This is a really decent adaptation.
Various shortcomings - most noticeable - obvious and jarring CGI. However, one hard truth of modern animation is that CGI is an easy manner to reduce the workload, especially for smaller teams with strict deadlines and reduced budgets. The show makes up for it with superb voice acting, a great opening and ending, as well as an interesting style with bold colors and stark contrasts. Not to be that guy - but if you enjoyed the anime or like the look of it - you should definitely take a glance at the manga. The manga is amazing, no other way ...

Fun, exciting, action-packed Anime.
Only disappointments are various unnecessary scenes and flashbacks scattered throughout episodes that tend to break the good rhythm time was spent on to build up. Otherwise - it is extremely creative, with unique characters that are able bring out emotion from the viewer. As well as a genuinely interesting and original power system Story-wise, it is well written and manages to defy initial expectations. The Ops and Ends were innovational and catchy. Great animation, prefect for the action scenes packed with tension as well as a superb soundtrack. Overall - definitely worth a watch. That's all I want to say but ...

Had a ton of fun with this one. Did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did.
An interesting story about a dungeon where a rag-tag party are seeking to revive a fallen comrade. However what really made it enjoyable was the vibe the show brought, managing to tackle serious events while still keeping its warm, cozy tone where necessary. As well as establishing characters that felt personal in how it explored their personalities. It has an extremely interesting take on dungeons and ecosystems that made me think differently.
