Both Anime deals with Characters who struggle in life and doesn't know what to do, while Sakura Quest has a more comical approach and Mach comes like a lion has a more melancholic one. Both animes states the same message which is You Matter.

If you liked D-Frag! add

...then you might like Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy add

Both series is about the Main Character being forced to join a group full of Chuunibyou's and do various stuff, D-frag's focus is on creating games white Chuubyou boys is about being heroes. and both Main Character is struggling to understand his/her "Friends" Both are fun to watch though for me D-Frag is more funnier.

If you liked Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii add

...then you might like Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita. add

both series talks about Adults trying to explore love with the help of the things that they love, Wotakoi explores the romance of two Otaku adults while Rikei koi is also about two scientist explores love with the help of Science. Both anime has their own unique way of presenting love and both have solid supporting characters that are also fun to watch. both of these shows will be enjoyed by adults..i think

If you liked Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri add

...then you might like Isekai Shokudou add

Both Anime's are following the Idea of introducing something from our world to the Isekai world, where as GATE introduces military and Yaoi to the the Isekai world, Isekai Shokudou is about introducing earthly cuisine to the Isekai world. Both also has the Isekai vibes and i think are enjoyable to watch as we see how the people from the Isekai world reacts to the new things they are seeing.

...then you might like Machikado Mazoku add

Both series talks about Demons in which they deal with poverty, while the devil is a part timer is more about a demon lord working to take over the world, Machikado Mazoku is all about a demon girl working to get her family out of poverty. In both series you will see how they struggle in life and money matters as well as how they deal with their powers and their environment.

If you liked Fukigen na Mononokean add

...then you might like Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san add

While Yuragi sou is more on the ecchi and harem genre and Fukigen is more on helping Yokai. both are similar in terms of how the MC deals with his new life with the supernatural.

If you liked NHK ni Youkoso! add

...then you might like Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai: Under the Innocent Sky. add

Though Oretsuba focuses more on the fanservice, I do think that these 2 are similar as they are both talking about a specific psychological issue. Orestuba talks Multiple personality disorder while NHK talks about Hikkikomori. both series also talks about how the main character copes up with their psychological issues

...then you might like Machikado Mazoku add

-Both anime revolves around the daily lives of someone with magical powers, though Machikado Mazoku is more moe and has a little plot on it, they still follow the same slice of plot plot where the main character who has special powers tries her best and lives a normal life. School also doesn't play a much bigger role in both animes but family and friends are.

...then you might like Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka? add

Call me weird but I think these 2 are quite similar in some ways. Both has Sci-fi settings and is talking about the hardships of Military and political life, both main characters have different motives in joining but regardless, the army was not their first choice.

-Both shows talks about music and has taken music seriously -Both of the heart of the band Kasumi (poppin party) Koyuki (Beck), started off with nothing but desire to make music. -Both shows also addressed the life and conflicts of each band members

-Both talks about sports obviously. -Both starts with 2 people meeting then later was involve in a club. -Both plot focuses on tournaments. -Both talks about the importance of friendships in sports -(my personal opinion) both designed for extroverted individuals -both has idol archetypes as well as friendly rivalry with another team. -At least one of the main casts has some sort of troubled past.

Both anime centers about soul searching as characters search who they are or what they want to do. Both anime's also focuses on the lives of other characters and why they become like that.

excluding the teacher-student relationship, both anime does focus on the most serious side of romance, as both male protagonist find their way to find their true feelings
