While they share little in terms of genre there ways that these two shows have plenty of comparisons to one another. In fact while Darling in the FranXX has obviously taken inspiration from the Evangelion franchise, if you were to tell me that some inspiration had taken place Elfen Lied i would most certainly believe it The main comparison that comes to mind is that of our female protagonists, and to some extent that of their darling. while i wont go into spoilers, believe me when i say they sure more than just having pink hair and horns In another way that they do share inspiration is that of certain messages and themes I personally Believe (No Spoilers) that they were trying to get across
