Okay, so this anime is called 1 + 2 = Paradise

I will be honest, I only watched this because I wanted to see how it played out, I wasn't too surprised as most of it was somewhat expected.

First the story - boy gets 2 sisters ( not his sisters mind you ) living with him, ah a classic love triangle, right? Wrong. it turns out he is scared stiff of women due to an incident with two sisters in his youth. I won't spoil anything there.

Art - Here's where I feel it falls short, The art was okay for the first episode, but I think ... the art did a massive change in the 2nd episode, being from 1990 you can't really rate it higher either.

Sound - a lot of dialogue composed of "Ah! Yuusuke-kuuuuun" gets on your nerves after a while, but it was okay I guess.

Character - given a 4 because that's literally how many characters there are, not much to say apart from the fact just having the 2 sisters and Yuusuke.

Enjoyment - for a show from over 20 years ago it wasn't that bad, it was similar to the KissXSis of that era, I suppose.

Overall - Fair Number Six

Never really thought I would review this anime, and now I am.

Well,
I enjoyed the series, it was very dramatic and shows how a relationship can turn from good to bad to... well i'm not going into that

there was an interesting lot of characters, all but 2 were girls, not very original in the Harem anime department, but the different characteristics of each character is why I rated it as a 9

The Art
It was very good, the way they used dark colours when dramatic moments occured was very well done. The reason I didn't give it a 9 or a 10 was ... due to one thing, ecchi, although it wasn't a dominant genre, it was visibly there. There is probably more ecchi in the opening song than the whole series to be honest.

Sound!
Well, with 1 opening song and 12 ending songs, the sound department is by far a good 9, The opening can confuse you, you may think it is a Yuri anime due to the opening, which infact put me off this series for quite some time.

Overall I end this review with a 9

Ladies Versus Butlers! The first anime in 2010 i planned, and eventually did watch.

It wasn't bad.. but it wasn't good either,
Reasons Why:

Pros = Gave a new harem twist to anime
Intresting characters, the tsundere, the childhood friend, the lolicon, etc etc

Cons:
From the title, you'd assume this was an action title.. heh, action..
... Which relates to my next point, the ecchi, yes, the ecchi.

Ecchi anime certainly have comedic value, but I feel that this was way too much ecchi, even for an R+ anime, i was quite shocked.

This is no Ichigo 100% with almost constant panty shots
It's more of a combination of Hanaukyo Maid Team and Ikkitousen (Battle Vixens)
Cleavage and Nudity, now for those who like ecchi i'm sure this would get a full 10

but from me it gets a 7

Le Portrait de Petite Cosette explains that a picture really is worth a thousand words, this 3 part OVA, which I watched in the form of a movie was very detailled and artistically haunting to the touch.

We follow a young man named Eiri (Eerie? Pun intended much?)
There are a lot of gory scenes of the story, most very central yet some wer random at best.

Yet the scenes of which portrayed the most misery and pain for Eiri weren't actually the scary ones.

A must recommend for those interested in mystery horror type stories.

I absolutely loved Death Note from episode 1 right to the end, It is a very good horror anime with not that much comedy, yet I still enjoyed it.

The characters of the story, particularly Light Yagami, with his dual personality really deserves an extra point on the character part.

The story was also very well planned out over the 37 episode run, and I personally felt that it deserved to be that little bit longer to see what would happen next with the other main characters.

The art was just amazing, the way they used different colours in thought sequences was very good too, also that the ... characters actually looked their age for once.

I really really enjoyed this series so it gets a big 10 out of 10 from me!

I recently just got into this anime after being referred to it by a work friend, I began watching it and I thought it was actually really good despite the randomness and mad characters.

Story - 7 / 10

The reason I rated it as a 7 is because there were many subplots but not an actual big plot as the episodes were rather random yet funny

Art - 9 / 10

Good art, quite a lot of violence, gore or not, but still very good art, although the 2nd female protagonist's outfit was exaggerated quite harshly

... Sound - 10 / 10

Great quality sound, although I am not sure if this is because I had new speakers at the time, but I loved how the characters sounded

Character - 8 / 10
Again good characters. 2 female protagonists, many side characters and some one off characters, very good if you like individuality

Enjoyment - 9 / 10
Very good compared to many other anime I have seen, despite the random plot twists every now and then, I really reccomend this

Overall - 8 / 10

Well, this was my first Harem anime and it was actually quite surprising at what I was watching, it was a lot better than i had expected, the humour was good with the many embarrassing situations that the maids get Taro into.

I also particularly liked the side story of Taro and Mariel, but since I can't give much away, I would recommend this anime, although be warned its rated 15+ for female nudity and some mild language.

I found the characters, which all had their own different traits to be a very good plot line also, with Mariel being the maid of maids, the three ... sisters, Lemon Melon and Maron as the seductive types and etc.

This Anime gets a 4.5 from me which is equal to 9 out of 10 on here. A must see for all Harem and Bishojo lovers out there.

P.S I did not watch this for the Bishojo, I enjoy seeing boys and young men being teased in such manner. :)

I personally loved this anime + the OVA (For some reason it counts as episode 11)
The only reason i'm giving the story a 6 is because it didn't get too dramatic until the second half of the series.

the sound was just phenominal (sorry can't spell that) The Opening theme and Ending theme really gave it that extra push!

A Recommendation for all Harem / Ecchi Fans out there!
