...then you might like Asobi ni Iku yo! add

Similar alien comes from outer space and changes main character's life. Both shows have a bit of a similar light feel but at times have action. First thing watching this it reminded me of the other show perhaps its something in the animation or music that is great.

If you liked Black Lagoon add

...then you might like Murder Princess add

Both have strong female leads but Murder princess is pretty much garbage in comparison to how awesome Black Lagoon is. They both deal in mature themes but Black Lagoon seems to have a much more realistic feeling to it (not to mention it doesn't have magic).

If you liked Kenpuu Denki Berserk add

...then you might like Claymore add

Both series deal with inhuman fighting power and have strong supernatural elements. Claymore has mostly female fighters while berserk has mostly male fighters. This being the primary difference they are otherwise fun to watch for action and an interesting plot. Of the two I would say Claymore is better because of a few problems with Berserk such as its brevity (unlike the eternally long manga) and some artistic oddities some people can't deal with (one enemy takes the form of a serpent with a man's face inside its mouth which is dumb). Other than that berserk is a good series although it has a somewhat tragic ending as opposed to the ending of claymore.

Both series have children and brotherly relationships.

If you liked Lamune add

...then you might like Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu add

Both have a close friendship throughout the series of the main characters who grow closer. They are both surprisingly fun to watch especially if you dislike Violent retribution anime.
