-both are educational shows about historical figures, TTS about scientists and classicaloid about classical musicians -pretty childish humor, especially in time travel shoujo -both are aimed towards a general public, no swearing, no boobs, no violence -semi-episodic format with some kind of plot going on -TTS takes itself serious, while classicaloid is just a bunch of wtf moments -in the same line, TTS is way more educational than classicaloid

Educational(kinda): both are meant to be educational, Hetalia explains history and Classicaloid classical music, but in their own wacky ways Absurd Comedy: although comedy in classicaloid is way more childish and hetalia risks a bit more with adult-like humour, both share a ridiculous kind of humor with a lot of "wtf?!" moments going on Likable and similar characters: hetalia has embodied countries that represent their each stereotype, classicaloid artificial classical musicians that are exaggerations of the actual musicians. Both have great designs and are likeable, though not so deep
