I should write a review while it's fresh in my mind. Still very bad with names though...

Story: Okay... yes generic. I didn't feel as connected as I did in Air. Then again they had no space to get me with. It didn't feel all that right I guess. I'm a sucker for drama though. The story caught me and I felt a little involved emotionally. The slice of life was cute and the action half was interesting, and gave me a chance to make assumption and deduce what might be happening. It didn't explain much but if you watch all the way through, it looks ... like they're opening up for a sequel 6/10

Art: Uh... I'm not sure to be honest. I liked it but at the same time it felt a little cheep. It was different and I like different. The action world had such a weird look to it and the slice of life world looked like a generic anime but different... I'm not sure how. It was good but at the same time... Urg. 8/10

Sound: When it's based off a song I better hope its OST is good. I felt the music fit where it was placed and it's tone was close to spot on. The actions scenes felt more ramped up, the heart warming scenes felt all the more warm, and the dramatic scenes hit that much harder. Also I'm a sucker for piano and guitar... 9/10

Character: Well... Generic... But a good generic feel. I didn't get all that attached to them but if this was a twelve episode anime or larger, I would have fell in love with them I bet. Te opposite reality.. I'm not sure to say the least. They deserve some credit I'd say, because when her friend went missing I did feel sad as though I might have lost my own friend... 7/10

Enjoyment: Well to say the least I'm a simple person and I'm entertained easily. I had fifty minutes to spare. Of course I could have been watching another anime but I don't have a regret here. I enjoyed the slice of life (I'm such a sucker) and the action look really cool. Making assumptions and guess at the alternate world and their ties was fun (such has watching the Haruhi movie, I was being Sherlock Holmes through the entire movie, almost like foreshadowing in a book.) I enjoyed this. 9/10

Overall: I was away from the hype, lucky me I guess? It's a pretty good OVA if you don't expect the world.

My first review, bare with me... Sorry that it's short.

Story: So far only four episodes in it's not safe to judge, but overall the story is progressing at a great rate leaving me never bored, but also never questioning (okay except the "Where did zombies come from?" thing but that I don't expect to know.) This seems like what would really happen in a zombie apocalypse, so they're hitting the story dead on. If I have to critic it then that would be on the overall cliche feeling of it. 9/10

Art: This is top notch. I heard they have a nice sized animation budget. It ... has to 2006+ feel to it. The fight scenes are fluid and smooth. They give an awesome actiony feel to it. The backgrounds are splendid and it's overall very good. A downside, way to much fan service. The first two episodes we're really bad, but these last two have seemed to be a little better. 9/10

Sound: Okay it falls a bit short here. The OP is pretty good, and I like how they animated to the song. I don't care for the ED. The OST music is... okay, some anime have a lot better but this one isn't bad. The voice acting is.. Well I say it's pretty good, I don't like the nurses voice acting but it does fit her character. I'm not that keen of Japanese voice acting though. I don't speak it. 7/10

Character: I like watching how this is going. They are acting like how you an I would act (well maybe, you might just get eaten.) I can connect to them in a way. Of course I'll chose flight over fight in this situation (being a tracuer and all) but it feels right, like they're real people. Well almost at least. The romance is a bit meh, almost like they felt they had to put it in there but didn't want to. I guess it's not horrible though. 8/10

Enjoyment: Of course this section is very varied for each person. I have been enjoying this anime and anticipating it's next episode through the whole week only to get drawn in even more since episode one aired. I've always been a fan of zombie survival things. Friends and I spend hours talking about what we'd do in a zombie apocalypse. To top it off these are my zombies, they fit every aspect. I'm not a major fan of the fan service as I said, it's more distracting than anything. 8/10

Overall: It is doing what it set out to. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind violence, gore, or fan service.
