All Out!!

Same game and environment in the school setting. Meisetsu was short lived but still fun to read. All Out!! is still starting so how it will go on is uncertain. It still has some promising elements that can make it longer lived series than its counter part.

Both are series about cars for street racing. Initial D has a younger driver driving an old classic car while in Countach an middle aged ex-street driver gets his hands to a classic sports car (Countach). Both mangas share same type of feeling and for in my opinion also kinda same-school of style of drawing.

At the first sight both are stories about a boy coming from country side to a bigger town with a wish joining to a high school team and make new friends. As well both main protagonist have a talent that gives them a special kind of aura of a talent. All they want is to get chance to play rugby/ basketball and get better in their chosen sports. Both boys are also small sized and seemingly not fitting to their beloved sports but that doesn't stop them from playing. Size doesn't matter that much. They believe that even though being a small one can do something to help their team and also enjoy doing it.
