Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai might be the first anime review I've written in a while. First of all, I myself believe that the story has soo many potential to be developed IF the anime want to do more than 13 episodes. The anime had a potential to be that one of the anime with slow burns romance, filled with every day life and friendships. Kinda like the romcoms of western series, I think? But hey, I'm not saying on how they conclude the series is bad (i quite enjoyed it actually), but it's pity they took a 'mediocre' route instead of doing something new.
The
...
art may be the very first reason why I watched the anime in the first place. It made me missed Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun so much :( and the atmosphere of the artwork is just peaceful and relaxing, which I really enjoyed.
The music and BGMs of the series is on-point but not quite memorable, they produced a music that made you want to sit back in a relaxing manner while probably enjoyed a hot chocolate on a rainy day while watching it. Again, like the artwork, it's peaceful and relaxing.
I really like the characters actually?? They're pretty solid and some of them felt very 'real', like I could see my friends in them. An opinion, but I really like Ijuin's character. He's this character that made you want to smack his head but still want to gave him a hug or a simple pat on the shoulder. Much like I'd do to my real life best friends.
The seiyuus are the reasons I stayed though. Especially Tada's seiyuu which is Nakamura Yuuichi. Nakamura Yuuichi delivered a very great acting by becoming a simple high schooler, he somehow managed to bring Tada-kun to life. Tada is a very simple character and to see how Yuukyan executed him to life without being dramatic is just gorgeous.
Overall, this is a great anime for you guys who want to do some relaxing binge-watches at the end of the day (or semester, like me). Don't think about the storyline too much and I assured you, this could be one of the anime that could bring a smile to your face after a tiring day.

Following this series for two years, left me devastated when I knew my Monday will go on without a new episode of this series.
Ace of Diamond : Second Season has proven to me the art and meaning of Japanese High School Baseball or kokoyakyu since the story resolved around it. It was the continuation of the first season, when the boys and the new team struggles their way to perform in Koshien that they failed to do during the summer. The main drama of this season is somewhat more personal and we get to see and learn more about the bunch of old and new
...
characters of this series. In this series, we also get to see more of the realistic kokoyakyu side and how 'youth' really is portrayed here from the friendship, rivals, worries, improvement, determination and hard work. The story has became more and more interesting.
You could compare the old art (the 2013 series) with this second season by comparing it side by side and you could told the difference and see the improvement the staff did to this series. I'm not going to lie but yes, they still use same animations for different scenes but they managed to differentiate it and spice it up! It's nice to see the staff improve the art :)
To be honest, I prefer the endings more than the openings. Sure GLAY sings well and right on the heart at one point and another, but somehow the endings have something that the openings don't have. For example, KIMERO! the first ending of the season, that has a very upbeat and full of spirit ending which introduces us to the new 'core' characters of the season and shows that both Eijun and the new team has a pretty long way to go but they undergo it with spirit and determination, or Brand New Blue, the last ending, with a slow build melody but then changes into a cheer upbeat, pointing out that Seidou new team is finally in sync and is ready to face the trials and challenges that awaits them.
The seiyuus also delivered their greatest performance. They mentioned several times that sometimes the studio turned into a somewhat boys locker room or a real club room due to the 'youth' atmosphere and that the studio is full with men who longs their youthful years. After the series end, you also could tell that for some seiyuus, Diamond no Ace, was a wonderful project and that they are thankful to be a part of it.
I could write a long essay about all of the characters. No really. A summary about it would be that the most of the characters, like 98% of them, are all baseball idiots with a young and full of youth personality. They are also very lovable and I find myself couldn't hate any of them. Their matters are also somewhat relatable in my own life that I find myself sympathize with them.
Lastly, as I said in the beginning of the review, going through Monday without Ace of Diamond : Second Season was pretty much devastating since Daiya was the reason I could smile every Monday evening. That is how much I love watching Daiya and how much I enjoyed it. It taught me many things and one of the lesson that I remembered and held dear is that 'Hard work makes perfect'. I 100% recommend to you (after you watch the first season) if you want to know the continuation of real Japanese High School Baseball or maybe you want to watch boys playing baseball with dirt, drama and an angst here and there or for just.. Miyuki.

Here's an updated review now that the series has officially ended.
As a person who just started watching Gintama at exact one year ago, when this 2015 series started, I understand that you think "wait why is Gintama popular again?" or maybe now, "Why is it in the first ranking of MAL???" and unfortunately my friend, I can't answer that. Because I myself, don't know why either. To be honest, I started watching Gintama at the seventh season (this season) first episode and the next thing I knew, I was laughing hard.
What make Gintama interesting and why you should watch this? Well for me, the story
...
pretty much unpredictable. You don't know what's coming and that make Gintama interesting. That is also why I rated the story 10/10. When people said that there all kinds of genre are packed in Gintama, it is true. At one moment you can laugh out loud without knowing when you will stop laughing, moments later you might be looking frantic for a tissue box because you were crying your eyes out or maybe, I don't know, sitting at the edge of your seat and praying for all went well during the last two serious arcs of this season? Well, it's a bit exaggerated but it's true. I experienced it.
The Gintama art and animation steadily improved from the first season, which was 10 years ago. It deserves some credits for the improvement. You could see the improvement and the difference of the art and animation of this series. In the beginning of Gintama series (the 2006 ones), their art was very sharp and shounen-ish but in the latest one, the art and the animation was more soft and somewhat relaxing to stare at.
Meanwhile, the OST fits perfectly with the moments, whether it was in comedy mode, action mode even sad mode. The OP/ED also fits perfectly. For example, Day by Day was filled with bright colors while Pride Kakumei was fill with more darker colors and gave us some seriousness vibe. After that, you got Beautiful Days with its upbeat and cheerfulness, giving us a hint that the comedy episodes has returned before turning it into an again, a dark and full of action opening. Lastly, Gintama closes its book with a gloomy, serious yet epic opening with Know, Know, Know by DOES.
The seiyuus are incredible as well. They delivered their best performances into this series in every single scene and sometimes I wondered how they managed to held back their laughter during the recording session.
The characters are the most interesting part. It's not a rare thing to see them breaking fourth wall, including mocking the very own protagonist, insulting their own mangaka, making fun of the producer and director of the shows in the previous six seasons. Every character have their perfections and their flaws and there are no characters in this series that was not insulted by the mangaka. The male characters are unique, you have the lazy protagonist, the stalker gorilla, the sadist, etc. Meanwhile, the female characters portrayed as a strong willed and independent individual, and yet the mangaka still made fun of them.
If you have watched the previous seasons of Gintama, you've seen how each of the characters grew and developed in the most awesome way. Or if you haven't, and you should do so by the way, you might've had this strong feelings toward secondary characters who has very small screen time yet relatable to you somehow.
Overall, it was a 9/10. If you are interested with an anime in their seventh season that was filled with other animes parodies, toilet and dirty jokes, comedy gags and sometimes could switch into more serious and touching mode, then Gintama is your choice. Gintama is also great to watch it if you feel bored or searching for an anime to binge watch. That's what I did and I didn't regret it. Oh and the reason I chose 9 not a 10 was because my disappointment of why didn't they adapt more of the comedy arcs or stories because I was hoping them to do so :(
But Gintama is still cool.

Okay, let me just get this started. I just read it couple weeks ago, and I fell in love instantly.
Story : Gangsta tells you about two 'handymen' who lives in dysfunctional city of Ergastulum where crimes, thieves, prostitutes, mobsters, and corrupted cops are everywhere. Worrick, an easy-going freelance gangster and Nic, a deaf, aloof also a freelance gangster, together they sometimes got hired for doing 'dirty' work people normally won't do. And then the plot develops. From Worrick and Nic's daily life as 'handymen', some big problems began to show up. The story caught my interest, and I was surprised how interesting the story is
...
and I'm looking forward how the story will be. So far, the story was an 8/10.
Art : The art was seinen-typical. But sometimes, it also has the comedic vibe that would made you giggles sometimes. (it works on me though). So, the art was an 8/10.
Character : The character was superb. As I said earlier, you have the easy going freelance gangster, Worrick and his deaf, aloof partner, Nic who do 'dirty' jobs that the police or other people wouldn't want to. Then, there's Alex, a former prostitute they met who then works as their secretary. There's also, the doctor, Nina, the police officers, the mobs who will be introduced later and I must refrained myself from telling you guys. The characters was a 9/10.
Enjoyment : So far, I enjoyed reading Gangsta. The fight scenes, the dramas, the story and the characters interactions were all interesting. I can't believe that this drama successfully made me almost teared up when I read one of the fight scene. So, the enjoyment was a 9/10.
Overall : 8/10. Overall, Gangsta was one of my favorite Seinen manga and I looked forward for the anime. You want a manga with gangster? mafias? dirty cops? fight scenes? dramas? with a little bit explicit content? Then Gangsta is your choice. Please do read it.

I thought I was going to have a bad impression about Tokyo Ghoul because of the gore and others, turns out I was wrong. This manga was amazing.
Story : Ghouls are humans that eat another human in order to survive and live. Technically, since they are cannibals, they are different from humans. Really? When I first read the manga, I thought ghouls were disgusting and such, but the mangaka showed me--us the "human" side of ghoul. Ghouls are able to have family, to love, to protect, to socialize, to feel like a real human being, even though they ate other humans. That's one of the
...
aspect that I love about the story.
The story set up nicely. A human, college student, namely Kaneki Ken who became a ghoul due to organ donations from another ghoul, Kamishiro Rize, also known as "the binge eater" and then led his life as a half ghoul, half human. He was forced to eat humans meat in order to live and learned fight how to protect himself from the ghouls investigators. It was a 9/10.
Art : The art was great and nicely drawn. There are some time where I'm not a big fan of the arts but the mangaka had work hard on this so I appreciated his hard work. It was a 8/10.
Characters : I gotta say that Kaneki Ken is not your typical shounen protagonist. At my opinion, Kaneki seems have no goals or anything. He tried to accept his life as a half human, half ghoul and lived with it. But, he then gradually improved. He began to fight, and wanted to protect everyone, even though he knew it was selfish for him. Kaneki was one of the character that had a really great character development. Also, don't forget about Touka, Nishio, Yomo, Tsukiyama, Amon, Mado, etc. All of the characters in this manga are unique and also fascinating in their own way. It was a 9/10.
Enjoyment : I enjoyed reading it. It was sure, one of my favorite manga. I like how the manga gave me this chill vibe and sometimes anxious feeling wondering what's happening right now. It was clearly an enjoyment for me so it was a 8/10.
Overall : Tokyo Ghoul was a very interesting manga with a great story concept and the progressed of its story. It shows you the "human" side of a 'monster', it also shows you a different kind of protagonist and then have you witnessed his development as the story goes on, it shows you so many dangerous conflicts and that sometimes even enemies can become your allies.
So, if you're searching to read a manga that has fighting, family drama, a super character development, with a little gore and blood and organs here and there? Tokyo Ghoul is indeed, your choice.
Also did I mentioned about the bloopers of the manga being super funny?
It was a 8/10 for me.

A lot of my friends were talking about Nagi no Asukara and at that time, I haven't started it. I wasn't very interested. But, as long time progress, I tried it. And I was mind blown. P.A Works have done a really, really great job by making this.
Story : Well, you might considered the background story a bit strange when you first watched it and then you raised your eyebrows. I mean, underwater villagers? It's a bit strange right? But, I promise you, with that kind of background, you'll be super amazed as the story progressed.
Nagi no Asukara served you a really interesting drama
...
and romance story. In my experience, I thought I've figured out who ended up with who, but I was totally wrong. Because they gave you a twist that sometimes you can't expect. So, for me, the story was a 9/10.
Art : The art was a complete beyond awesome. The beautiful backgrounds and scenery, the details, even the water details, it was really awesome and breathtaking. So, it's a 10/10 because of the amazing art and details.
Sound : The Opening and Endings are both lovely. Really soothing and relaxing. The voice actors themselves were awesome as well. The main male trio were voiced by new faces in the anime industry, such as Ishikawa Kaito, Hanae Natsuki and Ohsaka Ryouta, yet they have gave us an awesome performances. Hana Kanazawa, Ai Kayano, Ishihara Kaori and Mikako Komatsu also gave us their best performances while voicing their characters. Both the OSTs and Voice Actors are 9/10.
Character : The characters are great in their own ways. I admired all of them. The unrequited romances, friendships and conflicts between a character with another character or a character with themselves are great. It's a 9/10
Enjoyment and Overall : For me Nagi no Asukara was a pretty amazing anime. The story, the characters, the conflicts and dramas, it made me want to joined them and explore. I had a great time watching this, all the funny moments, the breathtaking moments, even the sad moments (I remember crying watching several episodes couple of times), I'm glad I watched Nagi no Asukara. Really, I do. For an enjoyment, it was a 8/10, and the overall score for Nagi no Asukara was a 9/10
If you're looking for a romance, drama and fantasy with a little bit of twist, then Nagi no Asukara is definitely the one.

If you ever feeling down or sad, try to read Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. Believe me, this manga will make you laughed the hell out of it.
Story : It has a pretty nice start. A girl confessed to a boy she likes. Turns out, the boy mistook her as one of his 'fans' and ended up giving his autograph. Well, who knows. The boy was a professional shoujo-mangaka. As the story progress, you can see that Chiyo had to struggle to caught Nozaki's attention but Nozaki is not seemingly aware with Chiyo's feeling towards him. The manga consisted with 90% comedy and 10% romance, so you
...
can't expect any significant romance development between Nozaki and Chiyo in here. It's an 8/10.
Art : The art was great itself. It was well drawn! The mangaka pointed some of the tools they usually used when making manga and it was a new information for me. Also, the manga uses a different art style for every manga they drew in Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, so it won't confused you. It's a 9/10.
Character : The character were superb. You have the dense shoujo mangaka, his assistants (which consist with : the one who he mistook as a fan that's in charge of inking, the playboy yet shy who's in charge of effects, the tired reliable senpai who's in charge of background and the first year athlete who's in charge of screen tone), the school prince and the 'wild' Lorelei, the editors etc. The characters were all unique to begin with, and sometimes their interactions were just pure hilarious. It was a 9/10 from me.
Enjoyment : As I said, whenever I feel down or sad or maybe just bored, I immediately read this manga from chapter 1 again. I could never got bored with the story because every page was just pure hilarious and has it own greatness. It was a perfect score from me for the enjoyment.
Overall : A great 9/10. You're looking for a hilarious 4-koma manga? Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is your answer. Each page will make you laugh and you'll want to read some more. You won't regret reading this.

You're looking for a light sports manga? Then Haikyuu!! it is.
Story : Love the 'Your greatest enemy became your formidable ally' concept. The story starts out with a nice start. A young kid who wanted to play volleyball after he was amazed by an athlete performance on TV and wanted to be like him. The story was a bit slow-paced though, I'm not surprise if some people dropped the manga because its slow-paced. But I think the match was pretty well written and drawn that it covered the slow-paced. It's an 8/10.
Art : The art was outstanding. It was soft (for me, at least)
...
for a sports manga but it was well drawn. And when there's an unexpected situation or event, the art became even more outstanding and a pure perfection. The art was a 9/10.
Character : I love every character that have appeared in this manga so far. It was well drawn and their personalities were very interesting. From the duo main characters, to all of their team members, managers, the opposite teams and others. The mangaka also successfully wrote their interactions as well. Not to mention, the character development was a thumb up too!! It was a 9/10 for the characters.
Enjoyment : If you need a sports manga that was a light one, Haikyuu!! It is. As I read it thorough, this manga was very enjoyable. As I said before, the fact that the story was a bit slow-paced and more realistic, the match was well written and I couldn't forgot how amazed I was every time I read it. It was a 9/10.
Overall : It's an 8/10. This manga came out every once a week and the wait was worth it. I couldn't help but sometimes waiting impatiently for the new chapter to came out. I actually re-read Haikyuu!! couple of times already, but this manga never made me bored, no matter how I re-read it.

Noragami is not your usual supernatural manga. You search for a mystery? intense fight? Gods? Family? Comedy? Goofy Characters? Betrayal? Itsy-Bitsy Romance? This manga has it all.
Story : I read the manga as soon as I reached the 3rd episode of the anime and boy have I made a great decision. This story starts out with a god, namely Yato who was saved by a human girl, Hiyori, when she saw him almost got run by a truck. But, by saving him, it leads her to communicate with the "other side". It sounds plain, at first. As the story goes on, you'll see the
...
mystery evolving, the well-paced plot and some life-lesson as well. The story would make you laugh, make you cried and definitely will make you anxious waiting for the next chapter to be updated. It's a 9/10 from me.
Art : I love the art. Adachi Tohka-sensei really poured all of the hard work in it. It was amazing and it was worth to stare at. It was a 9/10.
Character : Normally I wouldn't give a 10. But Noragami characters were exception. Because all of them-- yes, all of them, were outstanding in their own ways. Yato, a dork delivery god who doesn't have a shrine. But, that doesn't made him not helping people who need him. Yukine, one of the character that undergoes the most significant character development. At first, he looked like a selfish brat, but he's just a person who wanted to be cared for. Hiyori, a human-girl who's not your typical female protagonist. She's not what you call annoying and mary sue or such. She is willing to do anything to make Yato and Yukine happy and cared the both of them deeply like a mother would. I wouldn't rant about Kazuma, Bishamon, Kofuku, Daikoku and others because it will spoiled the story. Overall, it's a perfect score for the characters.
Enjoyment : As I said before, Noragami has it all. From mystery, battle actions, family bonding, comedy and romance and I enjoyed everything that this manga had to offer. It was a 9/10.
Overall : It was a 9/10. Every month I will wait anxiously for the next chapter to be updated and every time the new chapter came out, it was worth to wait for it.

This is my first time writing a review, and usually I wouldn't care much about reviews or such but since this anime was a bit underrated in my community, I had to write a review about it since this anime was the one that made me took a liking on baseball.
Story : I watched many famous and well-known sports anime and usually the characters went to an underdog school and joined the club that has few numbers of members, but Diamond no Ace was different. The main character, Sawamura Eijun, joined Seidou High, a pretty prestigious high school with a strong baseball team that had
...
so many members. It's a new experience for me to watch Eijun struggled in the baseball team to become the number 1 Ace of Seidou Baseball Team. He still have a loong way to go though. I gave the story 8/10.
Art : I fell in love with the art when I watched the 1st episode. My friend joked that maybe this kind of art was the one that suits me the best. I like how the animators of the anime made the art and animations so it's 9/10 for the art from me.
Sound : At first I'm not particularly fond with the first opening but it grew on me, that goes the same with the second opening. The OST was also good, I enjoyed it to the point where sometimes humming it without realizing. But I didn't really enjoy the first three endings, I hope the last ending will cover it since the CV of Eijun, Furuya and Haruichi will be the one who sang it. I gave the sound 7/10.
Character : The characters.. There's more than a dozen. It took me a while to memorize the first string members of Seidou High Baseball Team line-up and boy there's still many to come. But, I enjoy it nevertheless. Each character were given a background story that made me having a hard time to hate them. The Seidou team also supports each other, teaching their player that baseball is a team play and that kind of stuffs. But really, sometimes the Diamond no Ace characters could be a giant huge dorks too. And for that, I gave 9/10 for the characters.
Enjoyment : At first few episodes Diamond no Ace was the anime that could made you bored pretty quickly because at first it was all about training and practice matches. But, when the summer tournament arc began it became the anime that will made you bite your nails in excitement because you will be looking forward about the matches that are still on-going. At least for me. It's an 8/10 for me.
Overall : I just recently started watching Diamond no Ace, actually. I had to watched it from the first episode to the latest twenties. At first, I thought Diamond no Ace will be a plain baseball-themed anime but I was wrong when I watched the first episode. It's a 8/10 from me. You guys would think that Diamond no Ace will be boring and such, but believe me, try to watch it and you'll think different and maybe ended up watching through the latest episode? Trust me It's a really good and fun anime to watch!
Follow Sawamura Eijun's intense (and sometimes, stupid) path on becoming the Seidou number one Ace!
