If you have 32 minutes free one afternoon there are worse things you can do than watch Komachi and Dangorou. With only 4 episodes at 8 minutes long the show is as short as the titular characters.

Dress up darling is an amazing watch. We both watched it together and loved pretty much every second.
In short don't be put off by the ecchi. For the most part it's pretty respectfully done. The story is fantastic and the attention to detail and respect Shinichi Fukuda poured into her depictions of cosplay and Hina doll making is something to behold. The protagonists are well rounded flawed people who grow and change throughout the show.
