Highschool of the Dead in a nutshell: boobs + some zombies
The story for Highschool of the Dead is pretty simple. It wasn't good, but it also wasn't bad. It's okay at best. I have to admit that the beginning episodes were actually quite interesting. They managed to keep a somewhat serious tone for a while. As the story went on, it started to focus more on the characters rather than the zombie outbreak happening outside. The fan service became more frequent. I'm personally not against fan service. I like it if it's used for comedic purposes, but if the main focus is to try
...
to get the audience to masturbate... it's kind of annoying.
There was one episode where all the girls were taking a bath and trying to get Takashi's D. The only character actually focusing on the apocalypse during that time would be Kohta.

The was nice, I guess. I don't really criticize a show for being too ugly, but I guess you could say I liked it.
Sound: 5
I didn't like the OP or ED. THe voice acting was okay. The music was nice. It fit some of the scenes.
Character: 3
The character development, as I suspected, was just awful. These types of characters are extremely similar to the ones used in 11eyes. There was only one character I truly liked and it was Kohta. For most of the series, he was Alpha. Saeko was a bit interesting, but I've seen sadists before. Rei is just another childhood friend who is annoying and was in love with the main character's best friend not too long ago, but he doesn't seem to mind. Saya is the rich girl who thinks she's superior to everyone in the group. Shizuka is a dumb blonde nurse with big boobs. Alice.. is just there for the sake of moe or something. Kohta is a gun otaku and is actually useful. Takahi is just a normal guy. He is pretty useless... He also looks a LOT like this guy.. http://myanimelist.net/character/3397/Kazuki_Muto
Every other character is pretty much dead. It's not the best characters, but I guess it's a decent zombie killing team.
Enjoyment: 4
It was enjoyable to an extent. Some episodes were just boring. Some were interesting.
Overall: 4
I have nothing to say other than.. disappointing.

Myself;Yourself, from a first glance, looks as if it would be just another harem with similar aspects to any other. It does have some things that are quite similar and repetitive to this genre (e.g. just transferred in). This story is still kind of predictable but not as much many others. The ending wasn't the best though. It seemed kind of rushed (time skip was kind of random) and left a couple of questions unanswered (like what happened to Suusuke and Shuri??)that will probably remain unanswered. I'm not sure if they're answered in the visual novel or not because I have not played this one.
...
This show could've done a lot better if they had a bit more episodes.
Art: 6
The artwork was pretty good. I liked the character designs.
Sound: 6
The sound is also pretty good. I happen to be a huge fan of the violin (I don't know how to play one though ;n;).
Character: 7
The characters were somewhat interesting. They kind of did something new (not really new) and out of the ordinary (except for the annoying high-pitched girl.. that is used quite a lot). I would've liked for Aoi to have more of a story.
Enjoyment: 6
I enjoyed watching this. The characters were okay and the story was.. "unique".
Overall: 6
This show isn't the greatest show out there, but it is a nice watch nonetheless.

Mashiroiro Symphony is an adaptation of the eroge. I've never played the eroge, so it's kind of hard to really understand how the story was supposed to play out.
The story was kind of everywhere. It jumped from one girl to another and it was pretty obvious too. After Sena and he had gotten into a bath together, they never really talked to each other after that. It was really confusing because I thought they had become close or something after doing something like that. Anyway, I guess the story tried to get some story about all characters to fit into the 12 episode limit that
...
they have been given which ended up messing the show up quite a bit because each girl pretty much gets pushed to the background after they have been in a few episodes.
Art: 5
Nothing really needs to be said about art rather than average. Standard modern artwork.
Sound: 6
I happened to like the OP, but everything else was pretty normal.
Character: 3
The characters weren't really developed that much. They're just characters with pretty faces. Sana is like the only character with development, but she is just a crybaby which is boring.
Shingo is the typical male harem character:
-Just transferred in
-Well-mannered
-Nice
-Good boy
Enjoyment: 4
This show is not really interesting, but I finished it just for the sake of completing it.
Overall 4:
This show is really nothing more than another show with pretty faces and it was kind of confusing since it kept jumping from one thing to another. This show is pretty much another average harem and somewhat bad.

Infinite Stratos... Oh boy, where do I start?
Infinite Stratos is THE ultimate harem. The main character is a retard who happens to be the ONLY male in the world to be able to operate an IS. The reasoning for this is explained later in the series, but if you haven't watched it then I won't say how. Did I mention how he had a sister complex? Anyway, this show contains almost all the harem cliched elements that one show could have.
Elements:
[X] Tsundere
[X] Robot Girl (Laura)
[X] Retarded male character
[XX] Childhood friends
[X] Girl with glasses
[X] Reverse trap
...
[X] Bossy older sister
[X] Main character walks into someone else changing (This happens way too often -___-)
Those are the things that I remember seeing off the top of my head. I watched the show around 3 months ago and just now decided to write reviews. Anyway, Ichika is also oblivious to the extremely obvious signs that the females are giving showing that they want the D and it's not even funny. It's actually really annoying and stupid.
I think this is how it went down:
Ichika: "I'll go out with you."
Houki: "R-really?!"
Ichika: "Out shopping that is!"
Me + Houki: -_____-
Art: 5
The artwork is average. It doesn't look any different than any other show that aired around the same time. Pretty standard modern anime designs. Nothing too special.
Sound: 6
The sound is average, but I really liked the ED. I downloaded the song. Nothing really needs to be said about this other than average.
Character: 3
The characters are pretty bad. Cecilia was really annoying and went from tsun to dere in one episode. It might not really be a big deal, but that's just not right. Ichika is a complete idiot and gives off the idea that he has no fucking clue what is going on around him and somehow that gives him the attention of the entire academy. The girls there must have low standards or not like men with brains at that school.
Enjoyment: 4
Honestly, the only thing I enjoyed about this show would have to be Charlotte. I'm a huge moefag and she was just adorable.
Overall: 4
This show is really no different than any other harem. It's pretty average. If you like average, then this is the show for you. If you like looking at pretty faces, then I recommend you watch this show.

Mirai Nikki, in all honesty, was a pretty bad show. The beginning of the show wasn't that bad. As the show continued on, it tried mixing in a lot of things which eventually made the story a complete mess. It felt like they were adding in random shit as it went along and was really nothing but senseless fighting.
Yukiteru was a really bad character and got on my nerves a lot. I understand how being in a situation like that would leave someone frightened, but he pretty much let Yuno do his dirty work for the entirety of the show. He was also really stupid.
(spoiler)
When
...
his dad murdered his mom and left him on a building to die, he forgave him for all of it for some stupid cliche childhood promise of looking through a fucking telescope to stare at some stars.
(/spoiler)
Art:
The art was average. It wasn't bad, and it wasn't good at the same time. The animation of Deus was quite different from everyone else though.
Sound:
I really liked the first theme song. It was a lot better than the second one. The voices kind of matched the characters (especially Yuki for being a huge faggot).
Character:
There really wasn't much character development. This is mainly because everyone gets killed of too quickly. Minene and Keigo are the only exceptions to this.
Enjoyment:
This show was somewhat enjoyable. I liked Minene. Everything else was honestly for the shits and giggles.
Overall: 3
This review is kind of all over the place because I watched this show a long time ago but just now decided to write a review about it.
