I was so excited, just for the trailer I cried. I have been waiting for the conclusion of this anime for years and I can't wait to buy the light novel.
I loved the film so bad, but i did expect more? Maybe...i really dont know, the animation, music, the 3 storyline are amazing, but if I have to choose I prefer the anime, it gave me more emotions.

Gekka Bijin, a 5-volume manga. Mostly I bought it for the cover, the antique style immediately attracted me, as soon as I bought it I would not have thought it would give me all these emotions, in the end I almost cried.
Maybe the ending was a little quick, and some of the pieces were a bit confusing, but overall it's a truly beautiful story, full of action and comedy, the characters are well characterized and the drawing style is particular (but really beautiful). The change of the protagonist has been done perfectly, making her grow, keeping her story, the same thing goes for the enemies ...

This anime got a lot of hype when it was announced but it disappointed me a lot, the passion for surfing is meaningless just because Masaki watched a stranger surf.
The skip times are randomly placed and are too long, unlike sk8 (I take it as an example) you do not see the protagonist practicing properly, you do not understand where his talent comes from, since he has never surfed from what I understand, some characters are randomly inserted with nonsense (the scene where Iwana joins the group after the race), the course of the story is confused.
