Saint Seiya is a well known classic, and one of the first anime/manga that anime lovers watch/read from their childhood..
Saint Seiya next dimension takes place mostly in the 18th century, the previous holy war between Athena and Hades, mixed up with the 20th century after Athena and her saints defeating Hades. But if u expect to see the same characters from lost canvas,, then your wrong.
Kurumada is the one in charge of everything here, so the characters including the gold saints are different from Lost canvas. there are a lot of betrayals among the saints, which we did not see so often in the ... other series of saint seiya, and the story is almost the same as the original sanctuary arc from the first saint seiya manga. like the pop trying to kill the baby Athena with the same knife, a gold saint saving her and being announced as a traitor...
but even though a lot of stuff look the same as the original, its a manga that any saint seiya fan would certainly enjoy.. the fights are amazing as always, a lot of new things are there, new god, witches, even Artemis and touma are present.
Even if you are new to saint seiya, you will still enjoy this manga. but don't read this expecting that the events from the previous holy war are the same as the ones from lost canvas.
i would just suggest you to stop reading reviews , go ahead and start reading it. you will not be disappointed. But i think you would understand this better if you read the original manga first.

NOTICE: if you are looking for an anime that has a good plot, worth of the time you spend watching then you shoulent watch this.

Story/Character:
i heard a lot about shuffle so i was expecting a bit more from this anime..but it really disappointed me..
the story is about an average guy which girls fall in love with for no reason.
the demon and god girl met him 8 years ago, i don't even think it is possible for a kid that young to fall in love in the first place. just because they played together for 1 day.. well at least kaede made more sense, since she ... lives together with Rin..
The main character isn't bad, just average and nothing special about him.
the first 2 episodes weren't that bad, but it just got too boring and i couldn't stand it anymore, the girls just throw them selves at the main character just by seeing him once in the past..
i tried giving shuffle! a chance and thought it might improve, but no, there was no improvement and the story continued moving on with the boring episodic stories, it was like they were just dragging th story and trying hard to make something out of it.
Art:
The art is not bad, though it is nothing impressing either. its average.

Sound:
Not good. the opening was annoying i coulent stand it, though the sounf effects in the series wasent that bad.

Enjoyment:
Didnt enjoy at all.

Overall:
The only thing that i will encourage you to watch shuffle is if you really like comedy with no meaning and random and unreasonable romance in between, fathers and parents who act like 2 years old kids, then you should go ahead and give this a try.

Story 9:
the story was original and different, it keeps you interested in the anime with all the mystery thing going on. i found it interesting but it had its lacks... i had no complains about it until the last episode, it would give this unrealistic effect to the person whos watching, this may be abit of spoiler,, but the last episode was kinda of wired, there would be no point in trying to stop the class 3 curse when pretty much almost every one was dead...
but i think they did a good job with the story, even though every thing is a mystery but ... is doesn't seem complicated..

Art 9:
i really don't have any complains about the art. it was truly well done.. the characters design and the animation in total, gives you the feeling of "Creepy cute" which is good for a horror anime, the colors are just amazing. theres not much to say about it because its great..

Sound 9:
one of the most important things about horror is the sound effects, and in Another the sound and music choice was just right..they would create the creepy atmosphere that was needed..i liked the opening song it was just perfectly selected..

character7:
well since the anime is not based on such a long period od time, i dont think character development would really be expected here. the characters would make you want to know more about them, their past and whats on their mind, which is a good achievement since it is mystery and horror.. but at the end, what happened just didn't seem right..it is just too wired and unrealistic even for an anime.. so i was kind of shocked by them in the final episode, i think the only problem of the series was the way they made the characters act, everybody just went mad...i liked the actual way that things ended but the process of it was just...( its so hard to describe without giving spoilers -.- )
and one other thing about the characters is that anyone in that situation wouldn't be able to live on just like that and continue school like nothing major is happening..seeing so many deaths wouldn't make any difference for them and their reactions were unnatural..

Enjoyment 8/Overall 7:
i think this was a good series to watch and it was worth the time..i personally love horror and mystery so i enjoyed it a lot, but if you are not a fan of bloody scenes, horror, killing and get scared easily i don't recommend you to watch it..

First thing to say about this anime is if you don’t like Boy x Boy love just drop it right now…
For me, gravitation was the first yaoi anime that I watched, and it will probably be the best one. The characters are cute and funny; I still laugh and enjoy them every time I re-watch it. The story doesn’t have anything new in it, the clumsy and persistent guy falls in love with the cold hearted hot guy with a dark past. But the way the present it keeps you entertained.
Although if you like anime with a serious and in depth plot with a lot ... of meaning I don’t recommend you watching this.
It is an anime that will make you forget everything and laugh at the silly things that happen. I won’t get tired of watching it all over again every time.
The art is pretty good for anime made in 2000. The character designs are nice cute and interesting. Although it has some real world pictures mixed up in it in some episodes, but come on! It was made in 2000 so I don’t think it is bad…
Overall I enjoyed this very much and it will be one of my favorite animes in enjoyment... Whenever I feel down or upset it just makes me forget about the problems so I think you should give this a try..

Story 8:
This anime is unique in its own way, different from the typical paranormal animes, it is realistic and you don’t get the feeling that the cases can only happen in anime world. The anime is divided into several Cases, and it doesn't follow a main plot, which was one of things that I didn't like that much… but it was still interesting and kept me watching.
One of the things that I liked the most was that all cases had this Detective and mystery thing going on. It gives you a feeling of ... supernatural police that are tracking down criminals and solving mysteries.
Though the ending wasn't on of the best but it wasn't one of the worst endings that I have seen. The problem was that someone who only watched the anime will think that there is something missing and there are still some unexplained points...

Art 9:
The art in the series was really nice and one of the main reasons that made me start watching it. The characters are different from each other and you can easily tell them apart even if you change their hair and colors. Their design was attractive and the effects were well done throughout the series...

Sound 7:
I don’t really have much to say about it but the opening and ending of ghost hunt wasn’t really something that you could compliment… it had no lyrics and kind of got me board so I would usually skip them. But the sound effects in it were good though there was nothing special about it either…

Character 9:
The characters were really interesting. None of them were a beauty queen or perfect, all had their weaknesses but they develop, grow and learn from each other. They knew their limits and would admit them instead of being the “I can do everything” person, which I really appreciated.
There isn’t an all mighty character that has the power to do everything and all characters have their weaknesses but they manage to work it out in the end...
In the end of it you can actually tell the difference between the characters behavior and see the growth of them together.
I absolutely loved the characters in this anime and I think almost anyone who watches it will enjoy them as much as I do.

If you enjoy anime with mystery, detective anime with a bit of horror (though it isn’t that much) then I think you will surely enjoy this.
