Another Divinez sequel no one asked for. Plot makes no sense. Most characters are poorly written and boring. The fights are at best ok, when the annoying characters are not screaming like crazy. A lot of strange decision making. I'm pretty sure they use ChatGPT to write the plot at this point.

Historically, Vanguard's anime was never a 10/10, but it used to be good before the V era. V era killed it and alienated a lot of players due to being a reboot. Then Overdress came around with another reboot to fix it... and the anime for that was ok, maybe average at best. Divinez, ...

Mixed Feelings
A show that tackles the moral loopholes of some strange and strict Japanese laws... Or so I though when I watched the first episode.

The more episodes I saw the more boring it got, to the point where I was was so uninterested in the story that I started staring at the animation on screen... and boy is it bad. Characters designs are inconsistent and misplaced lines are too noticeable. It feels like they went purely on drafts and never looked back. The motion is also off all the time.

I'm surprised to see a lot of reviews with grades below 6 from people that didn't see more than 4 episodes. Violet Evergarden is a dialogue driven drama that became my "weekly dose of uncontrollable crying" since ep. 5. You can't expect a show about a girl that writes letters to be an action packed sakuga fest because you saw a trailer with some sequences of war. This is a psychological "coming of age" story about different forms of love and about overcoming ptsd. It is what it is, so it must be judged by that, not by vaguely founded expectations.
