They have the same premise: both MCs are heroes that managed to defeat the Demon Lord and save the world, but after that they're betrayed and killed by those they've saved (in both the mastermind behind this action is a princess). Then, they've been resurrected (by a goddes in Fukushuu and as a second chance, like in a game, in Nidome) and both decided to seek revenge against the princess and the other people in this fantasy world.

Both are Chinese anime with fantasy, magic and fighting scenes; MCs are OP with unique skills (magic in Quanzhi Fashi, mental and gaming abilities in Quanzhi Gaoshou). Both MCs are hiding something: as for the MC from Quanzhi Gaoshou, it's his true identity, while MC from Quanzhi Gaoshou it's his double magic ability. They're very fond and protective to people close to them (Su Mucheng in Quanzhi Gaoshou and Xin Xia in Quanzhi Fashi).

Both MCs are gamers in their real life and part of a guild, though only the protagonist of Quanzhi Gaoshou is a pro gamer. In these MMO-RPG (Yggdrasil for Overlord and GLORY for Quanzhi) you can choose from a vast variety of classes in order to create your avatar. Both MCs are overpowered and no one can defeat them; they can use unique skills and weapons and they are more experienced than everyone else. Both anime's focus is on MC himself and fighting against other users (Quanzhi) and/or NPC (Overlord).

Both anime are about the relationship between a human and a cat and the story is told from both their points of view. Both human characters, at the start of the story, don't like having a pet that much (little Miyu from "Kanojo" was about to leave her cat, Daru, behind), but as the story proceeds the bond between them grows stronger.

They're two spokon anime, Haikyuu in indeed about volleyball, while Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru is about running. In each one of them the real protagonist is the team and every single member has his own importance in that; they work so hard to gain what they want and eventually they manage to strengthen their bonds. We have some comedy and funny scenes, but the main focus is on matches (Haikyuu) and races (Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru).

Both MCs have unique powers they're using for protecting the people they hold dear. We have a school-life setting, mecha battles and military/politics themes as well. The relation between L-elf and Haruto is rather similar to that between Suzaku and Lelouch. There's some romance too involving the MCs.

Both stories are about two childhood friends attending high school together, in which one of them start feeling something for the other. The girl in this kinda couple is a tomboy and enjoy hanging out with guys rather than girl (although Tomo has some female friends since the story start). There are some funny scenes involving MCs and other secondary characters that make this two mangas very readable.

MCs are both summoned heroes in another world in order to kill the Demon Lord (Nidome) and fiends crawled out from dimensional cracks (Tate no Yuusha). This new world seems like an online videogame, they can open a menu in which are listed their unlocked abilities and equipment. They were both betrayed by their first comrades and decided to take their revenge against them. To do so, they can only rely on a demihuman girl bought from a slaver. And finally, both MCs have unique abilities distinguishing them from all other adventures.
