I honestly love this anime... Short action packed episodes with an animation style that really fits the mood of this anime.

Sure it's low budget, the animation is stiff and there's only 6 episodes per season.

But the storytelling and the excecution of the production team make it way worth it.

I assume you already watched S1 so you know that:

If you accept it and decide to appreciate it as is then you'll love it.

... If you at least keep an open mind you won't be dissapointed.

Now... If you watch it expecting Ore Dake Level Up Na Ken level animation, then you'd be wasting your time.

...

I believe it's one of the best horror anime out there. I can only assume people that rate it low are hung up on the lack of production budget instead of appreciating how well they did inspite of the lack of funds.

Watch this anime if you like the simple fantasy innocent harem mc formula. It is pretty well executed with nice artstyle and animation and small little twists that differentiate it from the other anime in the same category.

Of course if you don't like that kind of anime then stay away.

I'm on episode 7 and so far one of the things that I found surprising is how wholesome it is (Especially for a harem anime).

And while the story is predictable (because it's wholesome and it's following a proven formula) I thoroughly enjoy watching it and find myself looking forward to the next 17 ... episodes.

There are a few characters with a hint of being multifaceted. I hope we get to enjoy a bit more depth in their stories as we'll have 24 episodes in this season so there should be some time. However this is not the kind of anime where I'm expecting a log of character depth and I think it can be enjoyed plenty for what it is... a simple anime with a simple story to pass the time while we wait for the next masterpiece.

This anime gets real... It's perfect to watch if you are ready to think past your religious dogmas and you are ready to question authority.

It's a beautiful work of art that gets you thinking about all those unknown characters in history who we won't ever know about because religions have crushed their existance.

Other than the absolute feast for thought that this anime is. I feel it's very well written, I love the artstyle and loved that the story comes to a close... No need to agonize for 7 years waiting for season 2 or anything like that.

Lastly. I wouldn't binge watch this one... I ... believe each episode is worthy of taking a break to reflect about the story.

Arifureta is one of my favourite series. Looking past the obvious Harem Isekai with an OP MC. The lore of its universe is very well defined. The characters are all very well writen with depth, personalities and quirks that come from their past experiences.

S3 so far (I'm on ep 11) has been great at sticking to the source material. Of course it feels rushed and we lose some of the emotional impact from different moments in the story but that's just the price to pay to have a great story made into an anime.

The Anime can't really show everything which is why I recommend everyone ... also read the LN and the Prequel spin off LN about the creators of the labirinths.

I am an isekai fan. I don't care about the clichés as long as the characters are solid and the story is enjoyable. If you are anything like me. Then you'll enjoy this one... Sure. It is rushed and we don't get to delve deep into the characters. I wish we had more time... maybe 24 episodes to expand.

I especially like this anime because the MC is not happy about being Isekai'd and reminds me a lot of Arifureta in the begining. I love Arifureta. Is one of my favourites.

And while I wish it was better. and I absolutely concede that it has ... many flaws. I am glad I got to watch it. And I would even rewatch it.

I love this series. Let me preface by saying. I am a Fantasy Isekai fan. I know it has all the clichés except for 1 (I can't say whichone it doesn't without spoilers so I won't say). Hear me out... This author managed to use all the clichés and still create characters with depth. Of course they also have their one-dimensional quirks but they have a backstory that helps you understand and relate to those quirks.

I thought's we'd never get S2 after all the good anime that I have left unresolved in my life... So I got the Light Novels. It's only the 3rd ... anime I ever do that for. I absolutely recommend you get the LN because you'll be in for a treat if you like the anime.

I think it was one of the best anime of this season and you'd be missing out if you skip it.

Watch it if you like wholesome dramas that bring joy and tears.

While the middle definitely feels rushed. I think the studio did the best they could with the 12 episodes they had. In general you get to mostly appreciate the character development. Although 16 episodes would've been better.

The story is very unique. I loved that they never put the little girl in any uncomfortably sexual situation. That would've sucked. But they managed it great.

I am not a huge animation nerd (I grew up in ... the days of Dragon Ball so yeah anything looks good enough) but I think the art and animation are a perfect complement to the story.

Absolutely worth watching if you are a fantasy genre lover.

The personality of the MC will give you some mixed feelings but that's not a bad thing. You don't always have to like something to respect it. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll just leave at that.

It is a refreshing take on the fantasy/magic genre. The characters are interesting and varied. It feels like 12 episodes are not enough to really get to know them well and they have a lot of room to grow as the story develops. So I have high expectations for S2

The opening and ending songs are fire! Probably ... the best this season (according to my non-professional bias based on my music taste).
