"Meh" is the best way I can think to describe this manga. I started reading it after I heard how it goes "dark" after getting axed. Then I read the first chapter and actually liked the characters and felt afraid for their sake... just to be disappointed on both ends. While it's true the "event" added unneeded drama to a comfy manga, it also wasn't enough of a big deal to really matter. Can't trust mobs nowadays I guess...
Like, by the way people were talking about it, I was certain some fucked up shit was going to happen to one of the main characters, but
