SO MANY LOOSE ENDS IN THIS ANIME.
This anime may have had potential in the beginning, but somewhere around episode 6 it started to fizzle out-.
What made it worse was the rushed ending to the season; it seemed as if the season COULD HAVE gone on for 24 episodes, to answer questions and to show more plot build before a final battle - but it did not.
In the last two episodes, MORE questions were made than answered, introducing more characters who we would not get to know their part in the who story as to WHY they were introduced.

A cutesy little anime showing the story of someone who started off travelling with the world's "Hero", but later became a solo adventurer. Rein develops a lot of new partners and friendships along the way - learning new skills while he's at it. While this is a fully developed story across the 13-episodes, it can certainly be flushed out further. Such examples of a (potential) season 2 could include what becomes of the hero and their party? Does Rein ever meet up with them again? Does the Hero become the BBEG and Rein take the place as world "Hero"? ... okay, that last on is

Okay, the show has an interesting premise - someone who would not otherwise belong somewhere is OP in that responsibility.
However, even though IKE (the main character grew up in this world and learned from his predecessor it fails to explain something critical - this is not an issekai, so how on (name planet of the show) does IKE know what a firearm is? It doesn't mention at all his origin from another world, nor anything of the like. He did not die and reincarnate (as far as we know) and yet he knows things that do not even belong in the world - that is ...

It is good...don't get me wrong. The storyline is a little different from others only in the sense that this individual dies and is brought to life in another world ... no wait. Well, in this story, there is a game master or world boss/god type being who really is psychotic ... no wait. What makes this different is that the main protagonist of this story is granted a special ability to help them succeed in their next life ... no, not that either.
Akira is found in a difficult situation in episode one, he is an individual who loves gaming more than real life, and ...
