I've seen this anime be compared with Yuru Camp by viewers of many shapes and personalities. In fact, quite a few viewers have touted "Do-it Yourself' (DIY) as the spiritual successor to the beauty that is Laid Back Camping. As someone who has watched both series in full, I agree in many ways. First, the animation style of the background environments are simply gorgeous. If you want an anime that soothes your mind and soul amid a stressful period in your life, this is the anime for you. The anime features a bunch of girls within a fictional, secluded rural village who go through all kinds of silly antics in their daily life. The girls are of varying ages. My review comes from someone who is on the final stages of his doctorate thesis in biochemistry, so take what with what you will. I am also someone who's just begun his journey into isekai animes so I won't be comparing isekais in this review.
