Darkness, misery and despair.
Basically you have to get through 9 average and boring episodes, to get to pretty interesting 3 last ones.
Culmination and ending of this story is, in my opinion very good, but rest of it is at most average. You can easily watch first and secound episode and directly go to 9th or 10th part because nothing important is happening. Just Kotonoha and her boyfriend are apologizing each other 5 times per episode.
Characters are flat, we have Kotonoha who apologizes for everything, boring and bumb main character (I forget his name 5 min after watching anime) and Sekai jealous all the
