I did cry during one scene, so this OVA was almost perfection. Montages were cute, conversations felt real enough, the emotions of the characters were beautifully shown, and the battle-scene-alternate-universe metaphor was well-done.
... Then I realized that no one learned their lesson. The post-credits scene made it worse. Am I supposed to only have one friend? Am I supposed to disappear to make my bestie worry and suffer so that they pay attention to me? That sounds like a wonderful idea according to this anime.
