Gugure Kokkuri-san is a great comedy anime from the autaum season of 2014, with it being the show I had the most fun watching throughout the season.
Story and Characters
For the most part Gugure Kokkuri-san is episodic, and often has multiple stories told in one episode rather than having one story take up a whole 20 minutes of screentime. This is most likley becuase it is based on a 4 panel manga. The stories told are very well done and are great fun to watch, having many refrences to different things throughout, and in general having stories that are quite original, and even when they are
...
not, it's more likley that it is poking fun of what it is copying, instead of just outright ripping it off.
The show's cast is what gives life to this show, if these characters were not nearly as fun to watch this show would be nowhere near as good as it is. kohina Ichimatsu is an adorable character, from her obsession with cup noodles to the way she acts like a doll, she is great fun to watch. Kokkuri-san is also hilarious, being very overprotective of Kohina and how she lives her life. Inugami is probably my least favourite out of the 4 main characters, but this does not mean that I enjoy watching him, but his obsesion with Kohina is somewhat creepy, and while it's kind of funny at first, it gets old quite fast. Thankfully they come up with some more original jokes centered around him later in the series though. Shigaraki is the shows pervert character and I actually really enjoy watching him, he is the one that has some of the more serious moments in the show, and I think those moments are done reasonably well. The side characters don't really appear all that much, theres the tsundere Jimeko, the alien, yamamoto, who appears every once and a while to make a E.T reference, Tengu the pedophile, and that's about it. They are enjoyable to watch during what little screentime they get.

The shows animation is quite basic, characters don't move all that often and when they do they often it's a character sliding across the screen. The animation never really gets that complex or impressive, since this show does not really need mindblowing animation, overall what TMS Enterainment has given us with this series in terms of animation is nothing spectacular, but it is servicable, the art on the other hand is quite good, with interesting character designs, and very pretty looking backgrounds.
The shows soundtrack is servicable but nothing amazing, with the opening and ending of course being the exeption, the intro is up-beat, catchy, and great to listen to at the begining of each episode, the ending song is also nice, but no where as good a the opening. Voice acting is great, with Kohina's acting captuing how she acts like a emotionless doll perfectly, and the rest of the voice cast doing what the needed to do very well.

Overall
This series is great fun begining to end, and is a very worthwhile watch, with a great sense of humour, a lovable cast that is intereting and give some hilarious jokes. The show is does have it's problems, with the story being simple, somewhat lackluster animation, and sometimes the series does not really know if it wants to be a bit more serious or not, but I still think that it is worth watching, and you can watch it for free on Crunchyroll too, so it is easily available too.

Midori no Hibi (Midori Days) is a... interesting anime. I find that the show is often bashed for it's odd concept and ecchi elements. But I think that this show is very enjoyable, with great characters, and a original, and interesting concept.
The story of Midori Days is, as I said before. Very odd. The idea of a guy with a cute girl on his right hand, who just happens to have a crush on him by the way, very bizzare and strange. But I believe that the show is, despite being and ecchi, very sweet and cute. And it's just a ton of fun watching
...
the two main characters relationship get better as the show goes on.
The two main characters in the show are the best part about the show. Midori while on Seiji's hand is almost always full of energy and very cheerful. Though, when in her human body is increadibly shy. Her devotion to Seiji is insane, often getting increadibly jealous when he's around any girls. She is a cute character and fun to watch. Seiji, despite being a imfamous delinquent who everyone's afraid of, is often only doing it to protect the weak, as he remember's a time when he was weak and bullied. He's at heart, really just a nice guy who want's a girlfriend. In general he's a ton of fun to watch just like Midori. Unfortunatley the other characters I find to be no where near as great as the main two, Ayase, another girl who falls for Seiji after being rescued by him, to be honest, is a Tsundere and does not have much development during the show. And the episodes dedicated to her are painful. Shiroi, who is a ten year old girl, also has a crush on Seiji. But I really just find her quite annoying. Her episode dedicated to her also was not much fun to watch. The other characters don't get much screentime and development in the anime, like Rin, Seiji's older sister. Who appears in a couple of episodes to harass Seiji. Admitedly I do like Rin, I find her to be fun to watch. But she does not get nearly enough screentime in the anime. Midori's friend, Kouta. Is not interesting at all in the anime, but is much more interesting in the manga. Which in general, was better than the anime in terms of characters. As most of them at least have one chapter out of eighty five of them devoted to them, and it gives them alot more development.

Animation and Sound
In terms of animation this show is nothing all that special. The backgrounds look nice and the animation quality is good enough. There were not moments where the show went noticeably off model, overall the animation Studio Pierrot produced for this show, while nothing spectaular, is quite good.
The series music is nothing noteworthy, all the background tracks fit the comedic situations the characters are in well enough but are nothing i'd listen to on it's own. The OP and ED however are quite good, despite being quite generic.

Overall while this adaption of the original manga has it's problems, I think that it's still a very enjoyable anime. The two main leads are great fun to watch, the conept of the show is interesting, and the show's comedy is often increadibly funny. As I have said I believe this adaption has it's problems, but I still believe it is worth watching, as it is a blast to watch.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun (Monthly Girls' Nozaki-Kun) is a fantastic comedy anime. Throughout all twelve episodes the show was great fun to watch and was in general, one of the most fun anime's of the 2014 summer season.
Story and Characters
The story for the show is quite simple but is really fun. With the exeption of Bakuman I have never really been fond of the other animes out there that follows characters making manga, but this is one of the few ones out there I believe to be done well. Which to me is suprising considering that the original magaka's other works have not very well recieved
...
as far as I know.
The characters are very likeable and fun to watch and I believe are what makes the show so great. Starting with Nozaki, the writer and artist of the manga, "Let's fall in Love". Who despite writing shoujo manga, has no personal experience in love whatsoever. So he is completley oblivious to Sakura's feelings towards him. And in general is quite weird. Then there's Sakura, a member of the school art club and a girl who admires Nozaki, and is the character who's point of view we see througout. Then there's the rest of Nozaki's assistants, starting with Mikoshiba, who is quite popular and flirtatious with girls. Though on the inside he's really shy otaku and often hides in embarassment after saying bold statements. There's also Hori, president of the school drama club and is very self consious about his short height. Then there's Wakamatsu, who joins Nozaki later to apply screentones to panels. He is part of the basketball team.

Art and Sound
In terms of the art and animation this show is not a technical marvel by any strech of the imagination, but what's here is very well done and does what it's supposed to do. The expresions on the characters faces are varied, and there is no point in the series where the animation is noticabley off-model. Overall Dogakobo did a good job on the animation.
The music in the series fits the situations the characters are in well, but are not really anything that I would listen to on it's own, with the exeption of the track that plays during the credits of the final episode, as it is really catchy. The OP is also great, and the ED is okay but nothing spectacular.

This show is just a blast to watch. The jokes thrown at the screen are almost always hilarious, the characters are lovable and are great fun to watch, and while the story is simple, it is much better executed that most animes about people making manga (with the exeption of Bakuman. That shall never be topped.). This series is definetly worth watching, and since it's free on Crunchyroll you really have no excuse not to watch it, unless you are not into comedies.

This is by far the worst animated adaption in the whole entire Sonic series, this series really had not effort put into it whatsoever, probably due to Sonic not doing well in japan at all. But to me, that brings up the question, why does this thing exist in the first place?
Story - 3/10
In terms of the series plot, well... it does not really have a plot until later in the series, the first 26 episodes of this is just basicly Sonic and freinds going on an adventure to find the Chaos emeralds to get back hime after being transported to earth. After the first
...
26 episodes is the first time where the plot has any significance. To bad they were lazy and just took the plots from the two Sonic Adventure games and made a terrible adaption of it. Really, the only arc with some ounce of effort put it was the last one, Even that was not very orignal.
Animation - 1/10
Then there's the art, which is some of the worst I have ever seen in my whole entire life. Only a very small percentage of the shows 78 episodes have well drawn, on model animation. And I will admit, those few episodes looked fantastic. But then theres everything else. God. The Sonic Stadium fourms has a thread dedicated to the many different animation styles in the show. And trust me, there are many disgusting ones in there.
Music - 7/10
The music for the show is actually pretty good. The music that plays in the episodes fits it well enough, but I am more focusing on the shows opening and three ending themes, all of which are fantastic and well worth listening to.
Characters - 2/10
Then theres the characters, and I may as well talk about the shows true main character, Chris Thorndyke. I'm serious, he is the only character in the show to get any backstory, or development... To bad he is a unlikable brat. Moving on, we have the "main" character, Sonic, who really only appears at the end of the episode to defeat the Eggmans schemes at the end of most episodes, most of the time he's just lying around doing nothing. No one in the rest of the cast is important at all to be honest, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Cream, just for the most part stand in the background and watch Chris whine and Sonic do all the work. The only character in the show who's worth a damn is Dr. Eggman, and without him, this would be even more painful than the show already is, he is the only source of relief in the whole show, he's a funny and fun to watch.
Overall - 1/10
Don't watch this show. There is almost nothing in it that's worth watching it for. If you want to listen to the opening and endings, you can just listen to them on youtube. Stay away, it's not worth you're time. And if you just have to watch this trainwreck, avoid the 4kids dub like the plauge.
