Hot jojo-like fairy guys with some BL stuff. Sign me up. Plot kinda confusing/wacky, but that is how most magical girl shows work. For clarity on this point, I was just as confused by sailor moon's ending/plot as I was with this show. Only a little bit confused by everyone's motivations. But just saying, this genre's characters aren't known for it's big brain thinkers.
The character designs are super cool and I am not even talking about all the sexiness. The different designs and personalities are just cool. But lets be real if you don't blush when the blue fairy does a back bend during
...
his transformation, is this show targeting your demographic? So yes... The outfits are OMG and the muscles are *car horn noises*. The extra stuff was ummm.... Great. Not for kids, but I have a mortgage, so I am old enough to enjoy a sexy Fairy boy licking the shoe of domineering queen without being judged.
But what is great is that the relationships aren't cringe. They aren't like, lets make these guys gay randomly. It takes like 7 episodes before the relationships get started and they make sense. It also isn't like making fun of it. Lets be clear, the guy's bodies and poses are fan service. But the relationships aren't. There is a huge difference in presentation and I will not explain this point further.
If I was a Jpop or foreign music fan I would be inclined to say more about the music. But overall, Some of the songs made me want to dance and gyrate my hips. Other songs had good poetic lyrics. The music was 10/10.
8/10 overall. Wouldn't recommend to straight men or republican women.

**My grammar is not Gucci, not because I am dumb, I just don't feel like editing and reviewing it.**
In all there are 4 stories among 6 chapters. I will be honest, the second story "bottom of heaven", I did not like. I will complain about it at the end. I will first write about the other 3 stories.
In general, the art for all the stories were really good, except in the 18+ sections. Some of it was not perfect. Also some smaller panels, I just could not tell what was going on. If someone told me that was a person's back, I could be like
...
"you right", but I would have the same reaction if someone told me it was some folded sheets. Overall, the Art and character design was top tier, ya'll these guys were so cute. OMG like top tier pretty. If you are looking for a sexy ripped guys, read some other book, cuz this is for the girls that like the kawaii cinnamon bun men.
The stories were all fine. Based on the cover, I thought there would be some psychological horror stuff going on. I was wrong, it had a bit of the psychological stuff. But the main elements were romance and supernatural. The closest to PSY/Horror was "The Circus After Midnight".
These are short stories; I can understand that there would need to be more length to flesh out horror elements. When I bought the book I thought the whole thing was a single volume of "melting lover", It was my fault for setting unreachable standards.
In general all the stories, were top tier (except bottom of heaven). I could nick pick for each story, but that would take forever. Let me say that noisy jungle was my favorite even thought the plot was super simple. I think I just want my own pet cinnamon bun.
Okay, since you got to the end of the review, I bet ya'll are wondering why I don't like "Bottom of heaven". *spoilers* Bruh, why are they making the 2nd cutest character in the book and an angel coerce sex from a rape victim. Based on the phone call after sex to God, It sounds like God knows about the angel having sex with him. Then God still sends the rape victim/hitman to hell and the angel follows the guy to hell because *love*. The author gives background for the hitman, but not the angel. Like why are you forsaking literal heaven to go to hell with this guy who probably doesn't even like you. Also, the hitman turns down the offer to get into heaven through a back door provided to him by the angel. If in the end they fall in love with each other, why not just go to heaven. Also, we don't know why the angel is following him around in the first place. It is his job to kiss the dead bodies of people to send them to the afterlife. But like you should have more work that just the hitman bodies. in general, making the angel boy into a creepy heathen is not good for my heart or loins. This story was just not my cup of tea. All the other stories ranged from above-average to totally awesome.

Warning, slight spoilers
The best thing about the book is the characters. Learning more about the history/background of the Incubus (Rei) and how he relates to Fujimaru's grandfather and why he feeds on men. The story does centers more on the history of Rei than the development of the couple. The couple dynamic is very cliche. The whole main character (Fujimaru) is like "But I am not gay. I don't love Rei. I want to get rid of Rei!". But of course we know they are all lies.
The second volumes ends with the couple together and Fujimaru accepting Rei. But the story doesn't feel finished because
...
the plot following Rei's curse doesn't come to an end. The curse plot introduces another sex demon who wants revenge on Rei. So without a solution to this, the book series feels open ended.
The first volume was kinda cringe, due to Fujimaru's obsession with his younger bother. The side plot with Fujimaru and his younger brother in the second volume was cute.
Overall the sex scenes were pretty fun. Nothing too crazy, but also not vanilla.

I am going to start off by saying there are adult films with better plot. I am just going to show summaries of each episode. I made notes while watching.
Episode 1: Introduces characters and their "Armor"
Episode 2: Unfair pay and eye burning Bondage.
Episode 3: Shows us why the U.S' s third amendment was made.
Episode 4: Wholesome Mayor "You will do anything? ;)" asks them to do chores. Then they fix Bestiality, aphrodisiacs, yuri, tentacles. My poor innocent eyes. Then the wholesome mayor gives a Wholesome speech.
Episode 5: Their panties sell faster than Belle Delphine's bath water.
Episode 6: Perfectly placed leaves and
...
signages, and a Perverted slime Monster.
DARKNESS PLEASE GO BACK TO KONOSUBA!
Episode 7: Flashback episode with a lot of tongue. We also see Stonehenge.
Episode 8: New girls with accents. Valkyrie is hot TBH. Yurification, the Gay representation we need. An OTP is born.
Episode 9: OH NO, Darkness, you are a loli lover?
This episode was actual pretty good.
Episode 10: Traps, and not the gay kind. if there were gay traps, this would of gotten a 5.
Episode 11: Darkness X Major. No s*x before Marriage.
Episode 12: I am at a lost for words. stay for the after credit scenes.
Were the girls hot? At least, 50% of them. No homo.
Was there a plot? No
Should I of started watching this? No
Did it scar me for life? IDK, the end of episode 2 was wack.
I am the opposite of this show's target audience.

This shows supporting characters acting with out Tsukimi or Kuranosuke. The jokes are average, except the 4 episode. The cat and the car had me dead. I suggest watching episodes 1-3 after episode 2 or 3 and Episode 4 after Shuu is introduced in the main series. It doesn't give spoilers.
It does give more characterization to the sisterhood. This can obviously be watched after completing the series. But because it doesn't contribute to the story in anyway, it won't help fill the void of finishing the series.
Even without a plot, it is still a fun watch. There are good jokes and they are
...
only 5 minutes long. It is definite worth to watch if you love a certain character and want to see more of them. Shuu, they didn't give you enough screen time! Cries in lack of second season.
Clearly this is for those who have watched or are watching the main kuragehime series.

I wait to start out with the fact that I was ready to give this a 10 if it stuck the ending. But I am very disappointed with the MANY loose ends this season gave us. I know this should of had a second season. But alas it is a dark future, one with out answers. But this has pushed me to pursue the manga.
I will now talk about the actual show/ story. I think it is a good show (I know what I am saying is cringe) for virgins. The main characters are all virgins except the beautiful crossdresser. But
...
instead of making fun of them for it, it is accepted and made apart of them. In the beginning, the crossdresser (Kuranosuke) makes fun of his brother Shuu and judges Tsukimi (main girl). But he beings to understand it. I like the role of Shuu because he isn't looked down on as unmanly or childish for not getting laid. The only one who does that is the vixen who is blackmailing him. It is important to not equate sex with adulthood or coming to age. The trope of the 40 year old virgin is dehumanizing and causes moral decay.
It is great how Tsukimi and Shuu start to experience their love in a wholesome natural way. It is okay to have a first love at any age! Of course, they get split up because of that vixen. Which brings me to my next point.
After being split up the team starts to get serious about saving their building. I like this because it doesn't show that love is the most important part about becoming a functioning person. It is about being able to stand up for yourself and getting things done. The girls start learn about the outside world and how to interact with people. A Character point is lost because the only people appearing to learn is Tsukimi and Chieko (the manager). The others receive little to no development. Tsukimi grows without changing the things important to her like her love for jelly fish or her friends, she only gains. In the beginning, her only income is her father's allowance, she can barely leave her room. By the end of the season we can see what her end growth will be like. But we never actual get to see it because there is no second season.
Another thing I like was that Tsukimi didn't have a life goal. One could say her life goal was to draw jellyfish or to become a normal princess-like girl. But she didn't know what she wanted in the long term. Most people don't have a life goal or dream career, (I do, but I assume most people don't). The way she gets her career feels more natural. She didn't think "I want to become a fashion designer". No! she just had a passion for jellyfish and it developed into a career.
There is so much more I can say about this.
There are many relatable things. The baby boomers and their kids was such a short of so true scene.
I could write and essay on Shuu's side story.
In summary, this story isn't just a love story, not just a comedy, not just a Career drama or a underdog story. It is all of that and more. It shows love and sex in a positive way, not shaming those who have to much or too little of it. It shows a semi realistic attempt to save the place they love, and career bloom. The love between the characters are not forced and is actually natural.
Warning, I will be really Honest. the first 3 episodes are so cringe your head might hurt. But you are suppose to feel the second hand embarrassment.

This is cute movie to watch with the kids (if you have some) or with a friend. The story is quite simple, which is not bad considering this is a kid's movies.
The music is very cute and the art is nicely done.
The fight scene towards the end of the movie was crazy and vibrant in color. The fight scene remind me of the dragon fight in sleeping beauty.
I would of liked to see Unico meet more people. but the two he did meet were both good. I liked the cat and her naïve. It drove the plot forward and caused good character
...
development and was taught a good lesson about kindness. The demon Unico meets learns about friendship and how to be a good friend. Kid movies should have morals like these in them.
The west and winter winds are good plot devices, which can be use to continue the story indefinitely. Remember that this movie as a sequel.

While I am writing this when I have not completed the anime. I would like to state that this is so good that both me and a friend (my friend having watched only one episode) decide to buy the cd online. YouTube only has episodes 1 - 21 and 25. This covers only the old testaments. It wouldn't be a understatement to say this has brought me closer to God. Actually seeing the struggles of the Jews during the Moses arc, their worry, doubts, and struggles, makes me want to celebrate Passover. While reading the bible is amazing, seeing it makes it feel real.
...
Perfect for binge watching.
Story: 9
There was a few things left out and put in that made me shake my head. This was mainly the Josheph arc. I would of also liked to see more of the noah's arc story. Most of the time what happenned inside the arc during the 40 days is left out. There is probably more changed, but I am not a bible scholar.
Art: 8
My friend said it was amazing. But I think it is just average. For the time is was made it is good. The animals are my favorite. The back ground art is very impressive.
Sound: 8
The voice over guy has a great voice. The rest is just average. They do their job. I watched it dubbed. I wish I could hear it in japanesse.
Character: 10
With such great source material, there is no way to have less than a ten. so many different charaters with there own personalities.
Enjoyment: 10
I had a great time watching it.

This show is what you show other people when trying to invite them into anime. It isn't wild or crazy. It is a simple story. The characters is what makes this story great. The comedy will make you pause the show in order to catch your breath and the ending will leaving you smiling. This is a wholesome show with fun people. Handa is such a relatable person. the art is nothing impressive. but it works perfectly for this kind of anime. If you like this then I suggest you watch "Haven't you heard? I'm sakamoto." If you are looking to laugh or something to
...
watch with the family. This is the show to put on. I like how every episode a side character learns a lesson and believes Handa wanted to teach them. This show not only has character arcs for the side characters. Handa's character slowly evolves as the people around him befriend him.
