Story 9/10
Truly interesting and unique premise. I felt like the story had a good flow, it catches you and you get interested on the goal of the characters: to find Hiroshi. You want to know if he is alive, how he is, etc. Nothing felt rushed of forced.
Art 10/10
Godness, the desings of the characters are wonderful, the style, the animation, the detailed backgrounds, everything was amazing. A characteristic about the director Yamamoto is that the clothes/hairstyle of the characters change through the series, and I loved that. It gives them another layer of realism and is artistically pleasing to see new desings with every
...
episode. The ambient was so well made, the places, the language, the people, the vehicles, I truly felt like I was looking at brazil.
Sound 9/10
I'm not a big fan of the genre but damn, I grooved with some songs, mostly of the background songs on the episodes. The op is meh to me, but I could find myself humming it hahah. The ed is also ok, but I think all of the OST fits perfectly with the series. The sound effects where quite good too.
Characters 10/10
The main cast is great, you get attached to Hatchin because how strong is she (to the very end). Michiko is a refreshing main character for the anime industry in my opinion. Getting to know all the new characters every episode was really enjoyable for me. The characters and their interactions made you remember how cruel is this world, and that nobody is totally a hero or a bad guy, and that actions have consequences. I felt like all of that makes them more realistic. And their backstories where told with such a natural flow to it, I liked that a lot, and I think that is important. First you need to care/get interested in this characters before hearing his backstory in order to fully enjoy it.
Enjoyment 8/10
I got catched up with the story even tho I'm not a fan of the genre, I was too curious about how everything would end, and I enjoyed the ride. I didn't cry or got too much excited (except with the last episode... oh man) but I really loved learning about the characters and their stories and relationships, listening to the music and the well made scenes (sometimes I could go "damn... this scene didn't had any dialogue and it said so much in a smooth way) and also looking at the beautiful art.
Overal 9/10
It was just amazing, a hidden gem from 2008.

This movie was more than I expected hhahaha
Story 9/10:
The story is simply great and original! I´ve never seen a movie where descendents of a old samurai family tried to fight against an AI trought the internet hahahah.
Why not a 10/10? the last 30 minutes where really weird in terms how things in-world worked. At some point it was pretty absurd (I know this is sci-fi but still made me feel weird hahah)
Art 10/10:
The animation was AMAZING in action scenes and even in normal and slow scenes, I loved it.
The art style is precious too, the sky and backgrounds really settle the place. (I wanted to
...
go to a rural house!)
Sound 6/10:
To be honest, I didnt paid much attention, but I can still say it was at least fair hahaha. Maybe in a rewatch my opinion will change this.
Character 8/10:
I loved all of them, especialy as a family. And they where a LOT.
The main character is easily lovable and the grandma too. The only one I felt it was undeveloped was Natsuki but anyways, not everyone can win, right? hahah
My favourite so far was Kazuma (I mean, he started learning <martial arts> because he was bullied? thats freaking awesome.)
Enjoyment 10/10:
I loved this movie, the theme of AI, hacking and tech made me watch it. Even tho is not exactly what I imagine, it was equally great. I liked the mix of the technology and the traditional. Also the comedy was on point (PD: Kenji a cutie)
Overall 9/10:
Really good movie, it was really fun to watch and the premise is truly original!

This is gonna be a really direct review. This anime was a weird ride.
Spoiler free review!
Story (4/10):
The plot was interesting at first but none of it was developed, its like they forgot halfway what the series was about. Like who whas the girl on the dragon? for what purpose do dragon child exist? etc... There was actual good episodes like the last ones that had amazing escenes that fucked you up... like seriously, specially if you started watching this like it was a kids anime like pokemon or something.
Art(1/10):
Terrible art style, out of porpotion and terrible animation (you could be staring at someone´s face for
...
like 5 minutes... they had a low budget without a doubt..)
Sound(9/10):
The opening was incredibly good, the ending too.
But the music on creepy scenes was amazing, it actually makes you feel weird and into it.
Really good, I didnt expect it haha.
Characters(5/10):
Weird ass characters, holy shit. The dialogues and scenes made me go "wat" so many times hahaha, but this made them interesting.
They actually werent that bad, they were just undeveloped.
Enjoyment(8/10):
Even tho, this anime was pretty bad, but I enjoyed it! The plot was interesting so far, too bad it was so badly made. The weird and fuckep up scenes where the ones I liked the most, it reminded me of Evangelion.
The name of the episodes where neat too.
Overall(4/10):
The last rating for this anime was the hardest to choose (I was between 4-5-6) but anyways.
The kind of shitty anime that could have been something great.

This is a story that may look kinda boring at first, but I think the things that actually happened werent boring at all, neither the characters.
It wasnt over dramatic or try hard at all, the flow of the story was pretty nice and comfortable, until the climax episode, where it go from 0 to 100 real quick.
The comedy was great and the characters where lovable (it didnt had many stereotypes, maybe like, the cute little sister haha)
The last episodes where really intense and amazing.
Story 9/10
Like I said, it may look kinda like an x-men slice of life anime or something like that, but it was
...
more interesting, with more doubts and danger, with some pretty original details in my opinion. It wasnt rushed at all, the episodes that covered long lapses of time, actually felt more long than others. The romance wasnt an important point in the plot, and I actually think it was the best choice (its better than a forced romance and ooc reactions in my opinion)
Art 7/10
The art style isnt my favourite, but it was really nice.
They put a lot of effort on stars, eyes and expressions. Also the character desings where pretty neat.
Sound 6/10
Normal soundtrack, it wasnt amazing or anything.
Character 9/10
Likeable characters, pretty originals and with great backstories.
( Nao wasnt either tsundere or kuudere or anything like that, she was just like a normal girl, and I loved that.)
Enjoyment 9/10
I truly liked this anime, more than I expected to be honest ahhaha.
Im a big fan of plot twist and stuff.
Overall 9/10
Hella funny, misterious, exciting, and even sad in the right moments.

The first 6 episodes where just shit, cringy and pretentious kind of shit.
But then, the actual plot came up at the 7 or 8 episode, and it got kinda interesting, but, it ended terrible too.
It had so much potential, and it turned out just terrible.
At some point, I felt like two people worked on this: the first person who had the basic idea of the plot, and the second person who worked all this amazing plot and wrote it all like a 10 years old kid, making every character cry over anything and making it like it was a dramatic master piece.
Its sad when some
...
anime have some amazing character desings and use them for... for this kind of mounstruocity.
