, and both females are physically larger than the males. The males tend to be useless in the fighting department. However in Te to Kuchi, Shusuke has an incredible gift of reading people's emotions (conversational skills) to help him in his tasks. The difference is Te to Kuchi takes place in the Edo period, and both protagonist take on odd jobs. While Witch Craft Works deals with witchcraft, and fighting villians.

Both series involve a lot of action with significant figures inside the school, and the student council president. The characters have super power abilities, fighting skills, etc. However in Medaka Box the student council president is the protagonist rather than the antagonist. Note:" Medaka Box Abnormal" is the sequel to the first season.

Both stories revolve around a sibling relationship with the eldest being female, and the youngest male. The difference is Recorder to Randoseru circles around one pair of siblings, and the young brother (11 yrs old) is much bigger and most people assume he is the eldest compared to his sister (17 yrs old). Anyway both stories are short, and share a comedy experience of the character's daily lives.

Without giving too much info both stories have a similar concept of a young male interacting with an older woman. As the story progresses, they start to be drawn towards each other. The difference is in "Onegai Teacher" the MC gets married early on in the story, while "Kotonoha no Niwa" is more subtle.

Kuragehime and Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo very similar as both main protagonists live in their respective apartment complex/dormitory, also while living with unique characters and their strange mannerisms. Both have comedy, and romance. The difference is Kuragehime is josei, so the romance will focus on the female.

There are similarities between the two main characters in both animes. The two characters from each story are brothers, the younger brother is the popular one with more success and fame, while the older one is down on his luck however is more talented than the younger brother. Both older brothers have a life-changing experience and begin to work their way towards their respective goals, and over come the younger sibling.

Both stories are sci-fi that deal with characters living underground away from the outside world. The main characters have a curiosity for this outside world full of green grass, and blue skies, thus journey out to find out more about it. "Pale Cocoon" and "Sakasama no Patema" are both directed by Yasuhiro Yoshiura, who has great interest in sci-fi with other works such as "Eve no Jikan"

Without giving too much info and spoiling, both female protagonists are somewhat going through similar circumstances. What is quite interesting is they have the same first name... Yuuko Kanoe and Yuuko Amamiya (ef - A tale of melodies), and similar features (hair/color, body) NOTE: However this recommendation is a SEQUEL so it is suggested to watch the prequel first (ef - A tale of Memories) and understand the story.

After the first episode it literally reminded me of K-On, because Saki and K-On have a group of girls trying to revive a club with an incredible past. Both have a specific goal to accomplish when they start their clubs (K-On perform at the school festival, and Saki make it into the mahjong tournament).

It takes place in a school environment, where the cast is involved in a club/school activities. SKET dance is filled with comedy, and parodies that you'll enjoy. There is character development by revealing each character's past, and how all 3 are connected and came to be... which is similar to Seitokai. So if you loved Seitokai no Ichizon then you'll enjoy SKET Dance.
