*Minor spoilers ahead*
'My Capricorn friend' is a story about guiltiness and freedom of choice. It is not by far one of the best one-volume mangas I have read, but it isn't so bad as to not give it a try.
Since the synopsis in mal is so brief I'm gonna explain a little bit more about the plot: the mc, Yuya Matsuda is really aware that school bullying surrounds him. But since he has neither the role of the bully or the victim, he is unable to step in that world or even try to do something to improve the situations he witnesses at school.
...
One night by chance he finds out that Wakatsuki, one of his bullied classmates, has killed his bully.
So my review is going to be brief: this is a manga that could have transmitted so much but in the end it didn't. This story at first is really approaching and in fact it is, but the characters sometimes suck. The mc is cold as ice most of the time, to the extent it gives off that feeling that he has been through the worst things in life. I would have liked him to act in a more humane way. And also I think that some characters that had been almost transparent gain a lot importance so the story could end.. making some sense and being a little bit too dramatic. The art is worth mentioning: amazing scenery and backgrounds. I just wish the panels had had some more dynamism. The most cool thing about this manga is that magic aura that has sometimes.
So, overall: well, it can be read in less than an hour so it is not a waste of time. Not awesome but it is interesting, easy to read exciting sometimes. And I don't know why this manga is so unpopular since it has even been released in Spain! So give it a look if you have time :D

First, I have to say that for me this manga ended in chapter 6. I think it was quite a success so they are going to lengthen it, but I don't really think new content can improve a plot that was already closed and tied up.
When I started reading Escape Journey I didn't think it would be different from other Ogeretsu Tanaka's mangas, but gradually the plot becames more interesting and deep, and you can start to appreciate the humanity and realism of the characters. They each have their own problems and personalities, but you discover these things in a sutile way. Nothing big
...
happens, but you end up knowing a lot about the characters. What has also to be said, they have the stereotypical personalities though. (Characters 7/10)
The plot is quite simple but its development is smooth and its ups and downs come at the right time. It has really really touching and overwhelming moments but also heartbreaking and agressive scenes. I hated though that some of the things that made progress the plot and stimulated the character development were the most recursive excuses in BL mangas. Most of this moments were predictable, but some others were not and I was facinated by a couple of minutes looking at the same page because of the impact of the scene. (Story 6/10)
About the art, I can only say WOW. I absolutely love the way Ogeretsu tanaka draws her stories. Like her other mangas, the lines are clean, the characters are cute and the objects are detailed, but this manga has something more. The scenarios, clothes and objects are drawn really minuciously. There are some scenes that are freaking OUTSTANDING, you'll really come upon them if you read Escape Journey. Also the facial expressions are great and the tempo of the frames is perfect! It is really easy to read because of these aspects. (Art 10/10)
As an overrall, I have to say that I loved reading this manga and that I found something else that other mangas by Ogeretsu Tanaka lacked. It was cute, funny sometimes and reaaally touching although it has nothing really remarkable or grotesque that attracts attention. I really think it should have ended at the first volume (first 6 chapters) though. If I had to read one manga from sensei it would probably be this one! :D

Spoiler-free review! :D I think this manga is REALLY REALLY underrated. Yeah, crossdressing does not appeal to everybody and even some BL readers may find it gross, but even if you think so, give this manga a try. It is surprisingly good I swear. It's one of the most realistic stories I have ever read in a BL manga. It's not like you would expect a truly interesting realistic story and so well designed characters in a yaoi so for sure anyone might find it refreshing. I would actually recommend it to everybody but it has some explicit scenes (really really well made and drawn
...
by the way).
A brief review here if you don't want to read the detailed one ahead:
The story is cute and gentle but really deep and touching. The art is simple but goes well with the story plot and atmosphere, it is something not really common so it catched my attention in a second. The characters are simply GREAT, they are realistic, selfish sometimes, insecures but with clear thoughts and opinions. It is brief and easy to read. In my opinion one of the BEST BL mangas I have ever seen!! Really recommended.
Now a more detailed review (also spoiler-free):
Story: 9/10
Well a brief summary: Yashiro likes crossdressing. It spontaneously happened once and he found his true self while wearing girl's clothes. Momose, a creepy guy from his class found out. Yeah, that is all you need to know about the plot. It might be simple but I preferred it that way: a good story doesn't have always to be obscure, unusual or really imaginative to be deep and shocking. It is pure, cute and it overwhelmed me with emotions. It has that nostalgic, light and gentle aura all Hideyoshico's stories have. The development is smooth even though it has only 6 chapters.
Art: 7/10
I would have given it a 9/10 but I am being objective here and I think it might not appeal to a lot of people. The characters are simple but cute, and the proportions and body parts are really well done! It gives an ethereal atmosphere that suits the story perfectly. I also think the scenery is quite well done and detailed in the precise moments. Also, the illustrations (cover and extras) are beautiful.
Character: 10/10
By far the most remarkable part of this manga. The two main characters could freaking exist in real life. Momose is a creep, likes some kind of metal music and is curious about Yashiro from the start. He looks like a shy dark guy but only because he is not really interested in anyone, but he clearly knows what he wants. Yashiro has got a complex about his preferences so he wants Momose to look at him and notice him but is also afraid of not being as good as a woman in appearance terms.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Cute but not stupid, simple but overwhelming! I loved it.
Overall: 9/10
Would be in my top 5 BL mangas. If you like yaoi it is really refreshing, worth reading and short so I dunno what are you waiting for! <3

This story starts when Shino Yuzuru, a handsome third-year high school student, gets dumped by his current girlfriend because he was not the person expected to be: when girls see him at archery club immediately fall for him because of his beautiful face and pose, but he is truly a little bit careless, selfish and direct with his thoughts. While he wonders what is to really fall in love with someone, he hears the story of the freshman Seryou: a handsome guy that dates the first person who asks him out at the beginning of the week and turns them down on Sunday because he
...
couldn't truly fall in love. Destiny makes Yuzuru encounter Seryou that Monday and obviously joking, he asks Seryou out, but Seryou accepts his offer!
After this little introduction on the plot, let's analyze this manga.
Story: 9/10. It is obvious that the person who did the plot, Tachibana Venio, is a writer and this piece is not made only by the mangaka. The story may seem quite simple, but the way the events flow was perfectly planned in advance. The sensation you get from the feelings of the protagonists growing bigger is progressive, in contrast with the usual "I realized I had fallen in love" in most BL mangas. Also I found it quite original, it is a unique shounen-ai that talks about the pure fact of falling in love with someone, knowing their strengths and weaknesses, accepting all of it and still loving everything about them.
Art: 9/10. This was one of the first Takarai Rihito works but still the art is pretty, clean, dynamic and goes along well with the story. The dramatic scenes are amazing because of the drawings, the perspectives and the rythm of the panels. A few time ago I think a mini extra chapter of Seven Days was released and we could see how would have been this story with the current Takarai Rihito's style, but I also quite liked the older one (the main character's faces were more different and unique in my opinion).
Character: 10/10. As I said, it is clear that Tachibana Venio, a writer, was in charge of the plot. The characters are two of the most realistic ones I have ever seen on a manga. They have been minutely made, so their personalities and decisions match perfectly. The way the two protagonists act is crucial on the development of the story, this is why everything fits perfectly while reading this two-volume piece of art.
Enjoyment: 10/10. I like BL but I also like reading interesting and good plots (it is quite dificult finding mangas with this two qualities), so 'Seven Days' really got my attention. Original and serious but with some funny moments, this story really touches your heart in a few chapters. I could hear my heart beating at some scenes. Everything ends well tied, and the feeling after reading it is like reading it again!
Overall: 9/10. I can't really think of any negative points of this manga. The story flows along perfectly and is really pure, cute, realistic and thrilling despite being quite simple. The art is also cute so what are you wainting for? Go read this manga!
This was my first review and my main language is not English but I hope it was useful!
