The two of them are short stories about a kid that gets to know a classmate who is trying to hide their family issues. Both mangas show how that classmate changes the kid's life and they deal with bad parenting, coming out of age, and death.

If you liked Working!! add

...then you might like Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun add

The two of them are comedies with a bit of romance about students working either in a restaurant (Working!!) or as manga assistants (Gekkan shoujo). The best part of both of them is their characters and the relationships between them. If you liked Working!!'s sense of humour, you'll probably like Gekkan shoujo and vice versa.

The two of them feature a religious organization whose mission is to fight against demons and they happen after an important war. The characters are really similar: -Rose and Rosette are both nuns, they are known for being quite aggressive and are usually punished by their superiors. -Iota and Chrno have a somewhat childish behaviour most of the time, but they know when to get serious. They used to be very powerful, but they don't have as much power as before for some reason. Also, both are often told off by the main girl. -Ruh and Azmaria possess heavenly power and, because of that, they have been used by others since childhood. -Katan and Aion had a close relatioship with Iota and Chrno, but they ended up fighting because of their ideals.
