Firstly i should mention that i may edit the review as the anime progresses and as I'm not really good at writing reviews please forgive me if my review isn't really good :X
Story: 8
Story is definitely decent, with good storyline and decent plot. The way the story progresses is also fine although it would be better if the side stories were slightly longer although i guess they don't have enough episodes to do it. There's enough excitement and action and although in very small amounts, a certain degree of mystery and suspense. While I would like it if the fights weren't too short, it's still
...
fine.
Art: 7
Well not really much to say here. Background isn't bad and the way they portrayed the scenery and landscape was pretty good. Character designs were also decent. My complaint here would be that why does Kirito always look like some crazed maniac/lunatic everytime he fights seriously? Well i understand that in a real fight people would make similar expressions but still....
Sound: 9
Nothing to complain here. The BGM suits each situation appropriately and the OP and ED are really great. Although the ED doesn't really fit the anime but well its still nice to listen to.
Characters: 9
The characters here are pretty great although i would prefer if there were more guys(I'm not saying the characters here are bad i just meant that there should be a few more guys or it just doesn't seem realistic). I especially like the main male and female protagonists as the male protagonist doesn't start out as some useless guy who suddenly becomes invincible in a short period of time and is actually quite capable on his own while at the same time not being completely overpowered. As for the main female protagonist, she is actually helpful and actually does help out the other characters alot unlike some female characters we see in some anime here and there that just comes into a fight and becomes a complete burden.
Enjoyment: 9
Ok I admit. I gave this 2 extra points as I am quite the hardcore gamer (although I'm not really into MMORPGS) and being able to play a game in a completely virtual environment (excluding the part where you die for real if you get killed in the game) is something that I would like to do. Also, while the fight scenes could be alot better, they aren't actually bad.
Overall: 8
Hmm this anime is actually quite overrated and it really gets alot more credit than it actually deserves. However, just because it's overrated doesn't mean it's bad. Although i say it isn't spectacular, it's definitely good and worth watching.

-Will edit as the show progresses-
Honestly I never really expected much to come out of watching this but well... i guess i didn't think I'd like this so much.
Story: Ok people randomly swapping bodies, how exactly can you say that THIS isn't original. I like how the story progresses with the characters trying their best to cope with the problems brought about by the body swapping business and *ahem* some other problems they face later on in the show. I also like how this anime doesn't force anything and the events somehow seems to fall into place on its own without anything being rushed. It's
...
also interesting how everything happens unexpectedly and when you expect something, something else happens instead.
Art: The art for this anime is actually quite well done. Nothing too spectacular but still very good nonetheless. The thing i like about the art is that although it's simple, it isn't excessive and it's still good. Character designs are also really great.
Sound: Well no complaints for the opening and ending, both are good and i think they're a factor that attracts people to watch this anime. The only complaint i have is that they really should have more OST's in this anime as i think there aren't enough. The current ending is especially good.
Character: 5 unique characters which are all interesting in their own right, what more can you ask for? Each character seems to each fill a role in the group and although they may appear to be just a slightly unordinary bunch of students, they are still interesting. Character development it also well paced and it's interesting to see the 5 of them as they deal with the problems that they face while helping each other with personal issues as well.
Enjoyment: Well i doubt that anybody can say that this anime is boring or anything like that. this anime is actually rather nice to watch although it may not exactly pull you in right from the start. Give it some time and it'll definitely prove that it's worth watching.
Overall: Worth watching, possibly the best anime for the year although it's hard to say at the moment. Nevertheless don't skip this anime without giving it a try if not you'll be missing out on something really good

Hmm first off all i should apologise if i included too many spoilers although I'll try to reduce them as much as possible.
Hmm I'm not really into gender benders but i decided to pick this up because of a sudden interest in sports manga *cough* Kuroko No Basket * cough* even though I'm actually horrible at sports. I found the plot of this manga to be actually captivating to a certain extent and i was slightly touched by some of the scenes.
The characters of this manga were decent. Not really THAT unique but at least they're slightly better than average. I liked the character
...
development quite a bit and also how they focus mainly on the ski jumping area while including romance and comedy in adequate but not so much that the manga becomes a romance comedy.
Another plus point is that although the main character from this manga is clearly better than average, she isn't too talented or unbeatable. I also liked how it showed the problems faced by athletes who end up losing major competitions such as constant bashing by others ( not that I'm a sadist).
Overall, this manga isn't extremely good or special but is still worth the watch if you have the sudden urge to read an interesting sports manga

I actually found this anime 2 years ago but at that time i wasn't really interested in anime of this genre so i didnt watch past episode 1. When i found it again i had already decided that the most emotional and moving anime would be Clannad and Angel Beats! therefore i didn't expect much. Thinking back i feel like laughing at myself.
Before i begin my review i have to apologize if my review contains any form of spoilers although i will try to minimize them.
Story: I really liked this anime for its extremely deep and moving storyline. Besides this i also liked how it
...
was able to swing back and forth from the past to the present and back to the past. Even more than that it seemed as if switching from the past and present times helped to fill up the missing parts. I also liked how this anime shows how tragic incidents can affect people and invokes a lot of thinking on various subjects such as " is it better to die with your loved ones or live knowing that you left them to die". Besides that, this anime also shows you a little on how harsh the world can be at times but at the same time it also shows you that there are people who will be there for you even if its just 1.
Art: I really liked the art as it made the whole anime feel so real, as if you were watching the events in the anime happen in reality. I also have to say that the designs were great and the background and other effects were really magnificent.
Sound: Here we find a slight flaw in the anime. While i have no complaints with the soundtracks i sort of prefer those in the previous ef series with the exception of the opening - Ebullient Future - which i liked alot. But either way the timing for every sound effects were well done and the music complimented each scene quite well.
Character: Ahh the part i was looking forward to typing about the most. I really love the characters here from the naive young Himura and his kind but indirect older self, Kuze who seems like such a nice and easygoing person while harbouring a great burden and so on. The characters all have their own burdens to deal with although eventually they are finally able to resolve them. An interesting fact to point out is that with the exclusion of Akane, Nagi and Akira, the characters are all the same as the 1st season except this time the main characters of the 1st ef series now become supporting characters while supporting characters now become the main characters, with the exception of Emi.
Enjoyment: Hmm truth to be told. You probably wouldn't find yourself absorbed into it until you watched a few episodes. You may even need to rewatch the series to get attached to it. However, once you get pulled in you can't ever get out. A good tip for those who aren't patient is to watch this anime when you're bored or when you have alot of free time which you have no idea how to waste.
Overall: You would probably need a little patience with this anime but you would definitely love it if you give it a chance and watch every episode to the end. you would definitely find it worth your while.

Hmm i suppose it may be a little too early to write a review considering that its still quite early in the anime so pardon me if my review isn't too good.
Story: Once again i'll repeat that its only been 5 episodes but i think that this anime has quite a good story. It has unpredictability and sometimes you wouldn't expect the things that did happen to happen.
Art: Character designs and background are decent at least. KyoAni as usual does quite a good job with the anime they produce. The art is elaborate and makes you feel like the place is real.
Sound: Hmm I
...
have to say i do like the OST's for this anime especially the opening ( probably coz im a fan of choucho though) I also find the voices to be decent ( especially Nakamura Yuuichi /o.o/)
Character: Characters are interesting and although may be not to a very large extent, unique. For example, we get a male character who helps others occasionally, not really special. That male character has quite good deductive skills, maybe not so special but definitely not common. He doesn't like wasting energy unless absolutely necessary, quite special. When he helps others it's normally because he has to do it or he has to waste even more time later, definitely not common.
Enjoyment: Definitely will help you kill some time when you're bored or want to watch something you should give it a try. It may seem a little plain at first but it slowly becomes more and more special.
Overall: First of all: confession. To be truthful i was rather skeptical when i started to watch this anime. After the 1st ep i thought it would be able to kill some time. Howerver, after watching 2-3 episodes i began to slowly find this anime more and more interesting and i can say now that while its not certain, this anime has potential to be the best anime this season and maybe even the best this year.

I actually started reading this manga one fine day when i was bored to death. To be honest back then i didn't expect much and just wanted to kill some time, oh how stunned i was when i found out how much i liked it
Story: Since the beginning of manga we have seen invincible main protagonists being able to solve everything almost on his own. In Iris Zero however, the main protagonist, Mizushima Toru, is actually powerless, gets bullied and wants as little attention as possible. Although his intelligence is above average and he can read others quite easily, he normally requires the help of
...
his friends when dealing with problematic situations. This is a plus point as it makes it easy for us to relate to him as he isn't all that different from us.
Art: Hmm no real complaints here the art isn't THAT good but its definitely decent and clear. Backgrounds and other stuff are quite well drawn actually and art is definitely showing signs of improvement.
Character: Unique characters with their own traits working with each other and making up for each others failings. The character development is well paced. Unlike a lot of other manga and anime, love isn't forced or too dramatic. Character designs are quite good so no problems there. Also its good that there's no harem or anything like that.
Enjoyment: Interesting and definitely brings enjoyment. The story isn't that complex but at the same time it makes you go at its pace. By some point you'll find yourself hooked.
Overall: Definitely one of the better manga out there. If you haven't read it yet you should start it's definitely worth the time spent.

Special episode of Angel Beats! Although this isn't part of the main story, it's still worth the watch.
Story: Interesting enough story and plot, As usual, the twists are really funny and it makes you want to watch this again and again.
Art: As usual, the art was done very well and there isn't much to complain about.
Sound: Sounds are put in appropriate moments that suit the situation, making the show even better. Nothing much to say about the opening and ending as its the same as the main story.
Character: Same characters with really interesting funny sides to them. Nothing much to comment about.
Enjoyment: This episode in
...
itself can be used as a form of murder by making a person laugh to his death. Complete with epic and fail moments, this episode is 1 thats worth watching again and again without ever getting bored of the interesting gimmicks and twists.
Overall: Definitely worth watching although it would be nice if there was more to it, but i guess we shouldn't ask for too much. Give it a chance and you won't regret it.

Once again Key makes it's mark on the world by introducing yet another masterpiece. What is it? Of course it's Angel Beats! After creating many great pieces like Kanon, Air and how can we forget Clannad, we now arrive at Angel Beats! something that is definitely on par with all its other great pieces of work.
Story : 10
Considering that the anime only had 13 episodes, excluding the special 14th episode and alternate ending, it was able to mesh in a great story. character development that isn't too rushed or too slow and a very interesting plot twist. Although i wish that we could have a
...
2nd season, i also feel that continuing this series may not make this show any greater and may even make it worse.
Art: 10
Just like the other works, the art is easy on the eyes but vibrant and really brings the best out of the characters.
Sound: 10
Sometimes a very good anime can make a person hate it just because the songs, soundtracks, voices are ridiculously annoying. Fortunately this isn't one of those. the songs are really nice and relaxing and the soundtracks suits the situation.
Character: 10
A mesh of characters with unique personalities who make the people who watch this anime feel for each and every one of them. Every single character has some kind of past that makes you feel sorry for them and think about how strong they are. On another note, unlike a large variety of anime these days, there isnt a boy:girl ratio of 1:5. Furthermore, instead of trying to gain popularity by giving a lot of 'fan service', they focus on making every character worth caring about.
Enjoyment: 10
This anime, once again like it's predecessors, is really entertaining. It's filled with tearjerking moments, hilarious moments, touching scenes, etc etc etc. It brings you plenty of enjoyment for when your bored, feeling down or actually any other time.
Overall: 10
To sum everything up, this anime is definitely a masterpieces, reaching my top favourites. To me this anime invokes a lot of thought and makes you learn to cherish everything you have in life. It also teaches you the importance of helping others and that everybody lives for a reason and can do something to help another.
