You are probably thinking it sounds really boring, but in all honesty it's one of the best anime I have ever watched in my opinion. It takes mahjong to the level of superpowers, but not in the pathetic, stupid way some animes do. You don't have to know a single thing about mahjong. You get to know the characters, come to love them, and feel like you are at the table playing with them.
